Jeff listened with a small smile as Poppy rambled on about her life at the orphanage, sounding just like an ordinary girl that wasnt a corpse grey with soft glowing eyes and wielding a giant syringe whose "daddy" sounded like Goliath on steroids. She then spoke about how the bad girls apparently go "missing" and he thought to himself 'that doesnt sound good at all'. He couldnt help but notice how she seemed to have trouble saying the word mother, and that was one thing that bothered Jeff, considering he believed everyone had a right to be with their mother... a chance he didnt have. He gave a slightly stern look at Dan at his outburst, falling back a little to whisper to him, "Keep it cool man, you'll have your chance at some bastards soon enough." When Poppy went silent, Jeff looked over for a bit to see that she was reaching for Dans hand, trying to hold it, with Dan gently taking hers in his own, encompassing her tiny fingers with his huge hand, it was, dare he say it, heartwarming. Didnt know Dan could be such a softie.

He walked a little faster until he was walking in pace with Kennedy. He glanced over at her sleek figure, the dress was more than complimenting on her. Jeff blushed a little and looked back down at the ground, regaining his composure before smiling and saying to Kennedy, "Poppy seems like a nice girl. and ol' Danny-boy has taken a bit of a liking to her. I swear theyre acting like siblings already... maybe itll do him good. He could use a little sister." He stayed alongside their leader, hands in pockets as he passed nonchalant glances at the staring passerby's. "If these orphans are as numerous as Poppy says they are, you'd think these people be a little more used to 'em. Think its cus we're with her that makes them uneasy?"
Viren

Viren pulled out the schedule that he had received and smiled as he nodded at Mila, showing her that he also had a magics class scheduled with hers. "It seems at least we'll be there together, and yes I did hope to meet your friends while I am here, so lets hope one of them will be there too." he said as he leaned forward for a kiss before wrapping his arm around her waist and proceeding to walk with her to find the class.

He was interested to see what Mila was capable of, he had only heard of her abilities, so it would be very intriguing to see her in action. Viren on the other hand only knew a handful of elven magic, mostly having to do with healing and plants. He didnt have too much interest in learning all the magic that his village knew, but perhaps now he could learn a few things, as well as have Mila to help him out should he need it.

I followed Himura to the english class and tried along with him to sneak in without being noticed, sadly to no avail as the woman turned and addressed us. Himura went to say that they had gotten lost and it wouldnt happend again, and I pointed to Himura with a very 'what he said' expression before turning to find an empty seat. Himura seemed to be interested in some red headed girl that he seemed to know, and there were no nearby seats with him, so I had to look for my own seat a few rows away. As the class went on, the lady, Ms. Peabody... hehe... told us that we had to write a paper about ourselves... and that was when I froze. I managed to take out a piece of paper and a pencil, but they sat there on my desk as I just stared at it... blankly. Granted I would have had a lot to write about... if I knew how to write that was.

I looked around at the other classmates, all writing away at their paper, all besides Himura and the girl who were passing notes to one another. What were they talking about? I changed my attention back to my blank sheet of paper, unsure of what to do because of my little... handicap. I eventually just lost all interest in everything around me and went to fiddling with the paper, drawing pictures of wolves and humans, though the humans had more animalistic looks much like the wolves. I then went on to losing myself with drawing the picture, it wasnt great, but it was easy to tell what it was. I mean, it did show myself. Part human, part wolf... all wild. Just the way I like to be.
Jeff for the first time in a long time merely remained silent throughout the whole spectacle. His expressionless face did not show what he was thinking of the small frail child with the demon like voice, nor did it really change when Daniel apologized as if it were her own sister, then continued to break down his wall of emotionless nature. Of course he was intrigued, curious, and even a bit nervous, but it wasnt the body next to the girl, it wasnt the strange syringe that she held, nor was it the sickly glow of her eyes. No, what took him was how scared the young girl was. For a strange reason, it reminded him of times passed, before he joined the Knights... when he was an orphan. He knew that look all too well, scared, not being able to fend off whatever it was that was scaring you. At least she had this Rosie character that she spoke of. But even then the frailty of the child was still very much present.

He could tell she wanted to say she wasnt his little sister, but something stopped her from doing so, perhaps something from her past? "Everyone hurts in their own ways..." whispered Jeff to himself, not intending for anyone else to hear, but more for himself. The little girl continued to talk about asking for their names, but inquired that they were running out of time, it was then Jeff noticed the steadily increasing WHUMPS that seemed to get closer and closer until...

That roar... that horrendous roar... it was unlike anything he had heard before, out of instinct, he shifted so that Kennedy would be more behind him, his habit of protecting his leader and friend, and he was just about to pull out his hand cannon until he noticed Poppy to stay very still and quiet. Jeff forced his hand away from his weapon and he held his breath and soon enough the plodding of the footsteps quieted, allowing Jeff to breathe a sigh of relief. Bringing back his joking smile, he looked to Poppy and said quietly "Your daddy doesnt seem to be the type that takes lightly to strangers huh?"
Jeffery was at first a little hesitant to change his fashion, as it had come to be his favorite growing up in Columbia. But he realized that he would have to change and blend in during their little mission here in the humongous Rapture. With a sigh he began rummaging through the clothes, finding that these were completely rich people clothes, the kind he could have only dreamed of having. And to his surprise, they looked infinitely better than most in Colombia. As he looked around, he came across a rather nice suit. It was a tuxedo style complete with black vest and matching coat, it was cut just below the waist and had a silk black tie to accompany the white dress shirt underneath.

With a smile like a childs, he grabbed his size and went to change. The suit was form fitting and showed off his slender yet strong build, while still allowing him free movement without restraint. He was upset that he wouldnt get to show off his tattoos, but he figured he would be able to in due time. He strutted out of the changing room, he spotted Daniel in his new attire and was about to compliment him when he noticed that he seemed... distracted, so he figured it best to leave him alone for now. His gaze shifted until it landed on... Kennedy?! His eyes shot open and his jaw dropped only slightly at the new look of his leader. She was gorgeous! Jeff smiled and made his way over to her after she sweet talked the clerk, charging a poor sap by the name Cohen.

After the clerk had left, Jeff went to her and said "My dear if we didnt have a job to do I would take you out to dinner and a movie this instant" he smiled warmly at her as he said this, even though his eyes were playful his voice was sincere. He coughed a little to bide his time then said "Y-you look great... not that you havent before... b-because you have its just... wow... you look great"

Now, it is rare to hear Jeff stutter and stumble for words, as little to no scenario would have him unprepared for such a thing. But when it came to speaking to his own leader... well complimenting and borderline flirting... well, he'd much rather face a Handy Man unarmed first.
Viren

Viren smiled and accepted the kiss wholeheartedly, wrapping both of his arms around her waist as her lips were pressed against his. He no longer questioned her want to be with him, that kiss answered his question. He went back to wrapping his arm around her waist as they made their way to their first class, curious as to what the classes would be about. Viren had learned many things throughout his travels, from history to natural physics. Hopefully that would make it a bit easier on himself and he could help others if needed.

Jake

I think I might have ruined the moment between the two with my gazing at them, because I saw Himura let go of his mate and wave to me, as if he were trying to act natural. Sun gods confuse me. I hopped up from my spot on the grass and sprinted over to the two, faster than any human could, but im no human. I smiled widely at the two and nodded to Himura, still feeling his awkward. "Hello again. So bells mean class time?" I said curiously as I perked my ears up to the sound. I then looked to the female and smiled widely, holding out a hand in greeting, "My name Jake, you Himura's mate? What is name?" I said, trying to sound casual as I could. Damn language barrier.
Viren

Viren nodded with a smile as she asked if he had a room number for the academy, and pulled out a small sheet that held the number 312. He smiled as she kissed his cheek, more than willing to accept the small gift from her. He would always welcome her kisses. "So I was thinking Mila, now that it has been made official that we are a couple... if youd like to be that way... perhaps we should make it known? I dont know what you think on whole public matters as such... for elves, especially in the same village, everyone knows everything that happens. What do you say?"

Jake

I decided to take the time I had alone to go and explore the grounds of the academy. I quickly learned of the forests that surround the school and immediately decided that I would make myself better acquainted with the area in the days to come. It had been a while and I was getting antsy for a change to let my wolf run about one of these nights. I passed Himura as he seemed to be training himself physically, but collapsed. He quickly recovered, but I chuckled and shook my head. Soon he exclaimed out and I looked over to see him embracing a female with excitement and happiness. I assume it was his mate. I never understood the concept of mates. I never had one so I figured it was just a pack learned thing. Oh well. I watched the two with curiosity as they happily embraced.
When the tear opened up, Jeff took a hesitant step back from the immense flux of energy it created. Damn, creating something like that must take a lot out of the guy he thought to himself as he watched Kennedy approach the portal. He could tell she was hesitant, and was tempted to place a comforting hand on her shoulder, but of course her being her, she stepped into the tear without a sound. It was strange, from where he saw, it looked as if she had just walked forward, no indication that she went through aside from the fact she was now discolored as the image in the tear was.

Jeff cracked his neck from side to side and walked forward, planning to be the next to step through. "Well gentlemen, danger awaits!" he said to the other men as he gave a hearty wave and took a leaping step into the tear. He didnt feel that weird aside from the little strange flutter he got from going through, but now he found himself next to Kennedy in as much awe as she was in, taking in the grand spectacle that was this Rapture. "This... this is... incredible!" he exclaimed excitedly to Kennedy, gripping her shoulders as he looked at her with a gleam in his eye before turning back around and taking in the view of the vast underwater city.

For once Jeff was silent throughout the whole speaking with the cop. Jeff was never really one to just quickly accept a person into the organization that he grew up in. Each one of the people he called friends too time to deserve to be called Knights just as he did. It was nothing against Leroys judgement, but just more of his own reservations about Clarence. However he put on his signature smile to hide his feelings and stood up, "Call me Jeff, we cant wait to see what you got to offer" he said with a hearty slap on the guys shoulder.

Jeff chuckled at Kennedy's description of Columbia, it was the best he had heard to say the least. "And they say heaven is underground. Go figure." he replied happily. He then remembered that he had grabbed a few more med kits before heading out and rummaged through his bag to grab them, handing them out to each person. "I didnt expect our charge to pick up two more, so we will be short on medkits, sorry about that fellas, but Ill be sure to spare my own lest any of you two run into any trouble." he said as he walked to hand Kennedy her medkit. As he did he leaned toward her so he could speak silently into her ear "The second that cop turns on us, dont expect me to hold back" he said to her so that only she could hear.
