Location: Safe House

Giving Risa a nod as she made her decision, Lucas took a deep breath, hoping he wasn't regretting his decision as he looked over to the door while she let Roy back in. He couldn't help the constant feeling that this was a mistake, that Roy was just waiting for the perfect opportunity to stab them both in the back. But then again, he figured he would have had similar regrets or thoughts from turning Roy away, and had they done that, he might've just cut his losses and turned against them anyway. At least for the time being, this was their safest option.

As Roy spoke up mentioning the drive by, Lucas sighed, shaking his head as he looked over to Risa. "Well, plan is just the same as before I suppose, we should work on getting those ID's sorted, then we can look into the explosion with a little less suspicion, hopefully." He shrugged as he watched her, crossing his arms over his chest. "Unless any new plan comes to mind?"

Scott Fairburne

Location:AfterDark

Scott sighed as he looked down over the bodies. It wasn't the first time he'd seen bodies before, he'd seen plenty of drive by's just like this one during his gang days, hell, he'd taken part in them. As Trisha came out and spoke up, Scott couldn't help but consider what she said, nothing did go down at Afterdark, that place was Switzerland as far as most of the local gangs were concerned. No business, no violence in or around Afterdark, it was Trisha's place and everyone respected that. He couldn't help but think about the fact that his couldn't have been one of the gangs, this had to be someone else, with an agenda.

He glanced over to Freddy, giving him a nod and a reassuring pat on the shoulder. He knew the man had experiences like he did, he doubted any of the staff were particularly shaken by the attack. Shrugging at his words, he glanced around for a moment or two before looking back to Trisha inside. "Might not be for a couple days either, Trisha'll be on a warpath..." He sighed, shaking his head as he moved back inside, going to get his things to head home, he doubted she'd need him to stick around, after all.
Nathan Darcy

Location: Hyde Park -> Wyndham Estate

As he watched Gerard take the body, Nathan gave him a nod. "A novel idea, I am afraid Cargast and the ethereal are not my area of expertise, t'would be best to bring her to someone more skilled, though perhaps one of the closer churches would be better, the less time outside, the better." He commented, moving along with Gerard, his hand resting gently on his hilt. He knew something had to be going on, a Cargast didn't just show up in the middle of London and attack a woman at random, there was something in the air which he didn't like, things were afoot which weren't going to go well, that was the feeling which nagged at Nathan's conscience as he moved back toward the Wyndham Estate with Gerard, letting the man go up to Millicent to let her know their plans.

In the meanwhile, he moved over to his carriage, still waiting, unhooking one of the horses from it and retrieving a saddle from the carriage itself to place on the horse. It wouldn't be a long ride, but he preferred to have the support and comfort of the saddle itself. As Gerard came back out with his own horse, Nathan climbed up onto his mount, adjusting his jacket idly and glancing down again to the blades resting on his belt, he hoped he would not have to use them, but he certainly couldn't imagine taking them off just then, he preferred to have the extra insurance.

"Let us stop at the nearby church first, best to not waste time with the long trip if our issue can be resolved here first, hm?" He offered a smile to Gerard before beginning to head down toward the church, casting his eyes around from time to time, as if to ensure he was not caught off guard by anything sinister.
Harry Walsh

Location: Qasr El Nil Barracks

Harry moved along with Aziza, content to feel her arm around his own once more as they got back toward the group. He gave a gentle and curteous nod to the others, but remained relatively quiet, letting Aziza do the talking. He took a drink, finding himself grateful for it and the extra nerve it gave him, taking a drink as he let out a sigh, giving a soft smile over to the others as he glanced over to Aziza. At Peter's offer, Harry cleared his throat to speak up finally. "An escort for Aziza here shouldn't be necessary, Lord-Captain, i'll be happy to escort her home, though i'm sure an escort for Miss Ridgeway could be quite appreciated."

He offered a soft smile, remaining courteous as he turned his gaze over to Aziza, still feeling her arm in his own. It would be a bit of a long trip to escort Aziza home and then to head home himself, but he didn't mind, he would much rather have seen her get home safe himself than to head off himself and leave her in the hands of another, despite how confident he might have been in their abilities. He would simply sacrifice the extra sleep, it was a sacrifice he'd made many times after all, he wasn't exactly unused to it.

William Drake

Location: Egyptian Museum

William had taken a moment or two to himself, mumbling and groaning in irritation at Vera's inability to admit the reality of the situation between them, even if her small slip-up had very almost made it clear. In that pause outside her office, he'd missed Nora's comment to Vera about himself, only wandering in in time to hear Vera begin to get Nora back onto the topic of the tablets she had brought in. Taking a breath, he attempted to regain what counted as professional for a man of his stature, moving over and standing on the other side of Nora from Vera as he peered down to the tiles.

Hieroglyphs themselves had never been a great forte of William's, he knew a bit here and there but never enough to put anything much together. All he could usually gather related to signage about traps or dangers ahead, for the purpose of avoiding great pitfalls, spike traps or all other archaic and yet dangerous devices of course. However, he figured such a meagre knowledge wasn't going to be particularly useful in this instance, and so he let the others focus on the tiles themselves, just glancing over them in the occasional hope of spotting something of note.
Jackson Tanner

Location:Shuttle

Listening to Anisa's voice over the intercom, Jackson sighed and turned in his seat back toward the console, beginning to prepare for the exact maneuver she described. It was a dangerous job, heading up and over the Reavers, he could understand why Anisa would put him on the job, but with Gene, he wasn't sure, he could have half expected her to get cold feet and screw it up somehow. For once, he didn't blame her, it was certainly not her job to deal with reavers, he expected just about any rational person to cut and run at any point rather than dealing with them.

As he heard Anisa's order, Jackson took a deep breath and broke the shuttle away from the ship, immediately pulling upward. He figured the reaver ship would fly into the canyon after the Vengeance, and so he flew up and over the canyons itself, with another room to look down into it for when he tried to get over the reavers. Glancing back at his payload again, he sighed and looked back to the controls, it certainly wasn't a suicide mission, but he didn't exactly want to know his odds.

Gregory Quinn

Location: Bridge

Quinn paced the bridge as he looked out the viewport, strategy on his mind, although it scarcely did an immense amount of good in situations like this. Reavers were hard to deal with, and any strategy to engage them never exactly fell under traditional tactics. For now he was content to go along with Moreau's tactics, he seemed to have a plan, and if it didn't work, he was sure the sergeant would have enough time to open up on the Reavers, all they needed to do was at least disable an engine or two in his mind, anyway.

Turning his gaze to Harper after Moreau spoke over the comm, he gave the pilot a nod, for once appreciating the lack of formality in Harper's response to Moreau. It was good to see the officer knew who was his superior, and who was not. As they continued to draw closer to their target, Quinn took a hold of the railing at the end of the landing he stood on, leaning forward as he stared intently out of the viewport. "Get us in position, lieutenant, let's be done with this."

Liam Matthews

Location: the Church
Interacting With: Aloise Zamora @Morose

Liam sighed as he nodded toward Aloise, sitting back and attempting to relax. The vision was still plaguing his mind, but he forced himself to believe, or at least to hope, that the vision itself would not come to pass for some time, or that there was perhaps some way it could be avoided altogether. Whether or not that was the case, he sighed and settled where he was for now, he'd done what he could, told Aloise of his vision, warned her, that seemed to be all he was really able to.

Darren Andrews

Location: Crypt Manor -> The Church
Interacting With: Jade Cornish, Satan,@Morose Everyone at the church

Sighing as he turned toward Jade once the Angel of Death had disappeared, Darren shrugged his shoulders. "Unfortunately I don't follow him on twitter, we'll just need to find him ourselves. If there's anyone in town where he might be for sure, or anyone who might know where he is, it'll be the Crypts, their manor isn't far." He sighed as he moved over to the car again, climbing into it as he waited for her to follow suit, starting to drive off once she was there, toward the manor.

Javier Crypt

Location: The Streets
Interacting With: Mercurial, Belladonna @Morose

Javier only really knew Satan in passing. He was something of a distant family friend, or at least that was perhaps the best way Javier could think to put it. Belladonna was quite well acquainted with Lucifer, while Javier's interactions with the supernatural were usually focused on southern American deities and demons. However, Javier knew well enough of Lucifer to know there could be no good reason he would be searching for the blood of a mortal. Whether Belladonna gave it to him, well, that was up to her, but he felt at the very least an urge to voice his concern. "If I may be so bold, I do believe my dearest has something in mind for this blood. I'm sure the devil himself can go and retrieve some himself, hm?"
Nathan Darcy

Location: Wyndham Estate -> Hyde Park

As Millicent's mother and sisters came out to spoke up, Nathan forced a curt smile to them all as he listened to Mrs. Wyndham's comments, hands clasped neatly behind his back as he sighed. Turning to Millicent, he nodded at her own comment. "No need for apology, Ms. Wyndham." He said, turning his gaze to Gerard as Millicent continued, Nathan nodded. "Just grant me a moment to get my equipment from my carriage, and I will be right along, Mr. Connolly." He said, letting the man head up ahead as he moved back to the carriage, taking a firm hold of his belt and sheathes, placing them on and securing them neatly as he moved off after Gerard toward the park.

A Cargast was certainly not Nathan's area of expertise, the physical was where he generally lended his skills, dispatching the ethereal was something he would tend to leave to those far more qualified. Catching up with Gerard, Nathan's eyes flicked over the fog as it shifted away, he nodded his head toward Gerard. "I'm not as well versed with them, so let's hope it's not too much of a concern, hm?" He commented as he followed along with the stable-hand, looking down to the body of the woman as they approached it. Looking over her face, he sighed somewhat and shook his head.

"Not that I would know, i'm afraid, but I don't imagine the Cargast would have gone off and left her alive, I imagine the most we can do is ensure she's properly laid to rest." He shrugged, bowing his head somewhat. He'd say a prayer for the poor woman later, but for the time being, his focus was on ensuring that her body could be taken to the church, and someone more equipped to deal with the Cargast could be notified, hopefully this was an isolated incident, the last thing he needed were more soulless popping up.

Listening to Roy as he continued to speak, Lucas sighed as he stood there and scratched at his chin. All of this was absurd by general standards, if he hadn't been involved in this business as long as he had, he'd have been convinced that Roy was making everything up, all this stuff about Juno, there was too much insider information for there to not have been at least a shred of truth to it. A big part of him wanted for Lucas not to believe a word Roy was saying, to shrug it all off, but the insider info was useful, it could have given them a leg up, if he actually did know as much as he seemed to let on.

He scoffed at Roy's mention of a bounty, it wasn't his first, Lucas had been hunted by a group of gangsters in one of his and Risa's previous assignments, he'd been told then no one got out of it, and so perhaps he underestimated this 'Persephone' individual somewhat. As Risa asked for a moment, Lucas watched Roy as he moved outside, turning over to her and sighing as he listened to her, crossing his arms over his chest. "I don't like anything about him or what he's saying, but the inside information is useful, we can't deny that... Better we keep him around rather than turn around the only 'ally' we have at the moment."

Scott Fairburne

Location:AfterDark

Hearing the call for the order, Scott tossed the towel he had been using to clean glasses over his shoulder, setting the glasses down as he went off to get the orders. Usually the waitress would do that part, but she hadn't shown up for work just yet. Heading back into the kitchen he glanced over the staff, the usual bunch of workers, mostly immigrants, focused on their work and not on him. He never really spoke to any of them, and they never really spoke to him, but there was someone out there which wasn't one of the cooks this time.

His gaze settled on the woman with one of the chefs, they were speaking, well, arguing pretty furiously before she spotted him. He watched her as she just stared in his direction for a moment or two before he watched the woman turn and deck the cook across the face before she sprinted out the door. "Hey!" He called out, going to follow after her but stopping at the door, looking down to the cook to help him up. As he did so, he noticed the piece of paper which had dropped from his pocket. Reaching down, he picked it up, glancing over it, he couldn't read any of the writing, it was all Chinese, but there seemed to be a time and date. He took a note of it for now, tucking the note into his pocket before he sighed and went to get back to work.

Moving to get the plates, he made sure the cook was okay before he went to head back out, it was about then everything went nuts. The gunfire started to erupt outside, a few stray bullets flying through the windows and slamming into the bar and the room behind. Scott just dropped the plates, ducking behind the counter as he heard the vehicle speed off and the shots die down, standing up to look around and make sure people were okay. It wasn't the first time he'd been shot at, but he had hoped it wouldn't be happening again. Though, for the time being he quelled his frustration, focusing on those in the bar to make sure they were okay before he went outside, looking over the dead with a solemn frown.
Jackson Tanner

Location:Shuttle

Turning over to the door as it opened, Jackson watched as Atticus wheeled the bomb into the room. Listening to his explanation, he gave a nod and sighed, moving over to look over the weapon. It'd do, for sure, he just hoped it would have a reasonable effect on the Reaver ship, otherwise getting away was going to be a fair ways more difficult. After examining the bomb, he moved to the controls again, getting ready to take it off once the signal was given. It'd be a tight scrape, but not the worst the ship had been through, and that was saying a fair bit.

Leaning forward, he keyed the comms to the cockpit. "Ready to go on your mark, Captain." He said as professionally as he was able, taking a firm hold on the controls as he took in a deep breath, glancing back to the bomb again. It was always moments like this which made him regret the fact that Anisa had decided on a Firefly-class, it was perfect of course for smuggling, but then, there were no weapons on it after all, which complicated things, to say the least.

Gregory Quinn

Location: Bridge

Quinn sneered somewhat at Anisa's comment, watching as the feed cut off, he had always despised the rebellious attitude the independents seemed to cling to, never any respect. Turning his gaze to the Lieutenant, Quinn remained in his general demeanour, an almost uncomforting calm as he left his hands clasped neatly behind his back. "Lieutenant Harper, be ready to follow the Vengeance once it takes off, I will give the Sergeant the order to fire if necessary." He said cooly, looking over to Jahosafat as he spoke up again. Whatever the man was planning, Quinn already hated it, but he wouldn't deny that the man knew reavers, following his plan would have been advantageous.

Sighing as he watched Jahosafat and Foy move off, Quinn turned his gaze back toward Harper. "As the doctor said, have pod D29 ready for eject when he gives his mark." He commented plainly, turning his gaze back out of the viewport before he began to stroll calmly across the bridge, checking every officer at their station, ensuring they were all doing their jobs, slipping back into the military role he'd been missing for a while.
Harry Walsh

Location: Qasr El Nil Barracks

Watching Aziza as they stood there, Harry couldn't help but smile as she spoke to her reasons, he hadn't expected such praise from her, he had made no particular effort to get so close to her, but to know how well she respected him struck a chord with him, one he certainly didn't expect. As he felt her hand cup his cheek, he kept his eyes locked on her own, smiling softly as he nodded his head slowly. "Thank you, Aziza... it means a lot." He said as he watched her, nodding at her suggestion. "Yes, I suppose we shouldn't keep them waiting, and I could definitely use some shut-eye..."

He let out a soft chuckle, turning his gaze over his shoulder and starting to head off with her toward the officer's club where he'd spotted the others head to before. He let her take the lead, preferring to remain her shadow, than to get dragged into any more conversation or what-not, he wanted to just get out of there and to get somewhere he could rest as soon as possible, this had been far too long of a day.

William Drake

Location: Egyptian Museum

William just rolled his eyes as he listened to Vera utter the same sort of thing, denying the affections he was all but certain were there for him. However, his own frustration at her denial was what stopped him from pushing further, though he could tell hers were there, the anger in her voice, the venom to her words. Though really, they just made him all the more certain of the reality of the situation. Moving along with her, he shook his head as he listened to her go on, scoffing audibly at her comment about the Captain.

"Hah! Respect? Please, if that's what you're hoping to get with the Lord Captain, you can look again, I know somebody sleazy when I see them, and the good old 'Lord-Captain' oozes it, trust me, he's probably just interested because of the 'Lady' before your name or your looks, respect is the last thing he cares to give you." He shook his head, at no point did it seem to occur to him that jealousy was what brought the words to his mind. Moving along beside her, he shook his head, considering his words, there was something about the Lord Captain he didn't like, he figured people didn't just show up after missing for years only to be interested in marriage unless they had some motive behind it, well, then again, he didn't know marriage that well.
