@Purfect It's fine. Seems you have been thinking about it and that is what I want. People need to consider if a KG is worth it. Its more or less a decided path your character will take and already decide how the character is going to shape up. Already deciding at the start of a character how they will be formed at the start is tough. Some people notice that their character grows in a different way (due other characters, events and etc) then they had expected. Its just some advice to be cautious with that. :)
I will try to review your character later. Though can already say that I am highly against a mist that can absorb chakra. Maybe we can think of something else
i can understand being against the chakra absorption part, but if i may throw up a defense? ^//^"
The Aburame clan most common insects eat chakra, and some at a higher rate then others. the mist is slower to absorb the chakra, thus the reason its also difficult to detect. understandably the insects dont give the chakra back to the user, but neither does the mist, although a sub ability lets them use the chakra-infused mist in place of water.

when coming up with it originally, i wasn't quite sure what i wanted to do with it (believe me, ive re-written it about 12 times XD) however after deciding on the clans name that i had part of a direction. Here is the Eta clan description, and can hopefully shed some light.
as far as needing it, i guess thats really a matter of opinion really. As much as id like to say i do need it, thats really up to you guys XD

as far as usage, even though its a combat oriented skill, its still mainly defensive in nature.
doubling back on the KG, i guess you can say in a way its almost akin to a taboo in using it. Because of the way the original clan was almost wiped out, its more of a last resort plan. however this adds to character development in the sense that people in Kirigakure generally look down on the Eta clan, adding to Arashis problems getting to know people. If they know he possesses said KG, even more pressure would possibly arise from the general fear of KG (if it still exisits)

@Purrfect Several things there are a no go. Genin only have one Chakra Nature, so either Water or Lightning.To your KG, I am going to have to say a no to the second part.As a Genin, having both Good Chakra Control and Higher Reserves of Chakra are not being accepted by me - either one of them alone will be good. Remember, we are talkng about a Genin here.

Although slow to anger, Arashi went into an uncontrollable rage once when a friend was killed in front of him.
History: Arashi was born and raised in Kirigakure as part of the Eta clan. His parents died shortly after his third birthday under odd circumstances, although no one is sure just what killed them. When Arashio was five, and not as closed and reclusive as he is now. his best friend, Hirame, was killed in front of him during a sleepover that turned into a robbery. He and Hirame had been tortured with blades to try and get information on valuables in the house. When the boys couldn't help they killed Hirame as a lesson and left Arashi to die. Arashi had felt so helpless that he couldn't do anything that he vowed to become stronger and protect those he loves. During a medical examination shortly after the incident, it was discovered that he had a rare condition that made him feel pain at a lower level then most. so much so, that he almost did not feel pain at all. Once he reached the age of 9 and began training to become a ninja, he used this to his full advantage, training well beyond what others would have been able to due to pain or exhaustion and wearing weights hidden in his clothing at all times. One time when he was eleven, he even put himself into the hospital for a few days due to overworking his body to the point of fainting from exhaustion. Growing up he wasn't able to make many friends, and his shy and quiet nature didn't help. Nor the fact that he spent almost all of his time either training or painting. Arashi was determined to raise his skills to the point that he could protect his friends and family without fail. He also holds a deep hatred for the three men that killed his friend, their faces burned into his memory. If he ever would find them he knew they would not get away with what they had done..

(similar to Guy, but not as obvious. usually hidden in leggings, arm-guards, gloves, and weighted sandals.)

*Due to his lack of pain, Arashi tends to take more damage without realizing it, allowing enemies to take him down faster then most others. larger wounds can still cause a noticeable amount of pain however.
*If Arashi's blades are taken from him, his offensive ability drops considerably. most of his jutsus are defense related or stealth related.
Special Traits
*Somewhat higher pool of chakra, not extremely so, but enough to make a noticeable difference. (ex. normal pool of chakra would make a large fireball, and a high level would make a giant fireball, Arashi would be around the middle of the two).

Upon activating with the phrase "Ketsueki kizu" (blood wound) and a self inflicted wound, which can be anything from a slight cut to gash to a missing limb, the user produces a red mist that acts almost identically to hiding in mist. a small portion of the users blood creates the initial mist, which spreads according to the amount of chakra used.
The second ability is that they can use the mist as a substitute for water when using any jutsu that would normally require water, given that there is enough chakra within the mist to use the jutsu.
While using Ketsueki kizu, the blood mist can consume the chakra of anyone within it except the user. it will not do this to others that the user does not wish to drain, but will effect others even if their presence is unknown. this adds to the chakra infused within the mist, allowing it to grow slightly faster. although a draining ability, it is slow enough to be unnoticeable to those affected by it (Ninja with very good chakra control can detect this rather easily, while ninja with large chakra pools are noticeably less able to detect the drain.)
Eta clan members seldom use their Kekkei Genkai unless there is a dire need.

Alice walked out from the city towards her 'zone'. About halfway to her destination chess popped into existence grinning as usual.
"What do you want you cat?" Alice snapped at him.
"temper temper! you'll never get anywhere like that."
"well when it concerns you there's nowhere to be going anyhow." she retorted.
"touche. so what are your plans now then?"
"Go back and look for my artifact as usual. Perhaps have tea with Haddigan..."
Chess rolled through the air as they talked, throwing jibes back and forth in between questions and riddles. At one point she noticed that Chess was wearing a small locket.
"You know, i never would have thought you were one for jewelry, even less so a locket. Whats inside?"
"Ive not a clue. it dost open and Ive no intention on trying anyhow. Not mine to open."
"whos is it then?"
"Not a clue." was all he said before vanishing into thin air, a residual smile fading away.
"well then... Guess ill just have to figure out myself then..." Alice muttered as she reached the giant gate that was the entrance to the wonderful horror. Lifting her blade she simply tapped on the gate and it swung open freely, shutting behind her with a loud clang. Looking around for a moment she thought about the locket, but pushed it aside. She hadn't looked in a few areas yet and that was her first goal. Shed worry about the locket latter.
