Pyce is usually a shadow person within crowds until he trust someone within to begin to talk. He finds comfort in being quiet and taking in the sounds of nature and his surroundings which lets him sit at a table with a group of people and just listen to them converse without needing to talk to feel a part of it. He so keeps his background and personal history hidden from everyone always, as a result he ends up just throwing out a different story each time he is asked.

Pyce grew up on Norathe, but after a few years of a quiet and peaceful life, his brand was seen and his parents had two decisions either let their son be killed or fake his death and send him to Moros to live alone. His parents choose to never see their son again and he has lived on the outskirts of the island traveling in a circle since. He occasionally goes into one of the towns along the coast to get the occasional supplies he needs to survive. Growing up in the wilderness and getting books the he could get his hands on he found his natural affinity for healing magic using it to heal cuts and other injuries he would collect along his way. After nearly 15 years of living on the island people from the towns he occasionally visited started to realize hes not ageing at the same rate as he should be they started to question who and what he is, this lead to him living on longer outings before returning back into a town. Today he is trying to leave Moros and go somewhere where he can restart his life again and hopefully blend quietly into the community and be forgotten.

Pyce’s brand is on the center of his back located between his shoulder blades, this location of his brand allowed him to keep it hidden relatively easily, but he still wears a scarf to ensure that no one can approach him from behind and see the brand below his shirt collar.
