Also as a big golom con, healing type magic won't work on them.
Suggestions for golems
pros: highly resistant to magic, high resilience (instsad of high defense), and I'd say make them stronger than goblins (magical beasts of labor, they should be extremely strong), don't need any subsidence for survival or slep, and they can survive in much harsher conditions than living people.
cons: extremely slow (instead of lazy, and makes up for strength), magic drain is like life force drain on them.
I suppose we could have a shotgun, it'd have to be a muzzle loading blackpowder device with a high chance of blowing up in your face, or you could settle with a crossbow.

Oh and I really like Alheira, she is like the protection goddess of the desert people.

Yah she's not one to like people claiming territory, she prefers nomadic people who just go where the wind takes them.

Also the gods wont fight mortals in bodily form. And I actually meant it when I said we don't need more gods.I think the god of madness is one god to much. Also some gods should finally be finished.

Can we run both a god and a nation? (also any notes on Alheira?)

I'll do a northern nation that has very little to do with my goddess if it's ok, I've actually played an RP a while back where the players were both nations and gods which lead to various combinations of interaction from completely separate to a god sitting on a throne (that or it was a demi-god).

That's what you think...

You'd need to distract Alhiera (changed her name slightly and major overhaul of her CS) somehow so she wouldn't be able to set the elements against you first, if not your invasion force will be effectively slaughtered by the desert and the further in you go the more problems with supply lines you're going to have. (There's naturally also the problem of heat, which has adverse affects on humans, animals, and war equipment and not to metion the nasty sandstorms which hot with little warning)
With the use of his ability Garrick essentially 3D prints his stuff with the main difference being that he can do just about any material, allowing him to make things without a lot of the little bits.

In the matter of guns he primarily uses sniper rifles, however he also uses assault rifles as well genuinely single shot but will use auto for cover fire. Since all his guns are made by him they're very hard to break, jam or over heat and have a greater efficiency over regular mass produced, in short his stuff's just a whole lot better quality than what you're going to find just about anywhere else.

His surburban is essentially a light tank from the future since the walls and windows can withstand anything short of a few anti-tank rounds (unfortuanly in super human terms that's often very small). Aside from it's armor its got a light turret which is concealed on top which does a transformers like unfolded before going all out dakka dakka, and it's got over 180 degrees of direction it can shoot in and a hefty amount of ammo (its got a limit on spinning in circles since it's essentially backpack fed). The truck is powered by a small nuclear fusion generator, also naturally has an electric motor, and due to its massive weight its got heavy duty suspension and wheels tucked away in the very normal looking truck (nothing actually looks heavy duty they're just stronger alloys than tyoical stuff).

Despite being a salesman and scientist he only sells stuff just ahead of the curve so he's not selling any fusion reactors (and therefore bombs) yet.
I made their fairy origin a bit more pronounced (the summer court type).

I'll probably brainstorm up a few other race ideas, how much very original stuff (ex: your goats) and how much typical stuff (thine goblins) an a rough ratio are you wanting?
Spellborn sounds like a fun race (hehehe).

And ideas on the elves:
pros:
-fastest and most agile race
-excellent hand-eye coordination
-able to do minor healing, plant or animal magic (pick one) (basically heal minor injuries, talk with plants or talk with animals)
-Not affected by illusion magic, and resistance to sleeping magic
cons:
-Highly squishy
-highly noble/chivalrous
-they're highly self righteous
-can't lie
-hold promises to the word

A katana has no previous use in the Stargate Universe. They're undeniably cool, but they're not truly superior to other swords of high-quality materials (despite what certain parts of the Internet want you to think). Even if someone should own one (which is not entirely unlikely) they wouldn't have it as part of their regular uniform. If they're Japanese, it could feasibly be part of a dress uniform, but as others have said, swords are no longer part of regular field combat. Of the likely options, if your character is an officer, he or she might have a Katana on a display in his/her quarters. (S)he might even know how to use it. (everyone has hobbies after all)That being said, a fancy weapon shouldn't be the focus of your character design. No matter how you put it, a weapon is a minor detail. What you should think more on is everything else about your character.

Actually I've put quite a lot of thought into other parts just the whether or not I could have a Katana was a question I was asking, he'll just have one out of reach at home.
