The King of Fighters tournament was over.
It had ended with a monster, and an explosion, and by most accounts Kyo Kusanagi and his friends showing once again why they kept ending up the center of so many world-spanning schemes. And now in the aftermath there were strange things happening; reports from all over the world of people who were gone suddenly being back.
Or people who never existed, suddenly being there.
And as always, there were rumblings and rumors of a new KoF tournament, looming somewhere over the horizon.
What this means to you will vary. Are you one of the many long-time participants in the tournament, ready and willing to test yourself against whatever challenges the next iteration may present? Have you been before, and are thinking of returning to the fray?
Or are you a new challenger? Looking to show the world what you can do against the very best it has to offer?
Or are you one of the ones once forgotten, ready to step back onto the stage?
The premise is pretty much what you see above. You are a character in the King of Fighters universe – either an established one, or a new one you make for yourself. Given that the setting belongs to a fighting game, I will have to think of a way to mediate combat, but for now I'm just checking on interest!
