After smiling at the passer-bys and thanking them for their congratulations, Lucian looked over the lake to the town and shook his headat the design Why on earth would you place the businesses at the lower levels of the town? If they were to flood it would be disastrous! Only an idiot would buy a business in this town. After reflecting on the towns poor business design choices Lucian approached one of the canoes, before entering however he returned houndour to his pokeball "Something tells me it's best I use venipede against any pokemon in this area.." he muttered.

After entering the canoe Lucian began to gingerly row towards Lakewatch, however half-way towards the town his curiosity got the better of him. Who knew what he could find in these waters? True, it may be a challenge to capture due to his current team but if all goes well it will be worth the risk. Making his decision, Lucian turned left and began carefully peeking over the edge of the canoe as he searched for any potential pokemon.

Oh, hey. 500th post, shortly after the 1 year mark. Fun. Haha.

Val'vath

The lycan was shrouded in his black robe and hunched as he approached the castle and the encampment of soldiers guarding it. He had spent the last several weeks of his journey south in this state, a hunched cloaked figure was less likely to draw any attention to himself. As he found himself face to face with the soldiers guarding the bridge, one of the soldiers guarding the bridge went to approach him, likely to warn him off. A forgivable mistake; he had concealed himself well and the voidcaller doubted these guards were expecting a 'knight' to have his current stature. Val'vath removed his hood and rose to his full height, the sound of arthritic bone creaking and moving to support his weight was audible as he did. "I have been summoned here by Lancelot. Now let me pass" he said to the guard. After the guard removed himself from his path he continued on his way, snapping at one of the more uneasy men as he passed them.

After a painfully slow journey across the bridge and through the castle, Val'vath found his way to the chamber he was to meet his new allies, with a quiet grunt of effort he pushed the doors open to reveal the chamber. The first thing the lycan noticed was the feast laid out on the table, he had been feeding off the blistered, uncooked corpses of the creatures he had killed over the past several weeks so real food was a delight to see. The old lycan found a seat quickly and shuffled to it, conveniently close to a large selection of meat. He grabbed what he could only assume to be a chicken wing and devoured it in several bites, bone and all. He reasoned it was only polite to eat some of what had been offered...and the lycan had not had any decent food in weeks.

After eating his quick meal, the lycan examined his new associates. Obviously there was no shortage of humans, they seemed to be everywhere down south, although the variety intrigued him; he had not seen a human child before journeying south so to see one at the table was odd to him. Then there were the other races; a goblin flanked by several orcs had arrived shortly before him and seemed to be inspecting the room as he had, he also noted the large beast helping himself to the feast. The lycan decided he would do the same, albeit to a lesser degree, and begin picking at the various meats around him with rather shaky clawed hands. He watched the room with curiosity as he did; no doubt the Gods had a purpose to serve in their grand plan, whether they knew it or not.
@PlatinumSkink I think I'll just avoid the confrontation all together, if Dawkin or Martin noticed he was escorting the ducklett it would probably start questions Lucian would like to avoid.

Lucian followed houndour along to the location of the pokemon his companion had caught the scent of. When he arrived by the slowpokes, his face fell. The trainer looked at the slowpokes, then to houndour, then to the slowpokes again "No." He said shortly before turning back the way they came, with houndour and ducklett following close behind. Houndour was looking back almost apologetically at the slowpokes.

When the group reached the crossroads again he moved towards the exit and muttered under his breath to himself "Maybe we can actually get out the cave this time and not have to backtrack to save a ducklett.."

@PlatinumSkink sorry haven't really made many actual posts recently because my laptop died. Again. I'll try to get something up soon.
@AbysmalDemon alright thanks, I shall start working on my guy (and his trio of lackeys) asap.
I'm interested in this and I want to pull out an antagonist that I've had for awhile now but never actually got to use but I've got a few questions beforehand.

1. This is the big thing I'm sorta wondering, as a more antagonistic character would you be making up your own schemes and plans or would GMs be supplying them with things (contracts and stuff) to help push the plot. I'm happy with either but I just want to know before I get involved.

2. Are characters expected to be at a similar power level or is it just "Don't be OP"? I'm assuming the power level can vary but I'd like to check anyway.

@dragonmancer okay I've edited my CS to include the changes you've asked for.
