"Oh don't worry hon, it's definitely mutual," Kejirah shrugged, smirking at Damien and his impatient ass, repositioning herself on the couch to make herself more comfortable, spreading out further as more people made their way into the living room, and in her opinion, rudely demanding to get a move on and leave. She wasn't one for waiting, but being ordered to do something that she was going to do in the first place, whether it was directly said or not, well...it made her just a smidge irritated, but she guessed she could let it slide. For now anyway. But as of now, sugar loaded coffee that could probably severely unbalance her blood sugar levels sounded like an amazing idea because she was a dangerous girl, and dangerous girls do dangerous things, also because it was summer and she honestly didn't give a fuck. Honestly.

Though as soon as Aria and Aulora brought up their mode of transportation, Kejirah quickly stood up and made a dramatic gasping noise, placing a hand on her hip. "I'm actually kind of offended! Like, of course I'm driving, I mean, who else is better suited than me, a responsible, law abiding citizen who obviously drives one mile under the speed limit and not anything above that? Can't think of anyone? Didn't think so. SO, on that note, lemme go grab my keys," the young woman said before quickly walking back to her room, feeling around on her bed for the familiar object as she had to toss up a few pillows before finding them. "FOUND 'EM," she hollered to the group, and while on her way out, she managed to catch something about a party Bradley was going to throw.

Poking her head around the corner just in time, she asked, "Hmm, a party? Attractive women? Count me in, I'm down. And you said it was tonight? Bet. Now I've got somethin' to look forward to." Sitting on the arm of the couch this time, she held up her keys and smiled.

"Y'all bitches ready to go to Starbucks? Oh, and don't disrespect Satan, he's a God, remember that, 'cause he will."

@Sewer Rat Nah, it's totally fine👌
Awesome! I can get the character sheet up soon-ish, probably a little later today

¿Where Are We¿

Welcome to Riverway

An old roadside sign says as you drive slowly by, passing through a small, isolate town nearly in the middle of nowhere in direction of the cabin you and a few others were staying in. The flyer definitely made it look more appealing. This town was nearly empty, it probably wasn't but it sure seemed that way; only a few straggling faces here and there, curiously looking your way as the car drove by, their heads turning as their eyes followed the car. Its buildings were worn down, and not to mention the condition of the roads, which were seriously haphazardous, someone could get hurt, but this was Spring Break, and honestly, getting away from society sounded nice. The cabin, as you had found out earlier, was miles out of town, surrounded by a thick pine forest and a misty cover that hopefully cleared out soon, but other than the creepy, perfect-scene-for-a-horror-movie town and the forest that only enhanced that feel, it was perfect for a getaway with friends. Isolated. No authorities. Freedom. Trouble was definitely bound to stir up. But it was perfect.

A tiny, mysterious town with few, but odd residents, Riverway is home to the infamous Pine Forest, eerie is just one word to describe it, though fascinating. Mist covers the forest floor during a large portion of the year, but sometimes, on rare occasions, it does clear out, revealing a large and beautiful lake that glistens under the sun; tall and ancient pine trees, some of them containing hearts with the initials of past lovers carved in them, serving as memories to the residents; and the town certainly brightens up as the local diner is much more lively and known for its to die for food.

But like the mist that hangs around, the mysterious town is shrouded in rumors, whispers, and conspiracies. There are more than a few abandoned buildings with the phrase “Bring Them Back” graffitied in large letters all around the town with small piles of dead flower bouquets under them. Posters and flyers scattered around on boards through the area talk about alien sightings and masked murderers, and old news articles mentioning disappearances of random tourists and other nameless people. Riverway definitely has a dark history that only few know about, and perhaps it's better that way.

And not only that, to those few who've been here for some time know that the forest seems to have a mind of its own. The isolation and the stillness of life around it causes a sense of paranoia over time, making people see and hear things that aren't there, and slowly tearing down the mind's emotional defenses leading to fight or flight responses and mental breakdowns. Common sense, trust, and realistic thinking slowly dissipate as tension heightens in a seemingly exponential manner. Or so it is rumored. But hey, it's Spring Break bitches.

Nobody...

Rules
__________
-For the basics, I would like posts to be at least 2-3 paragraphs
-Of course, everyone has lives other than this, but please post a once or twice a week please
-There will be plenty of drama within the roleplay, so keep it in there, thanks
-As for the one above: Drama is e n c o u r a g e d, along with characters who have some type of emotional baggage. It helps me with the plot more

Actually nevermind, I don't think I'll have the time to manage two characters along with my other roleplays
