Two-Thirds looked up from his neat rows of tea ingredients upon being called to attention by the queen. Immediately, his lips is spreading into another pleasant smile and voice finding a polite refusal for her kindness. All was abruptly stopped when his eyes fall on the small crease of annoyance between her brows. The smile took a little effort to maintain, and his voice found something else entirely, "Thank you for your kindness," The nobody thanked the queen. Despite his words, Two-Thirds finished the blend in his hands with two dried gummy flowers and handed the tea pot to Skitz and took a seat across from Leila and Harper.

He nodded a greeting towards the humans and helped himself to a piece of shortcake. Barely halfway through his cake, Two-Thirds looked up to find another human joining the party. She looked more than willing to finish the platter of short cakes, including Two-Third's half a cake. However, it quickly revealed that her actual target was the brownies. "Good day," He greeted.

The nobody continued to make his way through the rest of his cake in a leisurely pace, now that his cake is not in immediate danger. After he was finished with the cake, Two-Thirds helped himself a crepe that he overheard Harper recommended while keeping attention on the Queen's words.

"Do any of you have questions? If you do, now is the time to ask."
Queen is offering humans an opportunity for questions. Of course, Two-Thirds has no place in this particular conversation, so he fed himself a piece of neatly cut crepe.

"Our guides knew those criminals. Who are they?"
That was when the nobody almost choked on the piece of food. He took a prompt sip of tea.

Why yes, maybe some berries in this would be great.
Queen Delirium's castle was the place Two-Thirds was second-most familiar with, if we exclude his tea garden or lump it in the same ranking with his tea house. The queen is lovely. No only because she was a fan of his tea, she was generally a very nice queen who was a fan of his tea. Not only does Two-Thirds often makes exclusive services to the queen's castle to freshly blend tea for her, her wishes accounts for his trips down the tree a high percentage of 3.75 blue rainbows of the trips.

Today was no exception. Two-Thirds stood by the small table behind and slightly to the right of the queen with a pleasant smile set into his features. The table was lined with two rows of small tin containers, with each container engraved with a different design on its surface and its respective lids beside each container. Inside each container is dried coloured leaves, flowers, spices, and fruits and a small spoon. Although Two-Thirds can pinch the amounts he wants more accurately with his nails than using the spoon, he dared not to perform such a disrespectful act to the Queen's tea. Instead, he demonstrated surprising dexterity in manoeuvring the small spoon with his long nails.

Two-Thirds layered the materials into a special gradient and then filled boiled water into the tea pot. He handed the pot to Schizophrenia.

"Spring," he introduced with the same smile.

He was glad that there's still plenty of humans left from the last adventure. It would certainly be a shame if there are less humans to taste his tea, wouldn't it? Speaking of humans, he wondered how the other group was doing. The nobody heard that they went to the cake shop. Hearing that, he wasn't too worried. Mr. Cuddles makes spectacular cakes. Not only does Two-Thirds sometimes order a little of his (cut) goods for his shop, he also enjoys the occasional cake (that he cut himself, because oh, who doesn't enjoy cutting cakes?).
Collab between Fox and Rabbit

Everything in the town of Yonder felt wrong. Serenade was far from psychic, but her gut told her the place was just bad news. Everything from the lake to the mayor just felt bad...but why it felt that way she couldn't understand at all. It was an illogical fear, silly considering she always tried to find reason in things.

"Serenade, mind if I join you?"

Suddenly, she felt a hand on her shoulder and it made her freeze. The chilly fog and the near death situation the humans had gotten into had made her jumpier than usual. She took in a breath of air then turned around to see Two-Thirds smiling. "Oh, it's just you." She returned the smile, though the look of worry didn't leave her face. Something wasn't right, did the other guides feel it too? Did the humans know? Why had they marched towards the lake like zombies...what did the siren tempt them with? There were too many unanswered questions and they irritated the black hare to no end. "It's rather cold out, you should follow the others..." there was a pause, "but I'll need all the help I can get, so thank you."

The black rabbit nodded her head then made her way through the fog, she made sure to keep Mado in her sights, but it was harder to keep up than she had imagined and soon the two guides found themselves just outside Mayor Spicy Tuna's house. Serenade shook her head. "Whatever mischief she's up to, we need to stop her. Let's go, two." Mado hid in a giant pot and Serenade decided to play along, she pulled two by the hand and they ducked behind a bush, as soon as Mado thought the coast was clear she hopped stepped out of the pot and jumped into the mayors window.

Serenade cursed beneath her breath. "She's a little unstable, Two. We'll need to stop her before anyone gets hurt."

The two guides dashed towards the glass window only to see Mado, waving a knife threateningly at the mayor. Why were the humans she got stuck with the crazy and unreasonable ones.

"What on earth?" The Mayor's eyes grew twice their size and he eyed the knife with a frown. This girl was insane. "Where are the guides and are they with you? How on earth did you get in here?"

Two-Thirds nodded at Serenade's directions and followed her to duck behind a bush. It has made him uneasy that the black rabbit is in so much visible discomfort at the situation but decided that the current situation at hand is more important. Serenade said that Mado is unstable and after all they just can't let the mayor become a dish by the mercy of a blade.

(sushi or sashimi?)

Two-Thirds blinked. Mado has somehow entered the the mayor's house in an oddly heroic fashion before the nobody can come up with a counteraction. Before he could dash into the house, Mado's second question caught his attention. It clicked something in Two-Thirds into place and restored his composure.

(Tell me what you know about the drowning, or be turned to a dish of your choice.)

At the moment, Two-Thirds tugged Serenade to a halt and they both stumbled down to duck under the window pane. The Nobody put a single claw lightly to the black rabbit's lips with a furtive smile and a glance towards the house's interior. We'll see what the mayor would do to save himself. Two-Thirds is positive, even if Mado were to go a little too far, they would stop her in time.

A look of confusion crossed the black rabbit's features before she finally understood what Two was trying to do. So they would let Mado scare the mayor then learn as much as they could, huh? The tea maker was much more devious than she thought. At first the plan seemed a little cruel, and Mado was well unpredictable and unstable. However, they would need information and anything involving the drowning was bound to be crucial, right?

"Listen, human. Get that thing away from my face. I don't know anything about the drowning. I only know it's caused by some wretched siren. Now out with you, please." He glared at the human and waved a fin in the door's direction. "Tomorrow I plan to speak with your guides, but for now, please leave."

The black rabbit didn't know what Mado would do, but she kept her head low and listened. Two-Thirds was relieved that Serenade did not struggle to provide the mayor protection. Nonetheless, he stayed alerted.
“Two-thirds, I also brought some tea leaves of my own, so if it’s a bit of comfort we can share losses today,” The item hunter called out behind him, stepping out of his comfort zone to get everyone to move.

Two-Thirds looked away from Jasper to see Songbird approaching them. He resisted a chuckle upon hearing the offer from the item hunter. Despite how his attitude my come across as harsh at times, he was very kind after all. The shop owner acknowledged the other's offer with a smile that cracked a little wider than his usual polite ones and a slight incline of his head. "Thank you, mister Song," He said with polite gratitude. Two-Thirds's smile faltered slightly when he looked off afterwards, breaking eye-contact with Songbird. Mado has made no response to the offer. Although Two-Thirds was not worried, that raised a slight concern in him, just like when customers would enter the shop complaining about the cold weather and Two-Thirds would think about his tea leaves.

A small laugh distracted Two-Thirds from his thoughts while on the way back. The laugh was rather insensitive - he noted-, the rules of basic social decorum would rule it so. However, he said nothing against it but rather watched the laugh evoke one of Serenade's rare outbursts. And so the Nobody spaced out for a brief moment, caught in the surprise at her irritation. When he has returned to his senses, Two-Thirds took a larger stride and stopped in front of Jasper. He bent down his knees slightly to reduce the distance between them. "I'm sorry your question didn't get answered. Frankly, I don't know the answer and I am not positive that the f-mayor knows it. I'm sure, though, we'll find out soon," He cracked a gentle smile, "Now if you will excuse me."

He stepped away in Serenade's direction. On his way, he nodded acknowledgements towards Martini and Brandy before walking deeper into the fog. It was until after he couldn't see the others that he saw the black rabbit's silhouette. He approached the figure and lay a hand lightly on her shoulder. "Serenade, mind if I join you?" He smiled politely.
Two-Thirds swallowed a sigh and replaced it with a smile. The situation made him queasy. He tried not to let his smile clench into place. As if to distract himself, he found his claws scratching and digging into his palm, which would be uncomfortable, and a later hinderance in making tea. Finally, he gave up and diverted from the small crowd facing Spicy Tuna. He excused himself with a polite nod and a smile, and stepped away with left steps that barely left a crunch on the mud(?). On his way, he approached Jasper, who asked Spicy a question. She will not receive an answer. Two-Thirds has no doubt that Spicy does not know the answer himself. He found the fish slightly irksome, but he doesn't want to do anything about the gnawing he felt.

He smiled at Jasper, now that he was not facing the mayor smiling was easier. "Up for a cup of tea? I know just what's best for now. My treat," He offered, both tea and distraction.

Mayor Spicy Tuna turned to look at Two-Thirds. Wait...tea? Two-thirds? Wasn't he the famours tea shop owner back in Nowhere's square. No wonder he looked familiar! What on earth was he doing in Yonder? The mayor gaped at the two for a few moments before giving all the humans and Two-Thirds a smile. "That's a jolly good idea! Tea will warm you humans up and make sure none of you catch your death of cold." He nodded his head at the winged guide. "Smart idea...I hope you manage to warm everyone up." He placed a fin on Jasper's shoulder but retracted it when the smell of swamp water reached his nose.

Instead, mayor spicy tuna slapped Two-Thirds ont he back, stealthily wiping the swamp water on the guide's dry clothes. "Good, good," he tried to smile kindly, but it was clear in the fishes' eyes that he didn't like the guides or humans. "Okay, now, off with you. Get some tea and rest, Two-thirds makes a grand cup of tea, so go, go."

Two-Thirds blinked once in surprise both when Spicy broadcasted his offer to everyone and when Spicy patted him on the back. Spicy's hand lingered and Two-Thirds suppressed a shudder of his own. His smile faltered ever-so-slightly when he realized that his offer of tea was being extended to a greater crowd. Although he has indeed brought tea for the humans and nobodies on the trip, he sells tea for a living nonetheless. He sells them, not give them out for free! Now that the offer has been extended, his tea will run out sooner. But what else can he do?

The mayor stared at the tense looking guide. "Um, I suggest you all get going if you stay out here the humans will freeze to death." He gave the guides a sickeningly sweet smile as if saying that the human's health and safety were their problems and not his. He just wanted a good name and the queen's graces. He looked at the shivering humans and Iro who was coughing and shivering like a leaf. The magician was obviously sick already. The mayor yawned then slapped Two-Thirds on the back again. "Well, I'll be resting for the now...if you want to linger by the lake then do what you want, but I am a busy man." He eyed the guides once more then walked off disappearing into the fog.

Two-Thirds felt eyes on himself, and reluctantly looked up at the mayor. He later glanced over at the humans at the notice that the notice of their wellbeing. The fish, for once, has a point. All of the miniscule fondness vanished as he felt the fin on his back again. Two-Thirds turned too quickly to look at the mayor who was quick to excuse himself. "Rest well," Two-Thirds bid his farewell with a nod and a smile before turning back to back to the humans. He noticed Mado, who was walking off on her own. "Mado, tea?" He smiled.

Serenade noticed how Two-Thirds was trying to help and smiled. She turned to Songbird, Martini and Brandy then looked at the shivering humans. "We should go get them inside." The black rabbit nodded at her fellow guides then walked off to pull Iro and Harper along. She'd leave the others to the trio and Two-Thirds.
