Welcome anyone and everybody who took interest in the title, I haven't been able to find a solid RP for a little while now. So I've decided to try and create the best idea I could based on things I like and find someone who also might enjoy it. I may consider making this a small group RP depending on the interest but that's only an if. I enjoy being able to create a decent cast of characters and making a universe feel "full" of places and people, events, things and all that jazz. I prefer a little more than a few paragraphs, but nothing too advanced or hefty. I'm typically 'methodical' which is somewhat an excuse to admit I am slow to reply especially if things occur in life, but usually 1-3 days which is why I also enjoy a meatier length post. Without further delay and because most people skipped reading the intro anyway, I'll move onto my idea:
Long ago the Riduko sage conquered the ten tails demon and with the last moments of his life tore its power into hundreds of individual fragments. These fragments of pure chakra had a desire to live on their own and created beings liken to animals found in nature imbued with god-like powers. As of now an estimated 360 exist on the world but there are possibly more to see, ever since these beings came to light Shinobi have sought out their power aiming to use them as weapons. Each generation fails and the next picks off where they left off always with the same intent, to abuse these creatures and their unnatural abilities.
Now to break this down, there would be no canon villages but the clans and countries themselves stand. Daimyos who govern each country hire various Ninja clans (and occasionally samurais) to act as their military. Clans each have their own respective villages filled with common citizens and possibly other Ninja clans they share mutual friendship with. Since there are over 700 Pokemon, most of these are evolutions which is why only about 360 exist, I would like to exclude some outlandish type (Porygon, Ditton, Electrode, Rotom) and deny us access to legendaries although some may still come up as NPCs.
