Current Some events have happened in my life which has driven me to decide between leaving or staying here. I've decided to leave. I will no longer be on this site to roleplay. I may come back as Rae Zerg .

Well, my Father was in the ER after throwing up blood today. Apparently an ulcer burst and now he can't eat anything more than soup. I'll be home for the next two days off of work though.

Just spent the last four hours bringing sheetrock into my house and helping my father place it on the ceiling and walls of one of our rooms. Everything hurts.

Liam looked around in amazement at the city of Regala and capital of the Sengun region. It was such a large city and, even though Platinos was large, it was larger than any city he had been in. Then again, Liam hadn't been in many cities in his life since he had rarely left Platinos. His SailFlight had been rather uneventful except for a fight nearly breaking out but it had been interrupted quickly and the ship arrived early in the morning at Regala's station. Since then, Liam had been wandering through Regala looking at the myriad of shops and tourist wandering about quite like him. There were so many more people than he was use to seeing and they were just as varied as the food street vendors were selling. Liam's stomach growled after having walked what he thought had to be at least four miles and he decided to go to one of the park's in the city.

The small park Liam had decided to stop at was beautiful with trainers and their pokemon running all around. There was also the occasional warrior training the park but they were doing nothing more than working out. It had been a while since Liam had left Platinos but he had let Spalder out every day no matter what. As such, he pressed the small button on his pokeball and Spalder appeared in a flash of light. Like other denhun's, Spalder saw Liam as his pack leader and, as such, Liam often had to keep Spalder close so that he didn't get into trouble. "Are you hungry little guy? I'm pretty hungry I can tell ya that much. I'm going to make us both a meal so don't worry about it." Liam said to Spalder as he withdrew his ponigiri kit and one of the packs of ingredients he had in his pack. With ease, Liam prepared a meal of ponigiri for himself and Spalder to eat. Spalder set upon his small meal like a rabid puppyre on a piece of meat that had been thrown at him. Liam just casually ate his meal while watching the cute little electric type. Both finished their meals and Liam repacked all the supplies into his pack and stood up. "Alright, come here Spalder. This city has lots of big crowds and I am not taking a chance on you getting lost." Liam said as he picked up his little pokemon.

It was easy for Liam to find his way to center of the city where three building sat. He knew all of them without even looking at the signs with their names. They were the Palace of Regala, Victory Tower, and Ilex Laboratories with the first two begin rather tall and magnificent and the third building being shorter but had a tree growing on it's roof. It was rather odd for the lab to have an oak tree growing on its roof but Liam knew better than to question what some people do. Ilex Laboratories was Liam's destination as he still had to register for the League but he couldn't help but gawk at the other buildings. Upon walking into the lab, Liam noticed that there were several others that had arrived here before him. "Sir, what can I help you with?" called a receptionist in the lobby to Liam.

Liam walked forward to the desk with Spalder resting on his duffle bag. "I'm here to sign up for the the League. I already have a pokemon but I still need a pokedex. My name is Liam, L-I-A-M, Hamne, H-A-M-N-E." Liam said to the man.

"Alright, you can take a seat as we wait for any more Trainers." the recptionist responded to Liam. Liam walked away from the desk and took a seat away from msot of the others. Spalder shifted slightly in his sleep as Liam moved him off of the pack and set him on his lap.
I'll be working a character sheet for most of tomorrow. Too tired from my job training today to really write anything but I have a good chunk of time before I go back in tomorrow at five(Central time).
If y'all wish to move on, you can. I have a good chunk of time before I got to work at five tomorrow so I'll work on writing a post then but I probably won't be around for another five hours after that as it is a 5-10 shift(Central time).
I'll throw my interest into this.

*Rolls in on a baneling*

I am most certainly interested. I got a feeling that some of the inspiration might have been from Bloodborne from the first few sentences.

How long has it been since they last posted?

They posted about an hour ago. Been active but hasn't done anything in this thread for a long time.
I've been waiting for @Inertia to post already. If he/she doesn't post in the next few days after this than I'm going to continue on without him.
I personally don't think genetics have anything to do with being gay. I wouldn't say that my genetics made me pansexual as much as I would say my Father's genetics made him straight. If Homosexuality was a gene, I don't think I would exist at all. It would be a gene which, in the eyes of natural selection, is completely useless. A man and a woman can have a child but a man and a man can't unless it is adopted. For natural selection, the idea of keeping a gene like homosexuality simply would have been worthless. My belief is that nature gave us the instinct to keep our bloodline going. What nature didn't account for was something that it had never seen before, Choice.

Humans are, as far as we have researched, the first animal on Earth that has seemingly given itself a Choice on who we want to be with. Every other animal on Earth acts on instinct but Humans have something they don't have. If we face a path leading down a dark road and one leading down a bright road, we have the choice to go down whichever road we want. A normal creature would go down the bright path, it does seem like the safest path by instinct. I chose to be a pansexual, which wasn't as easy as many people think. I could have easily determined I'm gay or straight but I chose to be a pansexual. But choosing your preference isn't something to be easily done. Some say it requires experimentation to truly figure out, others say you were raised to be that way. Me, I say that you have to figure out for yourself. For me, I spent hours wondering if I was truly straight.

By all standards of psychology I would be considered straight so I was. But, I knew that I didn't solely love women. Hell, I had know for a long time that I had feelings for a rather handsome boy in one of my classes when I began high school. Like a fool, I hid this and convinced myself that I am straight but, when I chose to be a pansexual this year, I accepted that I liked males as much as I liked females. But I felt that, if I can like females as much as males then would it really be as big of a gap to jump to the conclusion that I would be fine with dating a transsexual? I found that the answer was no. Did genetics force me to chose pansexual rather than anything else? Did society pressure me into it? No is my answer. I had chosen to be pansexual because I knew that I couldn't care less about what one's gender is so long as I knew I loved the person. Genetics had nothing to do with my decision and society, while it may effect others, had no effect on me. Society didn't tell me I had to be pansexual, I did.

The idea that genetics made someone gay or their parents raised them to be gay is a scapegoat from a time when being gay wasn't acceptable and, like mdk says, it is a very weak argument when you are an adult. We live in a time that is growing far more out of its comfort zone. A hundred or so years ago, our society didn't accept or even recognize homosexuality as something that could be normal. In fact, if I remember correctly here, homosexuality use to be believed a mental disease which you would be sent to a hospital to correct. The last generation and our current generation(the one I am a part of) has been forcing change upon our norms. In future generations, I'd venture to say that homosexuality is far more normal and acceptable than it is now. Will it be more easily found than heterosexuality? Probably not but another generation may face a change where heterosexuality and homosexuality have been replaced for bisexuality where a man or woman can love both genders and it would be completely normal. But, that is only if society learns to accept every sexuality without limitations. At least marriage equality is now a thing in the US which means we are probably on the right path.

And posted. Hope you are fine with some interacting before hand. Just sort of natural for somebody who can use a glider to fly through the sky to notice something in the water going towards the White Lotus camp.
