She felt sick to her stomach at the possibility, but also knew that if this was possible, then she should do all she could to save some lives. Almost as if in reaction to her thoughts, Re felt a pulse in her arm, looking down to see the lines light up for just a split second, as if agreeing with her.

Everyone in the apartment has been on a Skyrim binge so fights for the controller have broken out. And we also realized the controllers are so old they are dying.

Well, I'll be gone for the night! Have to get up early to babysit, so I will go to sleep at 11PM instead of 2AM. Like a responsible adult of my age.

Rae is just a constantly bored person who is trying to figure out life. She is currently struggling to make ends meet, and spends a majority of her time applying for jobs that never call for an interview or contemplating how she ended up such a terrible excuse for an adult. Rae also enjoys spending her time writing, and one day hopes to get enough money for college so that she may get a business degree and finally get her life on the right track.
Also of note is that Rae is a whiny diaper baby, and should most likely be ignored and avoided at all costs. In fact she is crying right now, fucking hell she is pitiful.

Instead of even breathing, Rae's breath stopped at the sight. Once she got her breathing back, Rae gasped out, "If this is real, are we supposed to fight this?"
She looked down at her arm, making a fist and watching the designs ripple with her muscle's movement. "I'm not totally crazy, right?"

Thanks! Yea for some reason I liked the idea of only three tails. While certainly powerful, she still has a lot to learn. Instead of how kitsune gain tails by age and honor, she gains a tail if she...I guess gets to the next 'level' of her power. I may have her gain a tail or two in the RP, but to start she has only three.
minus the tiny baby kitsune. I also have one that shows off her dress better. And I was thinking she only has three tails.
Kae concentrated on her footing, and kept her senses open to any danger.
"You're human, you don't know what it's like to have half your mind in tune with nature, hearing it die underneath the growth of civilizations." Kae stopped short at a snapping twig, but realized it was just a squirrel scurrying in the underbrush. She began to walk again, and continued whispering, "Luckily, the human part of me makes it possible to live without nature, but it isn't fun. I will admit though, I'm glad I don't have to live underwater like my mother. Seaweed is slimy."
She held her hand up and went still and silent, straining her ears to listen. A distant scream could be heard. "Looks like I was right about bandits."

"Holy...." Rae's eyes widened as the gunfire began, but she quickly replied to the cashier, "Star?! There was a star in my dream last night, and it said stuff about fighting those things!!!!" Rae gestured madly at the TV. "But that's....impossible!" Her breathing began to pick up, almost entering hyperventilation territory.

NOOOOO! We can TOTALLY have two! Plus, I was only going to do Illusion and ignore the fire aspect completely, so our characters will be different! I just hope our reference pictures aren't the same ahha.
@RaeoftheLightSounds like you're really going to be digging deep for this guardian. I can't wait to see how it turns out :)
Also, in regards to what the guardian really is... You can call it whatever you want really. Guardian, spirit, ghost, yokai. It's really all the same concept to me, just different places have different names for them and I do believe a kitsune falls under yokai xD
Hmmm, okay! I just plan on giving it a.....creative interpretation instead of following the lore completely. Anyway, I will be eagerly awaiting the start of a thread.
