Everyone in the apartment has been on a Skyrim binge so fights for the controller have broken out. And we also realized the controllers are so old they are dying.

Well, I'll be gone for the night! Have to get up early to babysit, so I will go to sleep at 11PM instead of 2AM. Like a responsible adult of my age.

Bio

Rae is just a constantly bored person who is trying to figure out life. She is currently struggling to make ends meet, and spends a majority of her time applying for jobs that never call for an interview or contemplating how she ended up such a terrible excuse for an adult. Rae also enjoys spending her time writing, and one day hopes to get enough money for college so that she may get a business degree and finally get her life on the right track.
Also of note is that Rae is a whiny diaper baby, and should most likely be ignored and avoided at all costs. In fact she is crying right now, fucking hell she is pitiful.

Rae gulped at the sight of all the abandoned cars. It reminded her of those zombie flicks, about the end of the world and how people had to run for their lives. Getting out, she looked at Jim and contemplated.

"Um....bat?" Almost as soon as she said this, her arm's black designs flashed a deep purple for a second and suddenly the shadows cast under Slappy coalesced and flew at Rae. She shrieked, putting a hand up to shield her face, sure death was about to come. But instead she felt something cool in and around her hand. She slowly opened her eyes and saw a bat made of an undulating black.....cloud? Not quite a cloud, but some sort of strange gas with physical properties. She could feel her hand grasping the handle of the bat, but the surface was moving, tendrils every so often floating about it, curling around her hand occasionally.

"Wha.....WHAT!?" Rae shrieked and attempted to throw the thing away from her. The darkness left her grip and returned under the car, fading back into the casted shadows, as if nothing had ever been wrong.
You mean like having more than one character? You are fine to, I usually don't and when I do have more than one character it doesn't often happen until later in a RP. As it stands now, I have no intentions of having two characters but I do not mind if you do.
The twins slowly circled around Kae, matching sneers in place. Kae huffed, then suddenly darted backwards, behind a tree. She heard the footfalls as the two bandits quickly came after her, but she jumped up, grabbing a branch of a tree and lifting herself up, then swinging back down to kick her feet right into the faces of the two fools. While they were both dazed, Kae kicked their knees out and slashed quickly, ending their lives as they yelled out for mercy.

She walked back to the clearing just in time to see the bandit leader make a retreat. Kae stepped forward to chase after him, but suddenly everything tilted sideways and her shoulder flared up in pain. Gasping, she went to her knees and ripped the small projectile from her shoulder. She examined the tip and realized the woman from earlier had poisoned it with...something. Everything spun again and Kae listed sideways, collapsing to the ground with shallow breath.

"Jax....." Kae wheezed, making motions with her arm, which like the rest of her limbs was suddenly hard to control, to her belt pouch. Inside she knew she had some healing water, a gift from her mother. One drop and Kae would be fine, but her motor control was compromised.
Rae laughed and patted the dashboard of Slappy. "Well, certainly a grand chariot for new heros." She went silent as if in thought, then grinned and snapped her fingers, "Hey! Maybe the floating star thingy will give us our version of a batmobile! We'll be saving the world in style!" After this, Rae's laughter died as she began thinking about the serious situation at hand. "Do you think....you think those people on the news are really gone? Like, forever?" Her voice seemed small and tiny in the space of the car.
@Inkd Bull
I'm willing to follow your decisions. I've never made a thread here, and am new to the site by a few days. I have RP'd other places though, and do think it is often a good idea to have a light posting parameter, since everyone does have their own lives. I've seen it done many ways though, here on this site and on other ones I was once active on years ago. You are basically our 'god' in this, your word is law haha, so I won't be upset by what you decide.
I copied the CS to a word document, and plan of getting it done after work tonight!
I think my last question, unless another arises while everyone else asks questions, is how we will do posting. Will there be a limit on posts between like two people before another? Like say, Person A and Person B are communicating or interacting and it takes up quite a few posts, leaving everyone else to the side, and making it difficult for a person who hadn't been on at the time to do catch up. Will there be a posting rule, or will it be post when you can, however much you can? I skimmed the first post just now to see, but don't recall anything about it. I'm only asking because of times I may be at work, or tiding up the house.(or like today I had to drive an hour away to bring my sister a spare key so she could get into her vehicle.)
Nah, it is fine! I'm just saying my usual stuff I write in my own time outside of role plays is usually not as serious. I like how this is going though ^.^
Well, my first fight scene ever written! At least, fight scene like this. Usually my characters have magic on their side and I do it a little less seriously.
Kae went down as soon as she heard the whistle of flying arrows. She rolled to the side, springing up in time to deflect an oncoming blow from a rushing bandit. This bandit looked as if he was decaying while alive, face a greasy mess and teeth rotting out from his malicious smile. He had size on Kae, but being bigger wasn't always better. The bandit rushed her again with his weapon of choice, a crudely made cutlass, snapping forward to attempt to skewer her. Kae spun out of the way, while bringing one of her daggers down against the oncoming hand. The bandit screamed as flesh was sliced from his arm, and he went down to his knees. Before Kae could manage a killing blow, an arrow sped past her.

Ducking, once again, Kae gritted her teeth in annoyance. Then she saw Jax distracting them, and kicked out her feet to knock the last bandit off her feet when she rushed forward. Turning her body Kae used her hands to propel her to her feet, then sliced through the air with both daggers simultaneously, daring the woman to come forward. The bandit was skinny, clothes barely staying up even with a tight rope around the woman's waist to hold it to her body.

This bandit's weapon seemed to be a simple ordinary knife, hardly a challenge. Kae missed it when suddenly the woman sprung into action, and instead of the knife, small metal...thorns, flew at Kae's face from the bandit's left hand. Kae managed to dodge two of them but the last one hit her shoulder. Aggravated at the sharp pain radiating outward from the joint, Kae lunged forward, but feinted right at the last minute, digging a dagger through the woman's chest and into her heart. The female bandit slumped to the ground, and Kae quickly slit the throat of the handless bandit as he lay whimpering on the ground, a pathetic soul.

She looked up to see how Jax was faring in his fight, ready to assist if needed.
