Runa was minding her own business when someone sat next to her. She turned, and immediately realized the girl was wasted. When she offered Shannon a drink, Runa went wide-eyed in shock. Shannon adjusted his stance and ruffled his feathers, turning to stare at the girl with his intimidating face,
"I'd think not," Shannon spoke in his overly dignified voice,
"I don't indulge in such demeaning behavior. I am a familiar to a great godling! Such elixir shall never pass my beak!" With one last huff, Shannon turned back to watch Zeus at the center of the gym.
Feeling slightly bad for the girl, as Runa had been on the reciving end of many lectures by her owl, Runa smiled apologetically at her fellow classmate.
"I apologize, but Shannon can be a stick in the mud. He thanks you for your offering, though." Quickly Runa reached up and clasped her hand around Shannon's beak before he could open his mouth and rebuff her statement.
"I am Runa, by the way, daughter of Mani." Even though Runa was not a people person, she believed in being friendly and was not going to ignore the girl.
