When will the ooc be out.

I'll start working on it once we have at least 6 people interested.
@UltraCraftGamesThat would probably be fine.
what kind o nerfs ya thinkin

Well, they just have an awful lot of different eye rays, and a lot of them are just too powerful. Like, death ray is definitely out. I would say maybe change the bulk of them to generic lasers, keep the telekinesis ray, and maybe pick one additional effects out of paralyze, fear, slow, and sleep. The antimagic cone is okay.
@kalanggamGlad to have you! Hopefully we'll get a lot of interest since this will really work best with lots of players.
@UltraCraftGamesA beholder would be acceptable, but I'd definitely have to nerf it's abilities.
OOC

So, I've been toying with this idea that I think is finally coming to fruition. If there's enough interest for it I'll fully develop it into a full RP.

Various noble families have been invited to send a single heir to an ongoing banquet to prove their worth to the emperor. The catch? These aren't human aristocrats, but mythical creature aristocrats. Dragons, griffins, hydras, basilisks, and all that good stuff. In this world, mythical creatures can disguise themselves as humans and live among human society. So, they'll have a human form and a mythic form. It is considered poor form to flaunt a mythic form in court, so aristocratic interactions are conducted as humans. However, the emperor will pose several challenges over the course of the banquet. These challenges will take them outside of the banquet hall to strange and dangerous lands where they will be free to unleash their mythic powers. The prize? Luck. The emperor has the ability to distribute good or ill fortune among the noble families, so by performing well they will secure their family's future prosperity. The banquet hall is a place for the heirs to forge rivalries and alliances, connive and sabotage, or even flirt and romance if they so desire. The challenges will be diverse and exciting to spice things up.

That's the gist of it. Let me know what you think and if you have any questions. Also let me know if you're interested in Co-GMing.
Bit of a different feel than these other folks, but let me know what you think:

@mercenarius Ooo, I'm making a detective. What a combo! Haha.
So... I'd kinda like a frame of reference for the time of death thing. Otherwise, a year is just a random number, y'know?
So, how much freedom do we have when creating the era that our characters come from? Is there a fixed history?
