A little about myself and why Im here. Im an adult mid twenties with a serious addiction to fantasy stories and art, metaphysics and dimensions. Plus history and politics. My stories rarely involve fairy dust and rainbows. I aim to reflect the deepest and rawest parts of humanity into my work. Then have it reflect back to others.

This is the sheet of an npc character. All of the starters will have younger weaker monsters.

Inventory: Healing potions, dried meats and other essentials for survival.

Name: Masked Man
Bloodline: Seraphim
Physique: Several feet tall with broad shoulders and a lean muscular frame.
Abilities: Cannot be harmed by non magical attacks. Can turn his body into electricity and lightning streams in various forms. Can shape parts of or his entire body into lightning to become immune to all damage from attacks magical or not.
Spells: Can conjure lightning from within himself. Can manipulate and absorb other lightning sources.
Pet:
Inventory:

Wears a mask that covers his true identity.
Appearance:

Species name: Blood imps
Food source: They feed on the blood of any red blooded creature.
Size: Around two to three feet, tail not included.
Natural abilities: They can fly. Are able to unleash ultra sonic waves and hear the smallest of sounds. Their spiked tails can latch onto things.
Magical abilities: Can cast blood magic via the sad soul that constantly follows it. Can only learn to cast a single blood spell.
Usual Temperaments: Curious and happy rarely brought to anger except when starved then it becomes savage and feral.
Locations Found: In Neros capital as pets. In Neros caves and caverns. Some can be found in Neros forests at night.
Weaknesses: Bright lights hurt its eyes. Other loud noises can harm it. It is small and can be easily tossed around.

This is a list of what is being used and Dragon has been filled except for a pure blood. If you make a pure blood that's interesting I may accept it. Not to sound like a prude but I like variety as I'm sure you do as well.
Appearance:
Species name: Winged Basilisk
Food source: Animals or people unlucky enough to come before them.
Size: They grow nearly forever and their length depends on their age. Usually young tamed ones are around 40 feet.
Natural abilities: Can glide from high places. Has a venomous bite Immune to venomous toxins. Can see through the dark and sense heat with their tongue. Tough scaled hide. Sharp dagger like rows of teeth. Very strong if wrapped around an enemy.
Magical abilities: Can release a mist that slowly turns organic creatures into stone.
Usual Temperaments: Usually passive if not stalking you. If disturbed however it will attack with a venomous bite.
Locations Found: West of Vrondi within Neros territory. Far south of Nero's capital and within a few caverns south west of twilight town.
Weaknesses: Like many Dragons its heart is its weakness. Its heart rests on its underbelly and beats with a red glow. Its wings can be easily burned. It has a low tolerance for cold.
Appearance:

Species name: Blue Homunculus
Food source: Most things in the sea.
Size: Around eight to ten feet tall. Around 300 ibs.
Natural abilities: Does not feel pain. Does not bleed. Can breathe underwater. Cannot die unless core is destroyed.
Magical abilities: It can cast spells taught to it. Though its knowledge of spells is limited to two.
Usual Temperaments: They usually wander aimlessly through ancient libraries. Usually calm, cold, quiet or simply absent minded. They are always on a search for learning spells despite their limited capacity.
Locations Found: South East of Tearia on their islands. In the Magoi Head Quarters. Deep underwater caverns in Tearia's undersea capital.
Weaknesses: It is not very strong physically. It has a core in its chests center that if destroyed can kill it until it is replaced.

Appearance:
Species name: Water Spriggan
Food source: Fresh water and soul essence.
Size: Four to five feet on average.
Natural abilities: Can marge with other sources of water. Can fly swiftly and stay above ground at all times.
Magical abilities: Can manipulate water to form attacks. Can use its own water to heal others.
Usual Temperaments: Shy and usually very secretive. Mischievous and cunning.
Locations Found: Rivers south and north of the Tearian capital.
Weaknesses: Sand and other things that absorb liquids can hurt it greatly. Freezing cold.
For a GM this is a delight. You can create characters types and roles that need to be filled and simply let others work within a boundary to sell the character right and boom you've got a coherently directed story. But for the player you'd have to be down for seeing the story and characters the GM is making come to life without intruding beyond the subtle actions and turns the characters can make.

Maybe to bring a medium you could have the GM lay out roles that need to be filled and character archetypes and such. Have people apply with a brief summary of their idea of a character. You choose the one that you like the most as GM THEN you let them make a CS, and work with them on it also so you both are happy with it. As the story progresses as long as the players feel like they are making a change in how things progress then its fine to keep it rather narrow in progression. You want to get to point a to b and so forth with the in between being something everyone can agree on would be fun and work with the story.
