Skills: Aiken isn't much of a fighter; however, he's amazing at setting traps and has very keen survival instincts.
Bio: Aiken has never really gotten along with people.
For his incredible tendency to be violent and harsh he was never really liked, and when it became apparent that he wasn't much of a direct fighter others were quick to taking swings at him. He learned to be passive aggressive in his retaliation that way, often leaving small bombs or other inconveniences in the path of his tormentors.
He spends a lot of time in his home, usually reading and ignoring everything else.

I wouldn't mind joining in if you'd let me.
However, because of a few personal matters I can't promise that I'll be able to post often, and if this is going to rely on heavy involvement from everyone I'd understand if you wouldn't want me participating. I'd also be comfortable with a minor role as long as I'm staying up to date on major events.

The Qacian Rebellion

Juno was terribly bored.
Which was odd, considering she didn't think it was even noon yet. Granted, both she and Acantha wouldn't have much of anything to do unless something massive popped up or one of his Highness's family members decided to leave (in which case Juno, Acantha, and a few others would have to play escort and chauffeur), but she wasn't known for her patience and itched for something to do.
The two had been stationed in the same room his Highness the King took to eating breakfast in once every blue moon, and this case this morning, and said nothing while the Little Princess had swept in and greeted her father, just like she always did no matter what room he occupied. Painfully uneventful and, as such, painfully boring.
One of the elves had spat on their Little Princess not too long ago. Juno thought about it almost constantly since then, about the little bit of activity they'd gotten that day and the in the uneventfulness since, and the way Acantha had seized up like she was going to strike it down right then and there. She hadn't, because it was no secret that the Little Princess was fond of elves, but the blonde had made it abundantly clear to everyone else not a member of the royal family that they should be more careful next time.
Juno allowed herself a sideways glance at Acantha. The woman stood, back straight and chin up, staring straight ahead without a hint of emotion on her face. Juno wondered about exactly what went on in that head of hers when her face looked like that.

Age: 29
Gender: Female
Race: Human

Personality: Very serious. She doesn't have much of a sense of humor and doesn't care for anyone but Juno, for whom she displays her affection in a rather odd sort of way. She's typically cool, if not snappish, and incredibly introverted; however, should a situation require,she can be very friendly and open. But it is not how she perfers behaving.

History: She was nine when the local doctor in the little town.she was born in went raving mad. Took to toying with people, he did; cutting them open and taking them apart to see how they ticked and putting them all back together again in what was not necessarily the right order. Acantha had been one of his victims- he was especially fascinated with small girls -and it had also been where she met Juno, who had been eight at the time. The two were very close after it all ended.They had been lucky to survive.
They grew up after that with people tiptoeing around them so as to not bother the poor, damaged little children, which they eventually got pretty damn sick of by the time they were adults. So they left.
The two now work for the king as members of his- and his family's -personal guard.

Crush/relationship: Acantha and Juno have entertained a casual romance since they were in their teens.

Acantha is not fond of animals, nor is she fond of elves. She's always been incredibly gifted with a sword and will not hesitate to use it if she deems it necessary. So she's typically equipped to the teeth with one weapon or another.

Personality: Carries a certain air of sarcastic cheerfulness. She's quick to make a joke and tease the king when he's not within earshot, but she's very loyal. Juno is bright, sociable, and incredibly extroverted, also very comfortable in her appearance despite the scars and not at all afraid to speak her mind.

Crush/relationships: She and Acantha have entertained a casual romance since they were in her teens, and even though she doesn't take the relationship too seriously she cares very much about her girlfriend

Juno is massively skilled in hand to hand combat as well as gifted with a sword. She doesn't mind elves, even if she doesn't like them either, and she's allergic to any animal with fur.
She's always equipped to the teeth with one weapon or another.
