Rainbow Factory

Howdy, I'm RainbowFactory, a member of RPGuild that was previously much more active 4+ years ago when the Guild had a chatroom.
I won't be on to roleplay or anything anymore, but I will be using this account as roleplay references to my old posts.
If you ever want to roleplay on a Discord server, PM me and I will view my options. I prefer fantasy but I'm also fine with slice of life or fandom roleplays of animes.

Old Note: The longest post I remember having in IC was 2,616 Characters, but I've rarely done long posts after that unless I'm really into the role-play. I'm trying to keep it at around 600+ characters now, but I may be way off with that estimation.
New Note: Since I mostly RP on Discord now, most of my posts are under 2k characters (unless I end up double-posting which is rare). However, I've stuck to doing casual to advanced-level posts because I've always enjoyed doing full detailing in my writing for both myself and my RP partners to enjoy.

Fandoms + Other

Note: I'm an ex-fan of Supernatural; I watched it a lot at its peak years ago and I still enjoy the content, so I'll be leaving all my Supernatural trash on my account cuz I honestly think it's funny, lol. I was also in a lot of other garbage fandoms (/lh) like Voltron, Undertale, FNAF, etc. or am still in them so I feel like it's fitting...

Since I first began watching anime years ago, my list has largely expanded and I've also moved on to manga since there are more interesting things for me to consume that may have not gotten an anime adaption yet. I'm now at 40+ watched animes and 20+ read/finished mangas. Most of my interests have stuck to action, fantasy/supernatural, etc. (Death Note and FMA to Parasyte and Blood-C) but also dove even deeper to heavy gore (Pygmalion and Pumpkin Night).

I'm still working on being a traditional and digital artists, and soon I'll be picking out an art college to possibly become an animator, character designer, or anything in the cartooning industry. I don't have any art accounts anymore aside from my TikTok (which I will keep to myself), but maybe one day I'll have the confidence to make a big account for a portfolio.

I've continued to heavily play games as something off to the side, going from mainly mobile games to a lot of PC games since I'm practically attached to my computer at this point. Overwatch and Genshin Impact have become my addictions, and I also have games like Destiny 2, Diablo 3, Dead by Daylight, Fallout: New Vegas, and more!

Name: Rasputin Orelov

Gender: Male

Age: 35-human-years-old

Species: Magician Human

Weapons/Magic: Rasputin does not fight physically, he finds it a barbaric and simple-minded way of fighting one's enemies. Instead, he prefers to tear his opponents apart with black and evil magics that rot flesh and crush bone. To him, a normal man can be crushed as easily as a fly. His power allows him to animate shadow to do his bidding. Be it something as subtle as moving small objects to as grandiose as crushing everyone in the room with giant shadowy hands. He can do it all, and he'll laugh like a maniac while doing so.

Looks: Rasputin is a tall man with black hair and red eyes. He stands at 6 feet 2 inches. He is always clothed in robes of purple, kept clean and free of mud and dirt by a trivially simple magic spell. He has a long black beard braided into two coils that reach all the way down to his waist.

Bio: Rasputin is the court magician of a prestigious foreign court. He refuses to tell anyone what he's doing in the land. Doing things mostly because they fit his own goals.
"Wow, thanks Annabeth, you made the new dragon angry!" Dianna yelled at her, getting up from the couch and walking over to the doorway. She picked up the remote control and launched it back at Anna, being a little more accurate, smacked her nose with the corner of the remote.
Annabeth angrily fell to her knees while she held her nose, then took away her hands to show that her nose was now bleeding. "Now my nose is bleeding because of you!" she screeched, then tried to stop the blood from flowing out of her nose.
Dianna didn't care much, rolling her eyes and turning back towards the dragon. She pat the dragons head, making an attempt to calm it down, then asked, "Do you have the shifting trait? It might be a bit easier for you to come inside if you can shift into hybrid form, and if you can't then we might have to keep your outside under the trees for shelter.
Just nevermind about the permission. It's a possible chance that I'll make the role-play, but it's barely related to this anyway.

Name: Dianna Dargon

Gender: Female

Age: 18-human-years-old

Species: Fiery Death Dragon

Weapons/Magic: Dianna has a wide variety of ways she could attack. Her physical weapons are her claws and teeth, or anything that's near her. Her magical powers are shadow walking, shifting, shadow summon, fire flare, and fire/dark breath. Shadow walking uses a large amount of her energy, but gives her the power to use shadows or darkness to teleport to certain locations. Shifting is a gene that she has that allows her to shift between three forms: dragon, hybrid, and human. Shifting between hybrid form and human form uses little to no energy, but shifting to human form uses a similar amount of energy to shadow walking so she will almost never turn to her human form. Shadow summon allows Dianna to use the darkness to summon a shadow warrior, a human-like figure with weak armor, to attack or do something for her. Fire flare is a simple power, which sends a bright but small fireball into the sky only used to alert others. Last, but not least, is fire/dark breath which lets Dianna shoot a line of energy through her mouth at her opponents.

Looks: She's very tall and thin girl, standing at six feet two inches when in hybrid and human form. Her pale skin makes her golden eyes and long messy black hair, which goes down to her waist, easily stand out. She usually wears a dark grey or black hoodie with navy blue jeans, and converse to easily blend in with the darkness. In dragon form she still has the same horns, but stands at five feet without her horns' length. Dianna has blood red scales, and dark grey neck and stomach plates with black spikes that run along her entire back to her tail, with some even hidden under her hair. Her wing webs are a light grey, and at the tips of her wings are short but sharp yellow wing claws.

Bio: N/A
Dianna was roaming around the forest one day, fighting off monsters and hunting for a bite to eat, when she comes across some strangers along the way. She notices that they're lost and struggling with the creatures in the area while slowly freezing to death, so she decides to help them out and bring them to her tree house where her three siblings were at. They slowly become friends, or enemies, with the siblings, and try to help each other out to survive the harsh winter in the forest.

Rules/Expectations:
The rules are very simple, so there's not that much to worry about.
1) Make sure the posts and character sheet are descriptive, but not too descriptive. The posts should be at least a paragraph, or a minimum of four hundred fifty characters. The character sheet itself should be descriptive enough that I can actually visualize the characters, and their powers if they have any.
2) Don't make your character more powerful than you described them to be. That shouldn't be too difficult.
3) If there is a creature or character that is not supposed to be killed, but allowed to be attacked, do not kill it. Of course other people tell you if your character is allowed to fight them or not, with it mostly going to be hinted in the role-play. With the actual monsters, if my characters tell you not to kill any, don't do it! Certain creatures control things in nature, and are important in this world. For example, hydras and mermaids transport water to lakes, like the one in the area, so the other monsters can use it for washing or drinking.
4) Don't spam the OOC. I don't want to come back with loads of messages that I have to read!
5) I don't want a bunch of complaints about any posts. I can take questions, but not complaints.

Setting:
This is set in modern times, but there can still be old fashioned related stuff like older weapons, and clothing. Try not to make a lot of stuff related to the past, or it will not fit in with the role-play. The main place it's going to be role-played is in an area called Ravendew (credit to @Blizz for the name) at the start of winter time. It's mostly made up of a gigantic forest surrounded by mountains, and at the very edge of the forest is a small town mostly full of hunters that stay during the darker times of the year when monsters roam more often. On the other side of the forest is a large lake, surrounded by more mountains and also has monsters in, and around the water.

Character Sheet:
Do not post your character sheet in Characters, because I will be the one to do that. I need to make sure that your character isn't overpowered, and your sheet is descriptive enough. Take away anything that is in parenthesis, and put N/A if it's optional and you choose not to fill it out. If you are using multiple characters, you do not have to make one for all of them, but you still can. It's easier to make one for the main character. Note: If you decide to be a dragon, which is the main species in the role-play, please private message me and we will work that out with your character.

Erm, well... I think I'm just going to quit the role-play...
I'll just tell you the main reasons why:
1) The short posts/having the role-play be "Free" already partly lost my interest...
2) I'm rarely posting due to, like I said, the lack of detail in the posts so I have to wait for a few posts from you guys until I could actually think of something good.
3) The role-play went off topic, or at least the topic that I expected it to be mainly about.

Also, I might make a role-play similar/based off of this, but just in case I'm going to ask for permission to do so. @carla6677, is it alright with you? Just remember, I'm least likely going to do this unless you give me permission and people want to join... and I actually have time.
@LetMeDoStuff *cries* I'm making really really short posts... I'm trying my best though... ;3;
I listened carefully to his explanation--I love drinking so this easily got my attention especially at the vodka part--trying my best not to make twitching motions with one of my eyes from the amount of stuttering that came from him. When he finished I looked back at the bottle pausing for a quick moment of silence then asked, "May I take a sip?" After another moment of silence I quickly added on, "Y-you don't have to give it to me, I just want to try it out of curiosity..." I didn't really want to completely destroy reputation I had with Grant, trying my best to be polite to him and have some small talk, without bringing up anything that might lead to another rampage.
I paused for a moment, thinking for a minute or two before answering. "Well, the titan teeth didn't help my reputation even before anyone confirmed that I was a shifter, but at least it's easier to chew food... Having the extra ability of fire is helpful at certain times, but I still remember accidentally burning a few things like my horse, and several carts we brought on scouting missions.." I tell him while remembering about that time when I burned my horse Jean on his side, leaving a black lightning-looking mark on him. I opened my mouth to continue talking, but quickly shut it just in case I start rambling on about being the Flaming Titan. With a snort I just pointed to the bottle then asked, "What's that?"
