Huh. Okay. They were Hygorns and said masked guy was corrupt so they, er, Phil and dragon needed to stop him. A sigh escaped from Sunny's lips as she took a closer look at the others. There was a guy who controlled earth and another who could control metal. Hmm. Oh, and the teenager was totally freaking out right now. However, the girl who had fallen earlier seemed invigorated by new-found courage, offering her help to Phil and Toran. The other girl also agreed, mentioning something about 'healing'. Cool.

Phil began to talk to the teenager, calling him 'the shadow'. Earth, metal, maybe light, and shadow. Phil even offered to teach them how to use their element and about the Vygorns and their plan, asking the others to join him. Sunny rubbed her forehead, shifting into a more relaxed stance. Despite the nagging feeling Sunny felt in her stomach, she nodded.

"Sure. 'bout time someone stood up against the Vygorns. The name's Sunny," she said. "I've got control over lightning."

"Our Father, Who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name..."

Elijah Cassidy was praying, his full lips moving as he recited the Lord's Prayer. His head tilted upwards, pale hands clasped together in a mixture of hope laced with fear. He was to go West, away from his adopted father and the place where he had grown up in. The place where he had found his savior. While he was happy that he was ordained to priesthood, Eli couldn't help but recall the nasty rumors about the western lands. It seemed as though the wild free region would never be tamed. However, it was his duty, no, he wanted to spread the word to every poor soul out there. Like how God saved him, Eli was determined to save even the worst criminals.

---

'Hot' was the first word that crossed Eli's mind. The sun's rays scorched his light skin and he felt faint with every step he took. He already longed for the cool days back in Massachusetts. Despite the heat, Eli still donned his black clerical clothes and stepped outside, a worn Bible clutched in his hands. It had only been a mere two days before he was to be a witness to a hanging. Back in Massachusetts, there were several public hangings but Eli never took part of it. He just couldn't bear to watch someone die, even if that someone had committed atrocious crimes.

The judge seemed amused when Eli arrived, stating that he and the executioners were undoubtedly doing the Lord's work. Those words seemed to fly through him, however, as the priest's eyes were on the criminal. A large man stepped up the structure, turning to face the crowd as he began to list out the man's crimes. Certainly a long list, but Eli took no mind to that. Instead, his stomach lurched as he watched the noose being tightened around the man's neck. The executioner pushed the man toward the trap and - Oh Lord. The man who was about to die looked straight at Eli, acknowledging the priest's presence.

He was definitely going to pass out. A man's life was going to end right in front of him. The townsfolk didn't seem to pity the poor man. Didn't the Holy Bible speak of love for all of God's creation? That their Lord was merciful and gracious...

"Wait," he muttered, his mouth suddenly going dry. His adopted father has always told him to follow his heart. Perhaps the Lord would agree with his decision to help the convict... "Wait!" He called out louder, drawing the peoples attention. "You can't do this -"

The judge cut the priest off rather rudely. "Finn Casey broke the law -"

And Eli continued on as if the Judge had never spoken up. "I realize that Finn Casey is a criminal and does deserve to be hanged," he began, his voice ringing clear. "But Jesus said to love your neighbor as yourself. Give Finn Casey a chance to change for the better." Eli paused, his thoughts jumbling in his mind. He asked himself the same question the others were probably thinking right now: "Exactly how will Finn Casey change?"

"I will take in Finn Casey and teach him to become a law-abiding citizen as well as a follower of God. I promise you that he will be a different man if you allow him to live just this once. Have faith!"

Name: Elijah “Eli” Cassidy
Age: 23
Place of Birth: Massachusetts
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Language: English
---

Physical Description

Height: 5’6’’

Stature: Years of either kneeling or sitting haven’t done much for Eli’s body. He’s stick-thin and has just bones, some meat, and skin.

Hair: He’s got dark-chocolate brown hair. He usually keeps it at a short cut but Eli has been letting his curls grow out a bit.

Eyes: Cloudy-blue.

Skin tone: Pale as a ghost. As a child, Eli preferred to stay inside and pray. He’s got a smooth and unblemished complexion. Who knows what the sun will do to him.

Features: Eli has an oval face with defined cheekbones, a slightly pointed chin, and a sturdy jaw line. His lips are full and with a cupids bow. His eyes are in a rounded almond shape that are emphasized by his double eye-lids. His slightly bushy eyebrows are forever scrunched up.
Attire: Black clerical shirt, black pants, black robe, black everything. When not preaching, he’ll wear some dark brown overalls and white dress shirt.
---

Personality: Eli is your typical staunch believer who wants to spread the word to everyone. He’s rather calm and subdued in his actions, preferring to fade in the background. While he may seem meek, do not cross over Eli’s no-no line. While it may seem like he’s patient and thick-headed, he really isn’t. In fact, he can be quite a stubborn bull when he truly believes in something. Other than that, he’s polite and always keeps his promises. He chooses to live with a smile on his face and without fear clouding his judgement.

Skills/Talents: If there’s one thing special about Eli, it’s his way with words. He’s got a convincing voice and paired along with his passion, he can easily persuade a crowd.

Dislikes: Eli can’t say that he dislikes anything. He’s pretty tolerant and straight as an arrow. However, he does have trouble dealing with sarcastic grumps.

Ambitions: To help people accept Christ. Eli wishes to take the most run-down soul and teach him the word so that he or she can go to heaven.

Philosophy of Life: Live life to the fullest. Though, you can say that Eli doesn't really follow his philosophy. The only thing he lives for is the Bible.

Religions/Beliefs: God has always been a part of his life. After all, he was saved by a priest, who took him in and raised him to become a priest. He’s forever grateful to his adopted father and wishes to follow his footsteps.

Children: Virgin.

Sexuality and History: Virgin. He’s very thick-headed when it comes with relationships. You have to be super direct in order for Eli to even realize someone is interested in him. He’s easily embarrassed when someone talks to him about sexual matters and prefers not to involve himself in such…indecencies if you will.

Addictions: It’s not really an addiction, but more of a bad-habit Eli can’t rid himself of. Whenever he gets stressed, he will kneel right there and then and just pray for hours.

Family: Eli does not know his parents. He lived off the streets for a while until he turned five when he was adopted by a priest. Back then, Eli was feral. He would bite, scratch, and hiss at the priest; he couldn’t even speak English. His bad behavior would continue well into his adolescence until he came across an old-worn bible. Soon enough, the elderly priest was reading the tale of Jonah or Ruth to him at bed time. Little Eli longed to be able to read the Bible himself, so he dedicated all of his time to studying and praying. With patience and tender love, Eli grew up to become a respectable priest like his adopted father. After being ordained to priesthood, the diocese relocated him to Kansas.

It's fine! Hhah, just woke up from a nice long nap. Will start working on a post now
I'll get a post up later tonight or tomorrow morning - having a guest over :^)
Her orb turned into a fox. Altea was genuinely surprised and in awe. The creature was gorgeous, to say the least. It had beautiful jewelry covering its body and oh - she could already feel herself falling in love. Suddenly, a voice was heard in her head. "I am Blaanid. The Fox of Cyclones." Altea puzzingly looked around - no one had talked to her...Oh heavens. She grinned, going on her knees so she could look at the fox-beast eye to eye.

"Yes, but I'd like to be your friend instead," she answered. The fox seemed to blush or was embarrassed, because it blinked a few times in astonishment. "Oh, I'm Altea. Altea Askeladd. It's a pleasure to meet you!"

"Hmph," was the only response.

While Altea tried to come up with some ways to start up a conversation with her seemingly aloof companion; Lebelont was having the time of his life.

-----------------------

"The champion of Silturn, Riagan, has arrived! Are you my master? HA! Fight me! FIGHT ME RIGHT NOW."

Lebelont tensed at first when he heard the oni challenge him before grinning. A challenge? Sure. "BRING IT ON," he screamed back. "I'll be the one to defeat the champion of Silturn!"

The oni looked taken aback for a moment, but continued to goad Lebelont. "Really? I'd like to see you try, punk!"

Lebelont's eye brown quirked up. "What did you call me? You wanna fight?!" He already liked this Riagan.

"Yeah, fight me! If you can, that is. You're probably weak and -"

Lebelont took his spear at hand, thrusting the pointed edge towards Riegan. The oni gracefully dodged it. "You! I wasn't done talking!" He lifted his fingers, where bursts of fire erupted. Lebelont dodged that as well, as hot as the flames that came from the oni.

"Hah! First person to strike will win!"

The two glared at each other before engaging in an intense but friendly fight.

----------

"So...What do you like to do... in your free time?" Altea said in her head. She was now sitting on the floor as her beast was sitting a few feet away from her, its tail neatly wrapped around its paws.

No answer.

This was going to be tough.
