Hi.
All right, posted~
To say Ayano Nakano was having a bad was like saying elephants were slightly bigger than average. First off, the subway station that she lived near was now 'under maintenance' or something, which probably meant someone had gone in an wrecked the place. Again. So Ayano then had to find a cab -after thirty minutes of hailing them she managed to finally snag one- and then report to her office, only to find that Kumini-san had yet again put all of the paperwork he needed to do on her desk. The time went quickly by as she attempted to move of the mountain of paperwork over to her 'out' box.

If her day wasn't completely horrible, she then received word about bombs going off downtown. Bombs. While she didn't like leaping to conclusions, she still left her office cussing out the Red Clan and organizing people. That was when she noticed that Kumini-san was nowhere to be found.

"Where is Kumini-san?" Ayano asked as pressed her hand against her face.

One of the lower ranking officers answered her. "I heard he went out to a cafe with Cho Sasagara."

"Fantastic. The man in charge is out for coffee. All right, I want high ranking officers at the bombs sites and the lower ranking members to start looking for places other bombs could be placed. Assume nothing," Ayano said this primarily so that the officers would start pointing fingers at Red Clan, "and help as many civilians as possible. Move!"

She was glad that at least one perk of her job was to yell at people whether or not they liked it. Another was definitely that no one could argue with her orders or disobey them. Ah, the perks of power... it was almost enough to make up for her awful morning. Almost.

"Status report!" Ayano barked, moving to where the techs were bent over computers. "Where's the worst of it?"

"Near the Blue King's home, ma'am. I believe that the tenants inside are badly injured." the man said, still typing furiously on his keyboard.

"I'll head there then, keep watch and inform me if the situation gets worse." Ayano said, moving back to her office to grab her saber and gear. Without a second thought Ayano was out the door and in the field. It didn't take long to get to the apartment complex, thankfully, but it was still a mess. Smoke and flames were everywhere, and Ayano had to sort out the chaos from the facts.

Fact: she was pretty sure that most of the damage had been done to one side of the building. Fact: there was a girl and a badly burned boy just outside of the wreckage. Fact: the girl looked like the princess of Red Clan. Fact: she was going to have to avoid causing an incident. Fact: she likely was going to cause one anyway.

She moved closer to the pair, trying to see what she could do. SCEPTER 4 officers had followed her and could attend to the rest of the mess. Right now she had to figure out what a Red Clan member was doing here in the first place. The kid was inconsequential right now. "Hey! What are you doing here?" her tone probably came across as a little too rude, but honestly she was done with all the nonsense that had gone on today. "Did you guys cause this or what? I've got a lot of damage control to do, and hopefully making sure I don't start an incident with HOMURA is the start of it."

She was close enough to see the kid was badly burned, but if she remembered right the princess of HOMURA was a strain of some kind, likely she was healing him. She couldn't see him clearly enough to make out any sort of distinguishing features, but he looked familiar almost. Maybe it was because she'd seen him at a park something. She always liked going to parks or watching kids on playgrounds, so maybe she saw him there.

Ayano snapped out of her thoughts, "listen, I'm terrible at diplomacy. Just tell me yes or no and we can get you both to hospital ASAP."
Yay!
I'll get up a post tomorrow as its kinda late right now.
I posted and Jak now has a spiffy new-ish sheet with all sorts of new stuff.
You know, in case anyone wants to see what I changed.
Hello! I am joining this RP.
Uh... surprise?

Name:
Ayano Nakano

Age:
28

Gender:
Female

Appearance:
Height: 175.26 cm (5'9)
Weight: 81.65 kg (180 lbs)
Hair Color: Black
Eye Color: Red

Role:
Human, second in command of Blue Clan.

Occupation:
Lieutenant of SCEPTER 4

Skills:
Proficient in hand to hand: Her hand to hand combat is above average from other officers.
Quick reader: She reads words faster than average.
People reader: Through years of practice, Ayano has become very good at reading emotions and understanding people.
Average Saber Skills: Her skill with a sword is average for SCEPTER 4.

Powers:
Blue Aura: Because she's part of Blue Clan, Ayano is proficient in manipulating the Blue Aura. The Blue Aura allows her to carry out attacks in rapid succession. She can draw her aura into her aura into her sword to use it as a shield to protect herself from attacks. However, Ayano can also use her aura to mend physical objects because of her higher rank in Blue Clan. She can also draw the aura into her fists to make her punches faster and more effective, but this negates any defensive options that she could use her fists for.

Personality:
Ayano is a kind woman, but she often can be found as too glib or sarcastic by others. Her first reaction to any situation is humor or just plain old silence. Ayano also uses this technique to deflect any questions about her home life, faults, or bosses. This doesn't mean that she ignores the problem, but it does mean that she often procrastinates on dealing with emotional issues or major conflicts that she can avoid. Ayano is far more likely to go out of her way to help friends than she is to actually deal with her own problems. She can be quite intelligent, but often puts her foot in her mouth -so to speak- and missteps when it comes to diplomacy.

However, her honesty is her strongest point. She prefers not to placate people she feels like hasn't earned it, and so often will go out of her way to assign lower ranking officers to placate higher ranking officials. Ayano likes dealing with things hands on and with with very little tact. Ayano is very smart, but often doesn't act like it or show it unless she wants to show someone up. Ayano is also extremely cynical when it comes to the world at large.

History:
Ayano Nakano was raised in a foster home with very little expectations for her future. For a long time, she was told that she'd never amount to anything and was bullied by the other kids at the home. After a few short years of attacks, she started to fight back. She studied harder than before and took boxing lessons. Soon enough, no one bothered to pick on her or make fun of her. She learned how to lie to teachers and how to placate others through comedy. She found herself popular through her comedic techniques and in doing so was brought as part of her friend group to a criminal justice camp where she found herself excelling past her group and friends whenever mysteries came up.

When high school rolled around, Ayano pushed herself to take harder classes and forced herself to excel to graduate early to start her degree in Criminal Justice. She managed to graduate a semester early and finish her bachelor's degree in four years. She quickly applied to SCEPTER 4, and was accepted. Due to her hard work and excellent results, she has been promoted to Lieutenant in four years. Ayano, while she cracks jokes about taking over Mikami's job, would never want the responsibility that comes with managing the clan.

Other:
Anayo's theme song:
Was she really going to just bail out now because it was going to be so risky? Was she going to really leave them without her help? She was the only Rain Guardian and her just abandoning Naoto and the others was unthinkable... but so was fighting this crazed lunatic. They were all bad options and frankly... abandoning the group seemed like it was the most viable. Even if it went against all of her morals to just ditch the group when the going got hard. There were no good choices here, and she knew it. It was die and fight, or run and hide. Jak father would not be proud of her in this moment. He wouldn't be proud of her at all, quivering and whimpering the way she was. Why did she have to even join this gang anyway? She knew what she was getting into on day one but why was she so ignorant to pretend away the reality of the situation. Mafia members fought. Whether or not with guns was irrelevant. Vincente had been trained for this from day one. Jak was just some hick with a chance to be in the mafia.

Jak was rocked from her stupor by Naoto grabbing Cyril and shaking him. He asked if he wanted them to help. I had almost forgotten... she'd been so wrapped up in her own worries that she'd forgotten about Cyril's aunt. Was she going to just her? Like she had with Dad? Naoto's speech went over her head as she stood up. "For better or worse, I'm in." even as she said the words she needed to hold onto the table. She'd only felt this way a few times before. The buzz of excitement and nervousness that came before her old karate matches. It was great, if not terrifying.

She wanted to fix this, at least. She couldn't fix that Cyril's aunt was kidnapped, she couldn't help that she'd been chosen for this role, but damn it she was going to stop Vincente even if it killed her. Which it probably was, but honestly she didn't think about that. She was going to at least try this time and not run away. She had to, because if she didn't, then no one would. Her realization and renewal of her resolve made her realize that her almost crying almost drive some people to running away.

Except for the English girl who was weirdly shouting something inspirational at the group. Jak didn't understand what she was saying, so she ignored her for the time being. "What's the plan?"
Now I have to post.... o.o
