Name - Jillian Masters
Alias - Bunny
Powers - Luck. Jill is extremely lucky in all aspects of her life. If she wants something good to happen to her that day, it most certainly will. If she can avoid something bad happening to her, she most certainly will.
Weakness - Jill’s powers only work if she active. So, for example, if someone tries to shoot her and she tries to get out of the way, she will be able to. If she just stood there, she would probably die. Jill still doesn’t really understand her powers, and this misunderstanding could led her to some wrong conclusions…
Experience - None.
Appearance - Jill is slender and petite with short, cropped black hair. She has dark brown almond-shaped eyes, freckles and large ears that she’s insecure about (although nobody really notices it but her). She has a slightly crooked mouth, but when she smiles, you don’t really notice it.
Age - 16
Brief Bio - As far as she knows, Jill has had her powers since she was a child, although she wouldn’t really call them that. All she knows is that since she was a kid, she always seemed to get her way. If she wanted a cookie from the jar on the counter, she knew that if she reached for it, she would get it - whether the cat accidentally knocked the jar as it was running across the counter; or if she threw her stuffed rabbit on the counter and it knocked the jar over, a single cookie would miraculously happen to slide down the counter and into her hand. As she got older, she began to notice her good fortune more and more.
Coming home one night from a costume party, Jill happened across a couple cornered by one of the “melted people” she had been warned about at school. She ran to their aid without a moment’s thought. That was pretty stupid of her, though. The melted man immediately turned to her, and not knowing what to do, started running up the fire escape of a nearby apartment complex. The man followed. Terrified, Jill tried to move faster and slipped. The back of her foot hit the side rail of the decrepit fire escape. Part of the structure dislodged from the impact, the guard rail now turned into a sharp spike, impaling the man and killing him. When Jill realized what happened, she climbed back down to make sure the couple was okay. They thanked her and praised this new superhero for rescuing them. The women turned out to be a local newscaster, and the story of what happened made it on the local news. Not having the foresight to ask for the name of her savour, the newscaster dubbed her after the costume she wore - a pink corset, a black mask and bunny ears. Thus, Bunny became the newest superhero to enter Millennium City’s growing roster.
Jill, of course, is extremely embarrassed to be considered a superhero, and even more embarrassed that her first heroic act happened while she was caught in a stupid Playboy Bunny costume.
Commitment - At least twice a week at the barest minimum, but hopefully at least a couple times a day on weekends. This month I’ll be able to post a lot, but once school starts again, not as much.
