Current I just force Bork or Shiva to RP when I need a GM.

I think the main thing with any IC is a good pitch, I've joined plenty of RPs because the pitch was good (but rarely do I care about how pretty the thread is).

Some questions are just curve balls though. Traditionally the answer to "Do you support white supremacy?" is an easy no, unless you're either an idiot or racist or probably both.

Having missed the IC, I nonetheless want to post my interest here as this concept is a lot of fun (mutants in space is cool).
I'll toss an appearance in later today!
I'm just tinkering in the backgrounds as my weeks are pretty busy right now, but you may have a point in terms of overall interest.

Either way I'm happy to go full speed with this sooner or to shelve it for later.
With a heavy heart, I must unfortunately say nay.

Although I remain highly interested in this RP, I've sort of lost the thread of what I was trying or interested in writing.

Best of luck though!
Teg moved to rise, nearly managing a graceful stumble to the floor before she caught herself. She felt weak. She felt slow. And she didn't like either feeling. Despite the advice of the good doctor she knew that there was really only one solution to her problems. She needed something to drink. A bottle. At least a bottle. She had new nightmares to forget. New visions of her own mortality that she had to bury beneath the bodies of countless brave neurons. Unspoken was her irritation at her own clumsiness. There was no room for mistakes in battle. She'd gotten lucky. She'd gotten lucky again.

"Can't wait for for one hundred percent Doc, I've got pirates to murder," Teg said with another rasp that turned into a convulsing cough as she fought a losing battle against with the oxygen mask. It refused to come off and she finally accepted that her escape would have to wait with a weary sigh.

"Maybe, maybe I'll just rest for a little bit," the mercenary finally said, sighing again as her eyes slowly fluttered and she fell into a peaceful sleep.

The "evil leader doing good through pragmatism" is a fun angle and the setup reminds me a bit of Ari Marmell (Goblin Corps and the The Conqueror's Shadow are all about evil leaders actually not being that evil).

To clarify, are you looking for people to write the heroes that are being "used" (perhaps to varying degrees and knowledge on their part) by said bar maid? Or are you looking for players willing to focus on world building? Or both?

Edit: Oops, thought I was posting in Advanced. My bad.
Current WIP pending some checks with the GM (so mostly happy with it, just might need some tweaking).

Still have to sort out appearance though, so stay tuned.

Here's what I have so far:

Love all the posts so far, excited to see what happens next.
If there's a Viggen on offer, then you've got a deal.

I can finally use my family's obsession with airplanes to my advantage and the early Viggen is gorgeous.

Most importantly I choose this color/paint scheme (assuming my writing is up to snuff of course):

Maybe? It's character stuff that Rapid needs

I can always just write things up so that Madame Zubova's reply to the searching vampire is something vague (suggesting she doesn't know, saying she doesn't know and needs some time to find out, etc.). That gives Rekker an easy way to launch into things if they want when they return.

I'm just wary of making any decisions about Rose given her importance to Rekker's character's background.
