I'm feeling really happy and pumped. Oh, and joyful. Haha.
Bio
Here's a list of things about me if you want to know a little bit more. Though if you actually want to get to know me, send me a PM, or talk over the OOC chat.
1. I don't generally like roleplays where my characters are forced to be serious 100% of the time; mostly because that's not how actual people work.
2. Yes, I use anime pictures for appearances. I've come to like anime less and less over the years, and personally only ever watch the movies now, and that's on incredibly rare occasions. I personally like using those over actual people faces, because people have too many specific details, and I can never find people faces that match the description I want. If you would like, I can use a text description instead.
3. I generally like to make 'pairs' of characters. Either characters that seriously contrast with each other, or work together really well but still have arguments and problems.
4. I've been forum roleplaying for just about 5 years now, and I've been tabletop roleplaying for 11 years now. I still suck at roleplaying despite being a 12 year veteran, but, what're you gonna do?
5. I really enjoy talking to people. Yes, society has gone downhill, but despite that I find serious enjoyment out of talking to people about anything. So, if I'm in an RP with you, just chat away with me. We can talk about mundane things, or go all-out on serious topics. I don't think I've come across a single person I've hated talking to, even if they were somewhat irritating or annoying. So please PM me, or just talk OOC.
6. I flipping love Inside Out, and as such, if you ever make an RP based around it, please invite me. I promise to behave of course. If one isn't made though, you know very well that I'll make my own, and I'll try my hardest to make it the best RP possible. Or, if you just want to talk about Inside Out, I'd love to do that as well.
7. Please make good characters. I understand Advanced Roleplayer's over on that section have no problem with this, but I don't like RPing over there. When I'm on casual roleplay, not many seem to care a whole lot about making good characters. They just make walking cliche's to get into an RP, and then completely change that character as the RP barely starts. It's annoying, lazy, and doesn't really make me want to accept you if I'm GM or co-GM.
Characters are the literal heart and soul of roleplaying, and should be treated as such. If you make your characters card-board cut-outs, it only tells me that you either don't care, are lazy, or that we absolutely need a moderate roleplay section on the forums to bridge the gap between posting 1-2 paragraphs with barely any work put into characters, and posting 6-8 paragraphs with enormously deep backstories, love, and care, put into characters.
8. I am a caring and nice guy, so don't be afraid to talk to me about anything. I'm fairly hard to offend, and even harder to make mad. I seriously enjoy getting to know my fellow members, so talk whenever you feel like it.
Well, we can either assume that the beast is still ever so slightly far away from the twins so that he would have to move in order to get them. That means the thing would have to go through his whole teleport randomly everywhere routine in order to get them. Unless it has some sort of projectile. If the beast has a projectile, like, a poison barb or something, I'd say it'd be funner to fight. Though, maybe we should save that for an even harder version of the fourth dimensional creatures.
Or, because The One has decided against sending in their apps for the two character limit right now, we can assume that they should be killed instead. And, yeah, they really had no purpose being in the convention. I can say that with 100% accuracy. Either that, or the police force is ten times less competent than I had originally thought, and let two extremely under aged children with no sight of their parents or guardians anywhere, into the convention.
Alright, I'm going to go on a tirade with this, and if you don't like those I guess just don't read it. But I need to vent. So, about three or four pages back, The One stated this. "Sorry, I find it hard to put detailed backstories in, and can't think what to do next, while in the Rp, it is more fun and easier to come up with something." I tried that once, and I was called out for being seriously lazy. When I defended myself, (this was during the period that I was part of 5-6 RPs and got really burnt out afterwards.) they gave up and allowed it. Never do this unless you can remember literally every single post you've made with that character.
Why? Well, I contradicted my backstory a ton, when I made it up as I RPed. "Oh, when he was six the event happened." And then someone calls you out and says, "I thought you said it was when he was seven."
This means that you can literally make up your Bio as it comes up in the RP and hand-tailor it so that it's convenient to the situation. Say a wall comes up out of nowhere, and you just go, "oh yeah, my character is an explosives master. He can just knock this down." It's a lazy way to essentially godmod your characters.
That's probably why Tek and us are going to seriously reinforce the heavy back-story thing, because otherwise you could just make stupid stuff up on the fly and say it's part of their "backstory" that you never explained to us. That's why I got really mad at the twins turning out to be psychopaths when absolutely nowhere in the bio explains or even alludes to this insanity whatsoever.
Making stuff up on the fly, is, and always will be, a lazy way to just make your characters do whatever the heck you want, whenever you want. Now, I didn't mean this in any way to insult you The One, as I don't know whether or not if you do that sort of stuff.
However, I've had an experience with that, and payed the price. It is not fun in any way. When I looked back at it, I seriously regretted ever doing it. Bios on the fly are garbage. Sure, you can leave a detail or two out, but the bios are only for us to read. The characters cannot read them, so what's the point in hiding a ton of essential details like they're flipping psychopaths from us? It's not like the characters know, so at least let us know so that we don't get in a fight.
Alright, rant over.
Alright, goodnight Tek. I'll think of something as well that could be viable. Perhaps there's a one-time use syringe that can aid in speeding up the process of recovery. You need to be stable in order for it to take effect, and it's a one-time use. It's like pumping nanomachines or something that very quickly try to bring you back to peak health. Although, because these are prototype nanomachines, eventually they'll dissolve into your bloodstream and become unusable.
Not when one of the three is unusable. Tek, use your NPC skills to do something! Say that the paramedics have arrived on the scene or something and have them attend to Kristof.
We really don't have any ideas, do we? Why'd we have to screw Kristoff out of the RP by hitting him with the sound cannon? Who's idea was that!? "hey, let's cripple the most interesting character from the entire first battle. That sounds like a good idea."
Alright, so we can get things back on track now, right? because this hiatus is hurting my creative glands. They are filling over, and are prepared to burst at any moment.
Are edits done on your characters, The One, King, and Pharaoh?
