I'm feeling really happy and pumped. Oh, and joyful. Haha.
Bio
Here's a list of things about me if you want to know a little bit more. Though if you actually want to get to know me, send me a PM, or talk over the OOC chat.
1. I don't generally like roleplays where my characters are forced to be serious 100% of the time; mostly because that's not how actual people work.
2. Yes, I use anime pictures for appearances. I've come to like anime less and less over the years, and personally only ever watch the movies now, and that's on incredibly rare occasions. I personally like using those over actual people faces, because people have too many specific details, and I can never find people faces that match the description I want. If you would like, I can use a text description instead.
3. I generally like to make 'pairs' of characters. Either characters that seriously contrast with each other, or work together really well but still have arguments and problems.
4. I've been forum roleplaying for just about 5 years now, and I've been tabletop roleplaying for 11 years now. I still suck at roleplaying despite being a 12 year veteran, but, what're you gonna do?
5. I really enjoy talking to people. Yes, society has gone downhill, but despite that I find serious enjoyment out of talking to people about anything. So, if I'm in an RP with you, just chat away with me. We can talk about mundane things, or go all-out on serious topics. I don't think I've come across a single person I've hated talking to, even if they were somewhat irritating or annoying. So please PM me, or just talk OOC.
6. I flipping love Inside Out, and as such, if you ever make an RP based around it, please invite me. I promise to behave of course. If one isn't made though, you know very well that I'll make my own, and I'll try my hardest to make it the best RP possible. Or, if you just want to talk about Inside Out, I'd love to do that as well.
7. Please make good characters. I understand Advanced Roleplayer's over on that section have no problem with this, but I don't like RPing over there. When I'm on casual roleplay, not many seem to care a whole lot about making good characters. They just make walking cliche's to get into an RP, and then completely change that character as the RP barely starts. It's annoying, lazy, and doesn't really make me want to accept you if I'm GM or co-GM.
Characters are the literal heart and soul of roleplaying, and should be treated as such. If you make your characters card-board cut-outs, it only tells me that you either don't care, are lazy, or that we absolutely need a moderate roleplay section on the forums to bridge the gap between posting 1-2 paragraphs with barely any work put into characters, and posting 6-8 paragraphs with enormously deep backstories, love, and care, put into characters.
8. I am a caring and nice guy, so don't be afraid to talk to me about anything. I'm fairly hard to offend, and even harder to make mad. I seriously enjoy getting to know my fellow members, so talk whenever you feel like it.
The guy gives off serious Nick Fury vibes. All he needs is an eyepatch and his skin color to be black, and we could potentially be the avengers.
I was mostly just kidding with the names. They need japanese names though. Unless, they're both foreigners. I'd suspect the scientist guy is probably a foreigner based on the way he talks, but I have no idea on the 'main guy'. Maybe, he would have everyone call him "Mr. Hideyashi" or something,
Kurano Tanaka
Kurano took a quick puff and smothered his cigarette into an upturned ashtray, as per the strongman's request. Kurano tussled his hair and looked about at everyone now gathered. He listened to the words of the officer, not quite understanding what he said. But, understanding the officer had the power of sight, seeing as he knew that something was moving inside of the dead creatures' corpse. Kurano smiled as justice was served somewhat with the apprehension of the thief. Though, sighing as she broke from the cuffs. "You'd think that those shackles wou-" Kurano stopped, hearing footsteps from outside the convention.
The main entrance doors opened, as three confident looking men stepped inside. Kurano didn't recognize the armor of the two guards. Is this a private army? A mercenary group? He thought curiously, staring at their sleek designs. The man in the middle began to explain that whatever 'crimes' they committed were let go. Kurano stood a bit nervous, as the officer was being accused of. When the agent-like man spoke of the little girl, Kurano wasn't very shocked. Runaways were fairly commonplace, though why she had come in to the convention was a mystery to him. Her grip on him tightened however, like she didn't want to go home despite having to work for a mysterious corporation. It was then, a major piece of information hit him.
Kurano folded his arms, and a shocked expression washed across his pale face. Knowing he would have to work, or go to jail almost crushed him. "W-what about my classes? I still have to pay tuition even if I don't go, and I'm supposed to be a lawyer, not a civil worker," he snapped under the stres of the situation. Upon hearing that the thief girl had manipulated the energy after his shot, Kurano thought back. "Yes, well, I recall feeling something, but the stress and chaos of the moment had my attention. It could have been the creature doing that," he guessed, completely shunning the notion of being able to feel energy.
Kurano nearly jumped at the sound of the doors bursting open from another person. A srange, small, and almost crazy looking man stepped in. Kurano held back a smile from hearing his reaction to the chaos. Kurani paused for a moment at hearing the agent say, "that's up to them." Kurano cleared his throat. "If you can pay my tuition, and somehow awaken these 'powers' that I have, then I see no reason why not. Everything's been too boring anyways, and I'm tired of paying off those loan sharks, only for them to accuse me of paying them late."
Kurano looked at the man, and dropped his folded arms, wanting desperately for a smoke to alleviate the stress.
Minami Shiroka
Minami being told that she could potentially go back to her parents, or work for mysterious people made her feel scared. She didn't say anything until Tanaka's response, feeling intimidated to answer the creepy man's question "If, I can have friends. I'll work for you," she barely mustered to say. Minami clutched at Tanaka's arms and moved behind him. The scientist frightened Minami even more, almost causing her to go completely behind Kurano.
Minami Shiroka
Minami's nose was relieved at last of the terrible smell. The big man, the nice man, and the cop all finished the job. Minami breathed in and out slowly, with a smile across her face. "Did you do it?" She asked, with her innocence shining through.
Kurano TanakaIt's over then. Kurano drew ragged breaths, staring at the man who looked like he was floating mid-air. The little girl asked him a question. "Yeah, yeah. I'm pretty sure we did." Kurano suspected whatever the large man was on top of to be the monster. "Need any help getting up?" He asked, trying to be polite. He added a question however. "Were you able to see the thing? Or, did you just blindly slam into it? Bravo either way." Kurano dropped the gun, and muddled his hair for a bit. He reached into a shirt pocket and pulled out his smokes and a lighter. He lit a cigarette, and puffed on it triumphantly. "Everyone okay?" He said, after some time cooling down.
I'll try my hardest to find places with free wi-fi or something along the way. If I have any time at all I'll make another post. Also, I just barely caught up. At the latest expect a post in 6 or so hours.
