So I took a long break from this site a while ago. I got very discouraged cause it seemed any rp I was involved with died pretty fast. I was marathoning One Punch Man today and decided it would be really cool if I could get an rp going based off the shows world.
We wouldn't be using characters from the show(though I may have some of the characters from the show make appearances). The idea is more to have something in the same vain as the show.
In terms of character creation I won't put many restrictions. For the most part you can have your character as powerful or as weak as you want. You however cannot be Saitama. Your character is not the most powerful being in the universe. You have to define their abilities specifically. The powers have to be within the reasonable limits of other characters from the anime. If you've seen the show you know that isn't a very big restriction. Basically as long as your character can't destroy planets you're good.
Another big part of the rp is characters will die. No matter how powerful your character is and no matter how impressive a backstory they have if they get too cocky in front of the wrong enemy there's a good chance they end up as a blood stain. Of course you will be allowed to make a new character at this point.
My last point is only tell me you're interested if you mean it. I expect everyone to check in at least once every two days. If you have to leave for an extended period of time and can't post let us know before hand. If you disappear for more than two days I will take control of your character and at the earliest convenience find a creative way to kill them off. I don't do this because I'm mean but because it's the only way I know to keep things moving if a player drops off the face of the earth which has happened to me in the past.
