Dead men tell no tales
So listen to this story from a whale
She sailed the silver river
But only found a purple butler
There was a grey parrot, and the crane both agree
That the turtle should search for the one manatee
Now you see your monster
Or maybe your insanity
The pirate needs more ales

Cara was satisfied with the information she was getting. She was also a little worried that he wasn't leaving with the others. It seemed he was still interested in her, or maybe more interested, now that he saw her cybernetics. Great, I'm going to have to entertain this guy, and now he wants to know my name. I hope Krutik is ready to leave soon. She put on another performance, drawing in closer to him again. "Jamie is my name, and what's yours? You should really take off that helmet too. I want to see you." She noticed his attention was being strained by another interest as well. She glanced to look at the odd folk that were starting to cause a scene.

Krutik noticed her doing well with the Fotian guard. He knew she was probably hating it, but she was probably getting good information at the same time. He also kept a keen eye on the new people getting a lot of attention, and the barkeep? He looked stiff and just stood there as he approached the table. After a few moments he just collapsed. Well that's certainly odd. It seemed the two hooded figures knew them as well. Krutik couldn't quite overhear the conversation, but he knew a lot was going on, and he was getting very curious about it.

Tamara was content with Sai's apology. Sai's grin and new comment excited her a bit as well. Tamara gave a toothy smile as well, but as much as she would have liked to play, she eased off of Sai and stood back up. "Maybe another time." Tamara followed Sai as she lead the way back downstairs. Sai approached the table with the humans. Tamara stayed a few steps behind and signaled for Garaten to come over. "Only she could find trouble in paradise.

Garaten got up and answered her beckon. Before he could even ask what was going on she began. "So these two are the thieves and some Makhaira guy wants them to protect these humans. Their delivering some sort of blood seal. They were worried about the Therosi so I think they are Aion." With Tamara finishing her quick knowledge dump, Garaten tried processing everything. After a moment he spoke again. "Well, I suppose we could help them. We have a few days off, so what better way than working." Even though he was being sarcastic, he knew this was the right thing to do. The Aion were a peaceful organization that he wouldn't mind helping at all. Keeping an eye on this blood seal thing would be good for the queen as well.

They both turned to face the circle made up of the humans and the Aion, waiting to see what their next move would be.
James didn't care that much about Dodger. He was always more into women and other than the nickname 'Righty', the teasing was light. Dodger was rather charming, and the most James ever cared to tease him was ruining his chances with some of the women he wooed. There were so many it didn't matter much. Dodger always came away with a trinket whether they took to him or not. His thievery really was remarkable. James always checked himself after being around him. It didn't seem he took anything this time before he left.

James already took careful notice of the location of the infirmary, and a room that looked like it could be used for magical testing. Even though he didn't research it much himself, he did like to see what magicians could imagine. He didn't expect to be a subject here much though. He was brought simply for his transformation's muscle.

He ended up following Rapunzel into the kitchen a minute after she had. He hadn't eaten either, but he wasn't sure what he would eat now. He really wasn't a good cook, so he ate a lot of leftovers and sandwiches. It looked like she was preparing a lot of food and ingredients. He didn't think she could eat that much, but he didn't want to assume. He didn't want to seem presumptuous either, but he was pretty hungry. "Are you cooking for everyone?" He kept his question short, so a nod could suffice.
I'm here and I've been waiting on anyone, so that I'm not breaking the two posts rule, before going again. I realized I might have been holding up @LadyRunic, but I didn't think everyone was waiting for her.
I think I can get a post out tonight.
Yeah, other than feeling it's important for the chance to turn them back, he atually has no idea what it is, but seeing it destroyed breaks the hope of turning them back. Normally a soul is a common term for a life force of a person. If Flor makes any assumptions that don't seem in character or metagaming, then please tell me.
@drewccapp

No that's fine, I never did address him assuming they were souls until now, and using someone else's thoughts is metagaming. He does assume they are a soul though. It's why he's collecting them, with hopes of restoring the people. It's probably an empty hope but it's a hope nonetheless. I was going to introduce it later, but it seems Vincent wants to use that power, which Flor will probably be against. Since he sees it as their soul and basically once their soul is destroyed its murder. It's why he got mad at the rabbit boy.
The train ride was rather boring to James, but nonetheless, he sat quietly staring out the window. The fluctuating scenery and his thoughts were all he needed to keep himself entertained. As they closed in on their final destination, he wondered what sort of monsters they might find. Some saw him as a monster, but fortunately, the guild was pretty diverse and accepting. He liked that about them and the fact that he could help them made it all the better.

The train arrived at the station and a Mr. Vert guided them to their carriage. The carriage brought them to an odd stone building. James wasn't too impressed with the new place. "It's not bad." He interjected to Dodger's question to Rapunzel. The outside was rather deceiving to its interior. The many rooms and facilities seemed to have everything he would need. Money shouldn't be a problem for him. He barely ever spent any money.

Those two are doing their own thing right now, but basically the presentation ended boringly, the students returned to their rooms to find a pamphlet with the assassin's rules, and that class started the next morning in room 0B, which is in the secret basement, that can be found through a janitor's closet.
Flor watched as the rabbit-boy springboarded off of him. A little upset with the boy's antics, he was still calm and fine. Then he saw what the boy stole from him. "Hey! Give that back!" He quickly scrambled up off of the floor, the boy put the gem into his chest. 'The Grit are using our soul stones for power?' Flor's assumption lit a flame of anger against the Grit.

He jumped to the railing the boy sat on, just as he was about to reach him, he leapt again toward Maria and landed behind her. Flor leapt to the railing next to her, but lost concentration as the boy screeched, and nailed the railing, tripping onto the floor Maria and Moth were on. Flor didn't really have any grudge or hatred against the Grit, until he found they were feeding on their souls.
