So, I've been out, but I'm gonna give my two cents on the supposed meta-gamer. Personally I think it would be really cool to have someone with that power. As long as there character's goal wasn't to out people, but sort of just realized it, then I'd be totally cool with it. Shoot, he could even be trying to hide the fact that he knows who everyone is. Now, if he just wanted to declare everyone to the world, that would be a killjoy, but if my character is trying to stay secret, and he's the only one that knows, but my character doesn't know he knows, then my character wouldn't care. Who cares if he knows? It doesn't matter. So, really it depends on the character more than the power, but I think it could be really cool. That's just my take.

Ability Overview:

Jared actually phases with an ethereal world. That way when he goes incorporeal, he doesn't fall into the earth or fly into space. Jared can also ghost other things, even up to another person. A red hue surrounds Jared and anything else he ghosts. There's also a small spirit or wil-o-wisp from the ethereal that follows him. 

Limitations:

For now, when Jared ghosts, his whole body goes incorporeal. He knows how to ghost other things too, but he can't pick and choose parts of himself. He can ghost himself all day, but the more he adds, the more exhausted he becomes. Ghosting another person can be pretty exhausting depending on their size, and trying to ghosts two people would about knock him out immediately. The wisp that follows him isn't very helpful either. It understands him, but doesn't listen to him very much. It can glow with a purple light and can interact with objects minimally, but most of the time it just likes to be annoying.

Jared is really pretty normal. Nothing really helps him stand out, except that he is sort of tall. He's got a lankier build, and he's pretty flexible. Most of the time, people see right through him though. That's not just a joke about how white he is. He feels like people rarely know he exists. In fact, the only thing that might stick out to people is that they notice this 'new guy' in the middle of the year. 

Clothing:

He pretty much wears whatever he feels like. His style ranges from jerseys to sweater and even tank tops occasionally. He mostly has cargo shorts or pants. He likes the pockets. He wears flip flops in the summer and boat shoes in the winter. Unless, he knows he'll be running, then he wears sneakers.

The way Jared acts is typically dependent on those he's around. He's very quick to treat you the way he feels treated. If they're a jerk, he'll be a jerk. If they're friendly, he'll be friendly. Although, most people that see his friendly side, might call him more odd, but it's a fun sort of odd.

Backstory:

There's nothing really exciting about Jared's background. He grew up pretty normal with good friends in a good place, until his dad had to move away to stupid Greenville. This place was seriously lame and the people lamer. His dad was hardly ever around either. He always had business trips, and when he was home, he was always in his office. From the size of porno mags and how often he went on sketchy trips, he was pretty sure his dad was cheating on his mom, but he didn't care. His dad was a bastard and his mom married him for money anyways. He's started to like Greenville a little more. Something about the hope of leaving it for college has helped to see it in a better light.
