Christopher has never been a fan of the unknown, even worse was when there was something in front of him that was unknown to him but he couldn't figure it out what it was. This what seemed like a boat by the way that it moved and how the environment smelled seemed to be especially good for, having a lot of unknown. That was the case with that stupid book with such a weird name "The Reapers Lie". There were voices that appeared to be human on a different level of the floor but it didn't seem that anyone had responded to his knocking on the floor boards, so maybe they hadn't been human or even real voices at all but instead Christophers mind playing a trick on him. Maybe that's what all this was, just some crazy dream since he did have a pretty crazy night with those ladies. He thought maybe that he would just lay on the floor and wait for this dream to end and him to wake up in his comfortable bed. It didn't last long before he got tired of lying on the floor bleeding all over himself and his white dress shirt that he had worn out to the club before going unconscious.

He decided to stand up and jump on the floor three times to indicate to the people below them that they were here. As he performing this action there had been a book that lay open next to his foot and each time that he stomped on the ground a few more specs of blood fell from his chin down onto the open book. Christopher hadn't looked down at the book that was there and it was a good thing because what was there might have frightened him quite well. After Christopher stomped on the ground he was going to have a round two with the book that he couldn't take off of his mind, but the book was not in the same condition before he had laid down. It looked like it popped open a bit like maybe he opened the binding that kept it closed. For the first time since he had been here a smile broke across of his face, he was about to solve the unknown about this book and examine its contents even if he recognized what it said or not. To his astonishment it wasn't a real book at all but it looked like a small safeguard for little items, when he looked inside he was completely floored. There had been a single pearl that was sitting there staring at him, it looked like it had been begging for him to take it. He didn't really mind what the others thought about the contents of this or if he even told them about it but it was his doing that had given up its hidden contents. Having appreciation for the finer details in things as much as he thought that the title of the book was stupid he now had seem the poetics in it now. Another thought entered his mind instantly after the first, hopefully it was purely poetic instead of symbolic. "The Reapers Lie" Hopefully they weren't truly dead and being kept prisoner by "The Reaper" as the "Lie" aspect was true as it wasn't truly a book but a secure place to the pearl.

Christopher was now getting slightly annoyed with the cut on his forehead since it kept getting in his eye. There didn't seem to be anything that he could use around the room and he didn't really thing that parchment would be a benefit for him so he ripped off both of the sleeves on his shirt and wrapped one around his forehead. Even though it was white and would soon turn red given how steady the flow of blood had been, probably didn't help that he had worked himself up by demolishing the contents of the bookshelf and getting his heart rate higher pushing more blood around.

Christopher had started to walk over to the rest of the group to discuss what there the best plan for them to do would be, whether it be to explore the rest of this small room or to try and find their way out while trying to locate where the voices had been coming from. Maybe they would have a few more answers then them. If anything else there might be more of a chance that someone else spoke English as well as he did, which seemed fairly likely given what little he could make out from through the floor boards. While making his way over he stepped on a book, he couldn't ignore the book since maybe it had something hidden in it also since it seemed pretty thick if he wasn't mistaken it seemed about as thick as "The Reapers Lie" when he bent down it on both of the open pages there had been pictures instead of words.

It looked harmless like a picture book that you would show a child but without any captions or words to explain what the pictures showcased. When Christopher had looked down at the pages that the book had fell open to it looked like he had seen a dozen ghosts at once. This was something that had come from his past that only a handful of people knew about, the only ones were his parents, his siblings and himself. On the picture there was the most dark piece of Christopher whole life, he was standing at the feet of a deceased male impaled with a fire poker with his two siblings behind him with his arms spread out protectively. Looking at this image he knew it was about him since he could picture that moment in his mind vividly as it had just happened.

He had collapsed to his knees but he couldn't put the book down, as he flipped the page he had seen another images from his past, when he flipped a few more times he could see himself walking through his apartment door with two women in his arms but they were only silhouettes but they hadn't been wearing what the image in this book portrayed, they had little horns and a tail like many woman had dressed up for Halloween. Like little devils. When he flipped the page once more there had been an image that he didn't remember happening in his mind at all. Like it hadn't happened yet, or happened after he had been with those ladies because he usually had an impeccable memory but this didn't ring any bells. When he turned the next page to see if anything else followed it every single page after it had been ripped from the binding of the book.

More shinies! They added 'unread' under of the IC/OCC/Char tabs. Also I don't know how recent the next one is but they now have 'Co-GM' as an official thing that shows up next to 'GM' under the title!

Edit: Ramble ramble ramble; I think I am going to bed.

Simon never thought that he would ever end up sitting in a gully talking to himself in any universe that was out there but here he was making that crazy scenario a reality. At least he thought that he would only end up talking to himself because there was no one else around him but he couldn't let that small sliver of a virus that the rabbit had implanted in his brain some time ago. The rabbit had mentioned Soothsayer but didn't really elaborate on its properties or how to engage this 'effect'. He lit a leaf on fire before so he figured that doing it again would potentially do something. To Simons complete utter surprise he did hear something in return. When the voice spoke it sounded like the voice was right at the tip of his ear, it was at an acoustic sweet spot for sound but it wasn't yelling. It sounded like the voice was completely surrounding him, like he was the water and the jar was the voice. He heard nothing else around him, no monkeybats, no fire, nothing but the voice.

"Lonely boy . . . I want you to see me. Take me away. I trust you . . . Under your feet. Look . . . Take me to the river. I am the water to the fox's flame. You and I, my dear lonely boy. You and I."

When he first heard the voice it was like a state of nirvana, he felt complete nothingness as he hung on every word that was released into his mind. As the word was still hanging in the air the sound of fire crackling slowly began to flow back into his ears. Simon was so entranced that he couldn't think clearly. Simon truly had no idea how he was going to take something to the river that he couldn't see with his eyes. There was nothing that was under his foot since it was flat against the ground. That was when he looked under his foot and discovered that there was a black necklace that was barely visible if the voice had not mentioned it to him, especially since Simon hadn't noticed it when he first entered the gully. Simon picked it up carefully and not wanting to harm it he placed it gently around his neck. When he put it on he had a slight eerie feeling, why had this necklace felt so snug perfectly on his neck. It almost seemed like it was made for his skin.

Simon had no idea if he could be able to communicate with the voice again in the future if need be so he emptied the rocks that he had taken for protection out of his pocket and stuffed as many flowers that would fit in his pants (that were an absolute disgrace). Simon stayed on his knees as he thought about what he was going to do while as he sat he couldn't stop thinking about one line that was said in particular to him.

"Take me to the river. I am the water to the fox's flame"

Was it just a coincidence that he had picked up the mask of the fox and happened to start the fire that was now running rampant throughout the forest. Even though he would love to see this place burn to the ground for everything that it has done to his companions and himself there were so many things that could be learned about this place if any straight information could be gained in this place. So many advancements that could be made in the herbal medicine world. He didn't truly know what was going to happen bringing the necklace to the river but he figured that it would be the safest thing to do at the moment. With this thought Simon decided to start this leg of his journey, Simon wasn't sure what way the river was but he figured that he should head forward since he hadn't seen any rivers aside from the one that seemed to have healing properties but that seemed inaccessible at the moment because of the flames that Simon had provided.

As he started to walk he could feel that something had been observing him intensely but as he slowly turned around in a complete circle he hasn't spotted anything besides trees and flames. However Simon knew from what he had experienced so far that even though you can't see anything doesn't mean jack.

We are just trying to make sure that you are on your toes :P
Name: Slyvester Huntington

Screenname: Sly_Hunting

Sex: Male

Age: 25

Appearance:

Appearance/Other: Slyvester is 5'10" weighing in at 190 lbs. He has three tattoo's, one on each arm and one on his ribcage. One for each of his children that are outside of this world.

Bio: Slyvester decided to get this game because he wanted a good game that he could kill his little amount of spare time and also while chatting with his little brother who lived on the other side of the world. When they purchased it on the release day they soon found out that they would be spending a lot more time with each other since no one could log out. It was one month into the game when himself, his brother and their guild got ambushed by a group of Laughing Coffin members. It was that day that Slyvester felt the most pain in his life since only a handful of members survived and his brother wasn't one of them.

Slyvester was the only one who survived that attack that made it through the rest of the week since everyone else couldn't handle seeing all of their lost friends dying day after day when they all willingly ended their time in Sword Art Online. This was however not an option for Slyvester since he couldn't leave his wife and three kids to a madmans video game.

Equipment: Slyvester always wears his brothers leather chestplate with the guild insignia on it for sentimental reasons so he relies on the strong alloy chainmail equipment that he wears underneath of the leather chestplate to keep his defensive stats on the competitive edge.

At the moment he is wearing a silver warriors helmet that was altered to end at the cheekbone to show his beard. On his left hand only he is wearing a strong metallic bracer to help deflect minor attacks should they get past the small buckler shield. He also if wearing a belt made of a more flex metal version of the bracer in case of being disarmed. On his legs he is wearing pair of platelegs made of flex metal as well for improved movement. Finally for his feet he has standard boots to reduce leg/feet fatigue.

Curved Sword;

Dagger;

Consumables:
► 6 Healing Potions
► 2 Defense Boost Potions
► 2 Attack Boost Potions
► 1 Teleport Crystal
► 75,051 Cor
► Medium-Sized Sharpening Stone
► Metal Retrieval Kit
► Metal Information Handbook
► Spare Ingots for Repairs

Slyvester has a more aggressive fighting style so he is carrying a small amount of healing crystals. He also likes to make sure that his blades are always sharp for maximum sharpness so he also carries a medium sized sharpening stone.

Skills; Curved Blade Skill Dagger Skill Buckler Skill
The curved blade skill is significantly higher than the dagger since the latter is only a back up in case of emergencies. A ratio of 6:1 for curved to dagger.

Utility Skills; Top 3 Stealth Listening Night Vision
Slyvester may be a strong fighter but he also knows the advantage of being a smart fighter also, why attack an enemy that is already aware of your presence to on the attack/defense and who really wants to get ambushed by intelligent monsters or the cursed Laughing Coffin members that took his brother. That is the reason that Slyvester tends to use these three skills more often than any other in his arsenal.

Crafting Skills; Metal Working Weapon Crafting Metal Refining Medium Armour Crafting
Slyvester has an interesting method of fighting and that requires him to modify his equipment to be able to function at maximum efficiency.

Attribute Skills; Strength [9/10) Speed [6/10] Intelligence [4/10]
Endurance [10/10] Will [4/10] Charisma [2/10]
Slyvester is a strong fighter who can endure quite a bit of damage and still keep slugging it to the opponent. He isn't overly intelligent to other matters besides metal working and basic spells and isn't overly charismatic but has some if ever needed.

Edit to original post: Added top3 utility skills.

I think this covers everything @ManoftheNorth. If you see anything that I need to fix or anything like that hit me up.
It was just as Karol was starting to remember his dojo for the beautiful memories that he had there spreading his love for kickboxing with the towns youth but when they entered the gardening store the beautiful memories were slowly crushed. For some reason Karol thought the dojo was one store to the right of there current location but seeing all of his mats on the ground of the gardening store was a little heartbreaking.

It was lucky that the bandage was still fresh and didn't cause much pain at the moment. He looked around and to his delight he spotted more of the pine cones from earlier. He let out a slightly audible sigh and put his down for a second. When he raised his head back up he happened to look behind the collection of little rodents munching away on fertilizer, just what he wanted to see. They had been annoying enough without getting that little added boost which made him a little nervous since there wasn't really any way to get around them to get to the back of the store where was the materials that could get them out of the mall.

He wished that they could make it to the back of the store first and than make fight with the monsters since it would give a slight advantage to use a weapon against them even if Karols most efficient striking method was his kickboxing.

Hey Spruce do you think that you formulate a distraction to get to the back of the store to get some equipment before having to fight these guys since it is pretty much inevitable for a fight to break out.

If Spruce was witty enough to find Karol in this small down he must be able to formulate a good distraction.
