Ace pressed the start button to let the machines do their work. Slowly, as data was fed into the file, he frowned. He grabbed the green holo screen and brought it closer, adjusting his glasses as he did so. "Holy f*cking sh*t," he grumbled. He glanced over to Lukas then back to the screen. "How did you burn through two thousand calories and still be standing?" He let out a low hum.
"Go to the kitchen, now," he instructed. "There should be plenty of food in the fridge, Ashe eats a lot as it is." The machines stopped whirring and finished their business.
Z gave Lukas an encouraging little clap, smiling at him.

((maybe someone else other than ace should be leader now lol))
Z shrugged it off. But as soon as RR left, she heeled over and dropped onto her hands and knees. She was coughing hard, blood splattering onto the ground underneath her. Her eyes drained of the black and return their normal grey. She was shaking now, her throat feeling like it had been scrapped with hot metal and an immense weight of guilt hanging over her. She slowly lowered herself so that she was on her side, knees to her chest and hands over her throat. 'Ace is going to kill me,' was all she could think.
Z snorted, grinning at him. "How could I?" She repeated, letting out a small chuckle. "You didn't seem to be against it. Maybe even enjoyed it!" That led her into a fit of laughter that made her heel over.
"Oh, you humans baffle me!" Z cried out, calming herself so she could breath. "I don't care about any of you! But that's just me." She ran her hands over her purple hair and took a deep breath. "I'm only borrowing this pathetic girl for the time be-" She was stopped short as she seemed to choke on her words. She coughed into her hand, and as she pulled her hand away, there was blood staining her hand. "Uh oh, seems she's fighting back now!" She sighed, dramatically. "I still have some time before I have to give up. Want to go for round two?"
It took the message a few minutes to reach her phone, but she felt something wrong before her phone dinged. She was still comforting Ryan's little sister while Alex and Crystal consoled Ariana. She pulled out her phone and didn't have to read much to know where he was. She gently propped Melanie on a couch pillow before she opened a portal to his location.
The angel stepped through, looking over the patch of woods to find Ryan leaning against a tree. "Oh, mon petit lapin," she sighed, walking over to him. She knelt beside him, gently placing her hand on his knee. "Ryan?"
Z let a wicked howl of laughter as she watched Sparrow swing away. "So much for that," she purred, sitting up and looking at Tim. "Too bad I used you. She really did like you." It was hard to specify who the 'she' Z was talking about. She stretched out her arms above her head, not caring that she was still indecent, then looked over to the discarded uniforms.
"You might want to cover up before someone finds you," she suggested, becoming lazy with her pronunciation so her words slurred together in her thick French accent. She stood up and, with the help of hands manifested from the shadows, she dressed herself. "That was fun," Z chirped, smiling at Red Robin. "We should do it again." RR was released from her spell, but the dark-skinned woman's eyes were still black and white. Both the eyes and the fact that she could speak hinted that maybe something wasn't right.
Ariana looked up at him, but instead of looking annoyed, she appeared more understanding. She knew her son had a habit of running away his problems so it didn't surprise her when he said he needed to go. Once he left, she collected herself and crawled onto the bed. She rest her head on Wally's side of the bed, taking deep breaths so that she didn't start panicking again. The sudden rush of air was welcomed, making her close her eyes.
Juliettee, Alex, and Crystal didn't register Ryan had run off until the wind blew through the house. The angel looked towards the door and sighed. She really hoped that he was going to be alright.
Ace snapped his eyes towards Lukas. "I need recorded data so I can help you," he stated, pretty seriously. "Sit." He jabbed his finger towards the chair before returning his attention to the screen.
Z frowned at the young genius. Shaking her head, she stepped over to Lukas and gave him a friendly smile as she pulled him closer to the chair. Once she managed to get him into the chair, she pecked a kiss on his cheek and stepped away from the machines. She had before kissed her friends cheeks before, so it wasn't too odd. She was raised in a French inspired culture, after all.
Ace held his finger over the start button. "Fore-warning, if you try to get up, I will strap you to the chair," he put out, giving a sarcastic smile.
Ace didn't hear him at first, as he was frowning at what was on the screen. "Hm?" He hummed, glancing at Brand. "Oh, yeah, sure, whatever." He collected his data from Brand and pushed it into a file on his screen. Then, he pointed to the chair, saying, "Next."
Z looked at Brand than to Lukas before standing up to sit in the chair. She went through the procedure with ease, not caring too much about what was happening. When she was done, she gestured towards the chair while looking at Lukas.
Ariana gave him a quick glance then returned to staring at the wall. It was a good amount of minutes for her to almost fully calm down. Well, there was no really calming down for her at her current state, but enough to stop producing as much electricity. Something in the air and in her behavior gave clue that, mentally, was going to be f*cked up more so than she already was. "I love you, hijo pequeño," she murmured once there was only a slight buzz coming off of her.
Ace picked up a small round disk about the size of his palm off the table nearest him and dropped it onto the ground in front of him. "Simply medical observations," he responded, a large, green holoscreen glowed in front of him, projected by the disk. Everything was in Russian, so no one in the room could read what he was typing in. "I know Samuel can heal, but I need this for tests. Properly monitor your powers and such. Like you." He pointed towards Lukas. "You produce too much friction for your shoes to handle, that's why it's hard for you to stop. I'm going to need to engineer some type of fabric that's resistant."
The medical equipment around Brand come to life and started their work. There was a machine to measure his sight, the length of basically everything; one scanned his limbs and head. As the machines worked, data was rapidly being produced on the holoscreen in front of Ace, his hazel eyes watching it intently.
Z plopped her stuff down on the ground and she crossed her legs, sitting next to it. She watched the machines do their work with her eyebrows raised.
