It's been a while since I have done an rp, so here are some new ideas. All are open to change.

Vague Roleplay Ideas (mxf)

Rules

~ I am 25 and often have some type of mature content in my roleplays. Due to this, I ask that my rp partners are 21+

~ I am comfortable with mature themes such as language, gore, and smut, but it does not have to be included in all my roleplays, so if you do not like that kind of stuff just let me know beforehand.

~ Things I do not do, pedophilia, necrophilia, incest.

~ For my stories I prefer mxf pairings. I can also play either male or female characters, but I do lean more towards male characters because I always have a lot of ideas for them.

~ Romance is a must. I like to have at least some aspect of romance in all my stories, it is just my personal preference.

~ I'd like around 3 paragraphs a post as I feel that is a fair requirement. Sometimes I only write 3 paragraphs, but I will write much more than that if I feel it is necessary.

~ I am flexible when it comes to how often you post. I work full time and am sometimes too busy to make a post once a week, so I'm not going to put a requirement on that. If you are gone for a week or two, and plan on continuing, just send me a pm every now and then to let me know what is going on.

~ I rp through pm.

Plot Ideas

~ A talented witch/wizard who has worked hard to earn their place is forced to take on an apprentice who is their opposite. A novice witch/wizard who lacks magical knowledge, but is naturally gifted.

~ A witch and wizard who are well known rivals wake up one day to discover that their memories of the past five years have been erased. They have forgotten many significant events, including the fact that they are now married. Now they must work together to discover what happened and how their relationship changed.

~ When a Duke passes away in a tragic 'accident' his son, well known for his efforts in the war, takes his place. Many in the kingdom were expecting the new Duke to marry quickly in an effort to solidify his position, but they are shocked when he announces his engagement to a lady whose name is not well known. The truth of the engagement is that the soon to be duchess is in possession of something the Duke wants and devised a plan to force his hand in marriage.

~ A woman on the run takes refuge in an abandoned manor, only to be transported into an alternate universe. Freshly dropped into an unknown world, she is mistaken for another and must use their identity to stay safe and buy herself time until she figures out how to get travel back to her world. However, her secret is quickly discovered by the fiance of the woman whose identity she has stolen.

~ A boy and girl see scenes of each other's lives through their dreams. In a way, they grew up together though they have never met in person. After different tragedies strike them both, they are forced to leave their homelands. With darkness looming on the horizon, they find each other unexpectedly.

~ Having been enemies with her best friend's brother from childhood and into high school, the woman is content when they move apart from each other. Her peaceful life comes to an end years later when they move to the same city and run into each other by chance. They quickly revert back to their old ways of fighting, but the night after they have an explosive argument at the town's famous landmark, they wake up in each other's bodies.

~ Upon the death of the Empress, the kingdoms prepare their princesses for The Rising. Each have their own unique magic and have been training for the competition all their lives in the chance that the current ruler might fall and give them an opportunity to vie for the throne. Though they are powerful, each of them have their own weaknesses. To combat this, each princess is paired with a guardian whose magic is cohesive with theirs. They are skilled warriors who protect their princess and provide them with mana. Guardians are also granted a prize if their princess is victorious. One princess has a guardian whom she has known since childhood, but when he dies in a tragic accident a month before The Rising, her kingdom scrambles to find a replacement. Due to the princess's rare magic, the only suitable match they find is in a slave. With no time to grieve her previous Guardian or earn the trust of her new one, the princess is thrown into the competition.

~ A marriage arranged out of fear from the King of a rapidly dwindling kingdom. A princess who's been hidden away her whole life because of a secret that has been hushed since her birth. And a mysterious Duke who is living a lie.

~ A woman starting a new job discovers one of her coworkers is someone she knew in the past. It doesn't take long for her to discover that not only are they coworkers, but neighbors as well.

~ I am over 18 years old and require that my partner be as well because of mature content.

~ Speaking of mature content, I plan for the roleplays to be as mature as I feel necessary. This means gore, language, mature romance scenes, etc. However, that does not mean that I will have mature content at every moment because I can assure you that I will not. I may even have 10 posts in a row with nothing mature at all, it all depends on what I feel fits the story. I also want my partner to be able to have the freedom to write what they want.

~ Things I do not do: pedophilia, necrophilia, incest.

~ I also only do mxf pairings, even for minor or side characters. I have nothing against fxf or mxm pairings, it's just that mxf is what I am used to and feel most comfortable writing.

~ Romance is a must. And yes, both roleplays will revolve around romance, but there will be plenty of other aspects involved.

~ If you want to leave the roleplay, tell me. I won't bother you about it afterwards, no matter your reasoning. I'll simply move on to another roleplay. But please inform me before doing so. I also expect the same treatment if I decide to leave for some reason.

Plots

Plot #1 (Slice of Life)

After yet another unfortunate event occurs, a twenty three year old woman decides to up and leave her old life. In search of a town in need of a vet that is far from her home state of Kentucky, she comes across a wealthy couple from Montana in need of a personal Veterinarian for their large ranch. Without hesitation, she takes the first plane out there, bringing as many of her possessions she can. She got the job, but had no where to live, and in the small secluded town, the nearest hotel was hours away. The couple offers to let her live in a house that they own, but the problem is that she has to share it with one of their sons who is not at all happy with the arrangement.

The son helps manage the ranch alongside his father. With loving parents and siblings, he seems like he has the perfect family, but they are not without their own tragedies. One in particular shook them to the core and while the rest have managed to cope, the son was dramatically changed from the experience. He hides his pain through anger and struggles to find enjoyment in life. When they first meet, things between the woman and the son start off rocky, but as time passes, they find themselves fighting their attraction to one another. Will she give him a reason to find enjoyment in life once more, and could he be the one to fill the empty void in her heart?

The woman, searching for isolation, instead finds consolation as she falls in love with the town and the people in it.

Extra Info- I can play either the son or the woman, it doesn't really matter to me so whatever one you prefer would be fine. Certain things stated in the plot are subject to change. I am also looking to have some fun and different characters. The more hilarious and awkward, the better. Although I do want some humor added, drama and romance among other things will also be included. The townspeople will also be fun and eccentric, with lots of variety because I want to focus on the dynamics of a small town, both its flaws and its strengths. However, we do not have to play the other characters in the town, they can just be side characters or NPC's. If you are still interested, send me a pm letting me know what character you want to play. I tend to send back long replies, so don't be surprised if I do.

Plot #2 (Complex fantasy/apocalyptic idea requiring a lot of discussion)

Since the beginning of time, Gods and Goddesses have ruled the earth. Though they were all powerful and could have whatever they desired, they eventually grew bored. So, to entertain themselves, they created a game. The game dates back for centuries, it first began in an arena called Tar Ro. Each God/Goddess was to choose a mortal between the age of 18-21 to represent them and the chosen mortals were forced to compete in a battle to the death. Naturally, the Gods cheated and bestowed powers upon their chosen mortal. Secret powers. This is why the individuals were called Arcana, meaning secrets. The winner won the ultimate prize of immortality, but only for a limited time. Once the next game started, the winner would begin to age normally again and have to compete in the game once more. A game comes around every 500 years or so and with it brings a natural disaster such as the plague, famine, volcanic eruption, etc. to distract humans from the Arcana while they compete in their game. The Arcana are also reincarnated, aside from the previous winner, and brought back when it is time to play again.

As history went on, the game became more intricate. The Arcana were eventually know to represent Tarot cards. Each had their own phrase (Their Arcana call) and card to represent them. When the game begins, the Arcana calls are heard in the heads of the other Arcana when they are near each other. It is a way to communicate. Once they see each other, the calls fade until they separate again. The Arcana also see a picture of the others Arcana’s card flash before them when they meet. It is called their tableaux. When a player kills another Arcana, they receive that person's icon, a symbol representing the card, and it appears on their wrist. If a player kills an Arcana that has already killed another Arcana, then that player also receives the icons of the Arcana they have killed. If a player dies of natural causes then their icon goes to the nearest Arcana. The winner will have all 21 icons of the slayed Arcana covering their wrist and going up along their arm. When the next game starts, the icons on the winner fade away. Certain Arcana have chroniclers, people in their family line that record the events of the game so then future players can prepare. Those players have an advantage because they are aware of the game before it starts.

This game starts in 2017, the disaster provided as a distraction being the worst one yet, the apocalypse. Bringing along Zombies, bizarre weather, and no vegetation. It is even impossible to grow plants. One of the players, the Empress, has no clue about the game, thinks she is going crazy because she constantly hears voices in her head and has strange abilities. What happens when the winner of the last game, the card known as Death, tries to kill her only to discover something shocking. Will the two of them team together, and if they do, can they stop the murderous game once and for all?

Extra Info- Death has the power to kill with his touch, among other things, and The Empress can control plant life and is the only one that can grow plants after the apocalypse. It turns out that she is the only one he can't kill with his touch. The reason he doesn't already know this is because in the last game that he won, he never ran across the Empress, only took her icon from another Arcana he had killed. I will go into more detail on this after you pm me. I am looking to play Death in this roleplay, but if you really want to play him, then I would play The Empress. Also, this idea was inspired by a book series, but you don't have to know anything about it. I will tell you the name of the series if you wish to know though. I am also willing to take this plot idea and have it set in medieval times, so if you would rather it play out during that time, then I would be cool with that.

Extra Info- I am looking for someone to play the son. The things stated about the son in the plot are subject to change. I only ask that he is close to his family (He must have at least 3 siblings) and that he had some tragedy happen to his family in the past. You can decide what the tragedy is. I am also looking to have some fun and different characters. The woman I will be playing is very quirky, so the more hilarious and awkward, the better. Plot

*This roleplay is set in medieval times.

By the order of King Alistair, an assassin is hired to kill the princess of Emerthysa. Emerthysa is King Alistair's rival kingdom and he knows that killing the princess will crush the King of Emerthysa as she is not just his only daughter, but his only child.

The assassin he hired is definitely the most skilled, but it is because of his unique gift that he is so successful. He has the touch of death. A simple handshake or kiss to the cheek by him and his victim is dead within seconds. He wasn't born with this gift, in fact it didn't happen until he reached the age of 16. He was dancing with possible brides one night and the next they had all fallen ill and died within days. It wasn't until his power grew in intensity and his touch killed within a instant that he finally realized that his touch was deadly. But by that time it was too late, he had already killed his parents with a simple embrace. With his touch of death also came enhanced strength, speed, and healing. He was always skilled with a sword, but he grew to be inhumanly so. Being ambidextrous also gave him an advantage. The assassin believed he was cursed, damned to this hellish fate that was forced upon him. He envied others, jealous of their happiness. They had no understanding of how harsh a life without touch could be. He had never had the pleasure of knowing a woman and he never would. His days were spent wearing gloves or his gauntlets, covered from head to toe in full body armor so as to be careful not to accidently touch someone.

Fleeing far from his home, he realized that his particular skillset was made for only one thing, killing. Miserable with this curse, he became an assassin and excelled in the job. Countless people he had murdered, men and women alike, with no remorse. His riches grew and his prices raised. Material things were the only thing he could enjoy, so he treated them with care, collecting a various assortment of items.

When King Alistair hired him, he had no qualms about killing the princess, it would be an easy enough task. All he had to do was find a way to get her alone. The assassin did just that, spotting her in the gardens outside her castle one night. He grabbed her and covered her mouth with his gloved hand to muffle her screams as he removed the glove from his other hand. Slowly and gently, he moved his hand to caress her cheek, reveling in the feel of her smooth skin as he always did with his victims as he awaited their deaths. However, no screams of pain came from the young woman, nor did she have the black lines of death forking across her face. He removed his other glove and placed both hands on her face. Nothing. She was still alive.

~Sorry for the long scene into the roleplay, but I wanted to give an idea of the assassins motivations. If you haven't guessed it already, you will be playing the male assassin and I will be playing the female princess. I have two ways that this roleplay could start out, but will save that for the people who are interested. Please know that nothing I have in the scene is set in stone aside from the main points. The assassins history can be changed or just given in more detail and you can do with him what you like. The only thing I ask not to change would be his powers as they are crucial to the storyline. Plot

A King, infamous for his vicious ways, attacks the Kingdom of Desnia. Desnia is not small by any means, but they stood no chance against the vicious King's massive army. Therefore, it became a matter of begging the King to stop the attack. The King of Desnia offered their plentiful riches, their food supply, even men from the kingdom's army, but the vicious King refused to end the blood slaughter. So, days turned into weeks and by then, nearly the entire kingdom was destroyed. As a last effort to save what little of his kingdom remained, the King of Desnia eventually offered this cruel King the hand of his only daughter.

His daughter was still young, but had been eligible for marriage for longer than most women. It wasn't for lack of suitors that she was unwed, but rather because rumors of her beauty had spread causing commotion among the men from other kingdoms. Her father, not wanting to start a war over her hand in marriage, declared that he would find a suitable husband for her himself.

At the offer, the vicious King's curiosity was piqued and he demanded to see her. The King took one look at her enchanting beauty, and decided that she must be his. He was at the age where he needed to find a queen anyways, and could also use a few heirs to secure his family name at the throne.

Thus, the destruction ended and the daughter was forced to marry the King against her will. Now, the wedding ceremony in Desnia has just ended and the King and his new queen are on the ships heading towards his kingdom.
