At least Bethesda treats us like we're people instead of wallets on legs that need milking machines, like EA seems to think customers are.

A wizard has a staff with a knob on the end of it, a wizard has a staff with a knob on the end, of it a wizard has a staff with a knob on, the end a wizard has a staff with a knob on the end!

You're in, @Feisty-Pants. Drop into the CS and have fun!
Two days ago, a dwarf had marched into Ilisandoral's small bookstore and requested an expert in languages and lore. Why they didn't go to Candlekeep for a more active researcher and the fact that he'd have to close his shop made Ilisandoral very unreceptive and he'd almost chased them out, with a copy of Emarshin's Primer for Shaping the Weave thrown at their head for good measure.

Cas, however, had grown more than a little bored being forced to sit and keep the store open. Ilisandoral might hate travel, but Cas found nothing more interesting than new people and new places. Of course, they hired him, grudgingly, but he'd refused to leave his dark carriage all journey. So it was Ardiane who sat on a horse, sidesaddle and cross-legged, playing a jaunty, simple traveler's tune on her flute as the wind blew her long, blonde hair back from her face.

@Feisty-Pants, so if someone drops a ball-bearing in her cleavage, she's just as helpless as if they put a cooking pot on her head or manacles on her. Of course, the former two would be more delaying tactics...
That is incredibly cruel, but I'll say something along the lines of iron (cast iron) might do better.@Feisty-Pants
@Feisty-Pants, why not cellphones or metal?
@Feisty-Pants, kinda, but you're taking the wrong lesson. The light powers could come from that childhood trauma, but what else about her could be drawn on for a weakness? A Wizard Did It, after all.
@Afro Samurai, here's your approval.
@Mercenary Lord, the weakeness is related to the person not the power, and they don't necessarily draw off the same aspect: Spectrum has armour, drawing from her agoraphobia, but their weakness is deep water, drawing off an inability to swim. Dragon's powers come from being in a fire as a child, and his weakness from a deep seated need for love.

They don't necessarily even line up that neatly: Lady Lift could have had a potter for a parent and lived in Tornado Alley, or she almost drowned in a peat bog as a kid and used to spend a lot of time pretending to use Krillin's Destructo Disc from Dragonball Z. Only she knows why wet clay affects her.

In short, we're talking "magic" superpowers, not "science". More the Reckoners trilogy (Brandon Sanderson's the author, great books) than the MCU when it comes to weaknesses.

That's more what I was thinking, @Afro Samurai. Welcome aboard.
I'd like to point out to both @Feisty-Pants and @Afro Samurai that a weakness isn't a logical one: Lady Lift loses her powers in contact with wet clay, Dragon Heart's powers are drained via intimate contact and Phantom stays repowered via tea. The power and weakness are unrelated. So while I like both of your characters, it's worth remembering that little nugget. So while darkness might weaken your angel, it won't be her Kryptonite.
@Daemanis, can I post something? Or are we to wait for all the players?
