At least Bethesda treats us like we're people instead of wallets on legs that need milking machines, like EA seems to think customers are.

A wizard has a staff with a knob on the end of it, a wizard has a staff with a knob on the end, of it a wizard has a staff with a knob on, the end a wizard has a staff with a knob on the end!

"Nice puppy." Hymn knelt to scratch the dog as the last few goblins got cleaned up. He suspected that Ardiane would be gushing over the little hound, but he was satisfied just paying it a little attention. Its rider had gone off into battle already. It was a well-trained pooch to sit and wait like this. Hymn looked around for any goblins trying to make their escape.

@thewizardguy, the Island mentioned it. Send me a PM and we can straighten out the plotline for Guilt.
@thewizardguy, you could have discussed this with me beforehand. Suffice to say the Kryptonites are less of a concern to the High than a bigger, more apocalyptic event coming up, and if they could perfectly control the population, there wouldn't be any conflict in my RPG and therefore nothing for you people to do but poke at turtles and put down large birds.
@ihinka, precisely. I can go on for weeks as to why the Kryptonites remain part of EC, about how they're recruiting from normal people, very few of them are actual murderers, how most of them have otherwise normal lives, but that's not going to convince Guilt, is it? Guilt doesn't understand and doesn't want to understand.

You don't destroy the ship to kill the rats. You don't burn the farm to remove the locusts. You don't crush large portions of the city you're protecting to remove criminals. That's what the High need Epic heroes for.
@thewizardguy, you're making assumptions again.

1) How many innocents have rifles or guns in their houses for self-defense? And again, what's he supposed to do? Crush mothers, brothers, children, parents because they might be involved with the Kryptonites?

2) And didn't he just say they were trying to preserve life? The Ark against the coming Deluge? It's the same thing stopping him killing Guilt: his morals.

@floodtalon, don't worry. Just pick and stick.
@thewizardguy, it's not that they're impossible to assault. It's because they're dispersed. Would Guilt expect the Island to kill children because their mother was working for the Kryptonites? Collapse a university because the Kryptonites recruited in the cellars beneath the library? I'll have this in the reply, but I figured it was worth saying now.

@floodtalon, the harpies and the Dragon/Blacklight fight are taking place in different parts of the city. Pick one or the other to get involved in.

But I did picture that horse-riding bounty hunter from Cowboy Bebop with your post. Andy, I think...
@Mercenary Lord, I would if i knew what a shakeweight was.
@thewizardguy Guilt: "Do the impossible, then I'll play nice."

I'll have a post up for Spec and Dragon in a while.
The harpies aren't the problem...
@Old Amsterdam, Just done. Everybody say hello to Blacklight. Then try and get the civilians out of the way while the brothers sort out their grievances.
