[[Forgive me if it's not the greatest, it's 2am right now; but I'm so excited to start]]

The raining was pounding down across the earth and the thunder bellowed across the sky. The trees howled as their branches thrashed about and some even broke. Animals scattered, seeking out shelter as debris flew through and cracked against boulders. Leaning against a tree, she hugged her cloak tighter around her body and used the tree to protect her from the winds. Crouching lower to the ground, she cursed under her breath. She scanned the area the best she could to find some kind of shelter.

She spotted a small burrow that was surrounded by large rocks. It must be perfect to keep the rain out. Or at least she hoped. Holding steady on her feet, she moved towards it. Her body swayed and skid across the muddy grass. She shivered as she was drenched in the cold rain and jumped everytime lightning cracked across the sky. As she drew closer, her foot was caught beneath a large root and twisted. Her ankle made a loud cracking sound as she slammed to her knees in the mud. She let out a loud shriek in pain and grasped her ankle. The wind seemed to blow harder, if that were even possible. Covered in mud and injured, she curled her body against the tree. She could not stand, a siring pain ran up her leg; her ankle was broken.

Alignment: Neutral
Personality: Kai is a bit of a loner, has often kept to himself. When he is around others, particularly a crowd; he's quiet. With one individual he may talk a bit--but not much. He is not quick to anger and seldom shows his emotions.
Background: Kai was a born vampire into the colony, but chose to break away as he did not agree to senseless killing. He had little respect for other races, but if he didn't have a reason to kill; he didn't. He "lives" in the forest, but drifts from village to village.

To answer questions, I'm sorry I messed up a bit, yes some of the races are "hiding" as they're trying to avoid a full blown war. Our characters are the ones that wish to venture out, seek something or pursue the dangers. Not really rebels, but our characters should be ones that don't want to hide anymore. If you'd rather make an elf, dwarf or a demon, feel free. ^^ It is not limited to just one race, I would love a mixture.

Personality: Rena tends to keep her composure in stressful situations, however, she can "explode" if held in too long. She is very sensitive and shy to certain subjects, or around certain people. Once she has gotten used to you, she is very open and often can be flirty; even though she doesn't mean it. She has a hot-temper and can turn a 180 degree mood in a blink of an eye. She is very caring none the less for those she loves and grows very protective.

Background: Rena is considered the exiled princess. It is said that she is Queen Nessa illegitimate offspring with a elven man who betrayed her. She remembers being forced from the colony and told to never return. She was of age, roughly 20 in human years when this occurred. She feels it happened because her elf qualities were overpowering her vampire ones, and she did not need to feed on blood like the others. To avoid questioning, her mother simple through her out into the wilderness on her own.
