OK. The character apps are in the standard form... Age, Gender, Pokemon, etc. Nothing above Lv. 30 (minus Gyms). There are four factions to choose from:
Rocket: An evil organization bent on ruling the Earth. Their prominent types are Normal, Poison and Dark.They have four ranks: Newbies, Grunts, Executives and Admins.
Trainer: Freeroam around the world. Few rules, no type restrictions.
Towns: Align yourself with a town. The prominent types are normal, water, fire, and grass.
Galaxy: The remnants of Team Galactic, who have chosen to only use Psychic and Dark types. They are no longer evil, but seek to get their Pokemon to the highest power.
Once you have chosen a faction, you must align yourself with good or evil. (This only applies to Trainers and Townsmen.)
The first person to apply gets to be the Champion. The champion can have up to three different types on their team, and is allowed to wander. The next four must be the Elite Four, and every Pokemon on their team must share a type. The next eight to apply will become Gym Leaders, and the same rules apply. But to travel, you must step down.
LORE: The region of Kalos has become a supercontinent, but the only changed location is the League, which is the northernmost settlement in Kalos. Along with the cities featured in X and Y, there are many nameless villages populated with fewer than 1,000 people. The Badlands have shifted south, and everything south of Santalune, along with Cyllage City, has been destroyed. To go into the Badlands, a hazmat is required due to previous nuclear wars. Every Pokemon except Mewtwo, Deoxys, Arceus, and Girantina can be found in New Kalos.
