Cameras flashed, as the young heroes all walked alongside their mentors, heading towards the public headquarters of the Justice League, the Hall of Justice. Fans were kept away by a series of velvet ropes on either side of the entrance walkway, as many waved and yelled to try and get the attention of at least one for a decent picture. A sizable amount of people showed up to tour the Hall today, as it was rumoured that they may get a quick glimpse of their favorite heroes.

"Speedy! Speedy, over here!" One man yelled out, as he tried to grab Kid Flash's attention.

Robin had learned a long time ago to always keep a cool, calm demeanor, no matter how he was feeling on the inside. This was definitely a moment where he put his training in that field to the test. As they walked closer and closer to the Hall, he couldn't help but smile. Seven years of being nothing more than Batman's sidekick, it was satisfactory to know he was finally stepping into the big leagues. One step closer to becoming his own man.

Batman noticed Robin's grin, as he rested a hand on the boy's shoulder. "Today's the day." Batman assured him.

"This is the first time all five sidekicks have been together in the same place." Robin noted openly.

"Don't call us sidekicks. Not after today." Speedy snapped back at him, as the word clearly hit a nerve.

The group entered the building, as they were met with seven enormous statues of the seven founding League members. Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Aquaman, Green Lantern, and Martian Manhunter. Just under it was an automatic sliding door, that read: 'Authorized Personnel Only'. The door suddenly slid open, as Martian Manhunter and Red Tornado stood just beyond the entryway to greet them.

"Robin, Wonder Girl, Zatanna, Kid Flash, Speedy, welcome." Martian Manhunter greeted them, as he gestured them to follow him further into the Hall. "You now have unlimited access to the gym, our fully stocked gallery, and of course," The alien paused, as he stepped into the comfy looking room. "Our library." It was a large, open room, with an endless amount of books, records, and dvds all along the walls. There were leather chairs and couches scattered around in the corners, with a few tables here and there, and a single computer, with an enormous screen in the center of the back wall.

"Make yourselves at home. Mi casa es su casa." Green Arrow smirked, as he walked with the other League members to another sliding door, just beside the enormous monitor.

Robin followed along, as he took a seat on the closest couch to him. He didn't mind waiting for whatever the League had planned, he was already so overwhelmed with what they had already given him. Full access to the League's headquarters? He had never even been inside before!

Speedy decided to stay standing, as he folded his arms. Even now, they were treating them like kids.

"Quick debrief on the coincidence of five ice villains attacking on the same day, we shouldn't be long." Batman calmly told the sidekicks, as he turned back to the door. A circular camera came down from a hidden compartment from the ceiling, as it scanned each League member with its' eye. "Recognized, Batman, 0-2." It moved on to the next hero, "Wonder Woman, 0-3. Flash, 0-4. Green Arrow, 0-8. Martian Manhunter, 0-7. Red Tornado, 1-6. Zatara, 1-1." Once it had finally finished confirming everyone's identity, Batman began to lead the group into the room ahead, as the sliding door opened up to give them access.

On a suspension bridge, cars swerved violently out of the way, as they tried desperately to dodge the maniac in the middle of the road. Icicle Jr. laughed maniacally, as he froze the air around him to create an enormous wall, which caused many cars to crash and flip upon impact. He walked forward, passed his wall, as he started to throw sharp icicles, one after another, at the oncoming cars' windows. Suddenly, a green arrow pierced right through his shoulder, causing him to stumble backwards slightly. About a dozen more arrows followed soon after, landing all along his ice wall. "Finally! I was wondering what a guy had to do to get a little attention around here!" The maniac laughed, looking upward, as the arrows all began to flash a bright red color, following by a beeping sound, in sync with the flashes. The arrows all exploded simultaneously, as Icicle Jr. went staggering left and right. He rubbed his head in pain, as his eyes floated back above, to get a good look at his attackers.

Standing on one of the bridge's towers were Green Arrow, and his partner, Speedy. They both reloaded their arrows in unison, seemingly rather calm.

"Show me what ya' got, heroes!" He laughed, launching a series of sharp icicles up at the duo.

"Junior's doing this for attention?" Speedy questioned, as the duo shot out another round of arrows to stop the icicles in midair. The arrows exploded upon impact, stopping only about half of the onslaught. The two quickly jumped out of the way to dodge the other half, as they ran along the cables to get a closer shot. The icicles completely froze over the top of the tower, as Icicle Jr. prepared for another wave. "I'm tell you now, this little distraction better not interfere." Speedy angrily spoke, as he jumped up to dodge another icicle, simultaneously shooting out another exploding arrow at the attacker.

The ice villain created another wall in front of him, as it caught two more arrows. The wall exploded, but Icicle Jr. was left unscaved.

Speedy dodged yet another icicle, performing an impressive flip in the air to do so. As he fell towards the bridge, he shot out one last arrow, one with an odd, silver, rounded tip.

Icicle Jr. tried to dodge it by swaying to the side, but it ended up hitting him right in the jaw, causing him to fall backwards, into the ground.

Green Arrow and Speedy both landed on the bridge, as they approached the villain, cautiously.

The mentor knelt down beside the unconscious boy, as he began to chuckle to himself. "Kid had a glass jaw." He laughed, as he turned to Speedy.

"Hilarious, can we go? Today's the day." Speedy impatiently re-informed Green Arrow.
Captain Cold is my new favorite villain with all those ice puns. @Shazbot21

Crowds of people flooded out from the park in a panic, as many screamed and trampled over one another to escape from the monster behind them. A woman tripped over onto the ground, as a man, presumably her friend, stopped to help her up.

"Come on, we have to keep moving!" The man by her side frantically told her, as he helped her up to her feet. Just as they rose back up, a shadow hovered over them. Sweat poured down the man's face, as he still held onto the girl's hand. He slowly backed away from whatever was causing the shadow in front of them, slowly guiding the girl as well. Without warning, he broke out into a run, pulling the girl along to follow. They only got a few steps away before suddenly being hit by a bright blue beam, instantly freezing them both in a giant mass of ice.

The screams only got louder and more frantic, as Mr. Freeze continued to blast at the fleeing crowd with his freeze-cannon, seemingly almost at random. He charged the weapon to shoot another deadly beam, but was suddenly interrupted, as a batarang hit the weapon from the side. The weapon was knocked off course, as instead of shooting another family, it froze a tree. Mr. Freeze growled, as he slowly turned to face the direction the batarang came from. "Batman, I was wondering when you'd show up." He angrily muttered. Of course, the Dark Knight was nowhere to be seen, as Freeze only faced the forest just beyond the open park area. Laughter echoed from the forest, then from the park benches to his left, and then from behind him. It seemed to be coming from all directions. He slowly turned, cannon-ready, as he tried to follow the laughter.

Without warning, Robin landed right on the villain's glass dome, knocking him off balance once more, as he quickly jumped back off before Freeze could have time to counterattack. Mr. Freeze fell flat on his stomach this time, as Robin quickly threw two more batarangs at his dome before landing back onto the ground. Freeze's dome cracked in various places upon impact, as he slowly brought himself back up to his feet, noticeably embarrassed and frustrated. "Oh, Boy Wonder, the Bat sent you to drag me off to prison? Frankly, I'm underwhelmed." He angrily expressed, as he prepared to fire a beam at his new opponent.

"Fantastic, but, I'm sort of in a hurry here." Robin replied with annoyance, as he simply stood there in front of Freeze.

"Kids, always in such a rush." Freeze smirked, as he charged his cannon.

"I'm not talking to you." Robin smiled back.

Immediately Freeze realized it was all a decoy, as he quickly turned around. Of course, it was too late at this point, as Batman came speeding down from the sky, his fist pulled back. His punch broke through the already damaged glass, knocking Freeze unconscious.

Powers/skills/abilities/weapons: Thanks to the good ol' Dark Knight, Dick Grayson has gone through intense body conditioning to have it reach it's peak. His speed, stamina, agility, strength, all close to near-perfection for the human body.

He is also a trained martial artist, acrobatic, and marksman.

AND ON TOP OF IT ALLLLLL...Dick Grayson has great deductive reasoning, is a master hacker, a strategic planner, and can understand and speak a number of different languages. I think that's about it.

Personality: HMMM, I don't know, I'm not good with this. I think he feels a lot of weight on his shoulders, having to live up to someone like Batman. XD

I don't want to do this. ;_;

Weakness: Robin is still a human being, and so, is subject to anything that could harm a human being. XD
He also has the weakness of not being a very good team-player at times. Having worked with Batman for so many years, he forgets that not everyone's going to pick up on the subtle clues and commands relating to his next movement. Often times seemingly disappearing without a word to the rest of the team.
UHHH, Robin can also sometimes get overconfident in his abilities, which could end up leading to a downfall, or three. XD

Hiya! Welcome, one and all, to my Young Justice thread!

For the few that don't know, this roleplay is based off the amazing television series of the same name. It focuses on a team of teenage superheroes, within the DC universe, struggling to get recognition as anything more than sidekicks.

This roleplay will (hopefully) copy the same type of story, action, and characters.

A faint, embarrassed blush became visible on the announcer's face, as he cleared his throat. "Well, without further ado, let's get this fight started!" He exclaimed through the microphone, as he jumped back to the corner of the platform. The crowd went wild, as many were split between rooting for either Jackie Chun or Majin Eve.

"Begin!" The announcer exclaimed, as the gong was hit, signaling the start of the battle.

Jackie Chun stood there, with a calm composure, as he stared at his opponent. "I suppose I'll make the first move." He muttered, sounding quite serious, as he suddenly sped off towards Majin Eve. He rose both his hands high into the air, as he continued his dash. "Grabby, grabby!" He laughed quite crazily, as the old man suddenly leapt into the air. He dove to tackle Majin Eve, both of his arms still outstretched in front of him. If Majin Eve didn't do something quick, Jackie was going to go in for a, er, potentially devastating chest-grab attack!

(*COUGH* SOMETIME DURING THE WEEK *COUGH*)

(Also, the uniforms, here: )

Simon was now dressed in a simple white t-shirt, black shorts, carrying a heavy-looking backpack, as he hiked through some of Zem's very own jungles. Surrounding the two were six of Zem's most elite soldiers, each one wearing the same, black and yellow uniform. The visors all seemed to be extremely tinted, as one would only see a yellow reflection when staring into one of the guard's faces. Two in the front, two in the back, and two on either side, completely surrounding the Rebel.

Simon found himself in awe at the sight in front of him, with the variety of shapes, sizes, and colors every tree and plant came in, varying either quite greatly, or just slightly from what you'd find on Earth. A peculiar, bright blue, beetle of sorts flew past Simon, as his eyes watched it the whole way. He turned his head almost completely around, as the Rebel observed it fly off in the distance. Simon wasn't watching where was going, and ended up bumping right into one of the guards in front of him. The guard didn't budge at all, but simply continued walking, Simon, however, stumbled backwards, falling right into one of the men behind him.

The guard held out his arms, and caught the hero from falling on his butt.

Simon slowly brought himself up to his feet, as he turned to face the alien who caught him. He was going to say thank you, but simply froze, as he stared into the intimidating yellow visor.

"Keep moving." The soldier ordered, his voice sounding slightly garbled, as it came out of the helmet.

"Look, guys," Simon awkwardly laughed, as he immediately turned away, and continued to move forward. "Is all of this really necessary? I mean, this whole bodyguard thing. I am a superhero, you know, I can handle whatever comes my way."

"Dr. Spurber, I understand what may be going through your mind, but, you're our guests, and we have direct orders to keep you safe, no matter what." The guard directly in front of him informed Simon, keeping his eyes forward, alert.

"Is this planet really all that dangerous, though? Everything, and everyone, I've seen so far has been so peaceful." The Rebel continued to question.

The guard suddenly stopped, as he pointed off in the distance; an old, half destroyed temple was visible. It was covered in mold, and looked to have been abandoned for quite some time.

Virus pulled out a pair of odd red goggles from his backpack, as he strapped them onto his face. He turned the lenses of the goggles slowly, as he carefully zoomed in to the temple. It wasn't just a temple, but an entire city in the distance, abandoned. Various skeletons were scattered across the land, as most were half-crushed under debris.

"You've just been shown what they've wanted you to see. Not everything's so glamorous, Dr. Spurber. We have a lot of enemies, and with the games going on, this planet can get 'all that dangerous'. A lot of people would love to try and take out Zem's favorite heroes, and while I trust you can handle yourself on your own planet, this is foreign terrain, with the kind of enemies that are very foreign to you." The guard continued to explain, as he simply continued walking along the trail. "We're almost there."

Simon's heart sank, as he saw all of the bodies. The scientist slowly took off his goggles, as he stuffed them back into his backpack. He heard a soft 'squeak' sound from below, as he took a step forward. He looked down, only to find an old, dirty doll lying under his foot. It could've belonged to someone from the abandoned city. "W-Who did all this?" Simon questioned, as his heart rate started to speed slightly. The destruction only reminded him of the possible future of his own planet, if S.E.C.R.E.T. weren't to be stopped.

(I'll continue this later. Sorry for the bad writing.)
