What is one prevailing trait or element in your RP characters?

Every female character is not straight. And very few of my male characters are completely heterosexual.

Basically gay everywhere

It's like someone asking you to pay for a pile of rotten fish because ONE fish wasn't rotten. xP

But I shouldn't go on this rant here. Gender and sexuality politics in media is a long complex thing that needs it's own topic elsewhere.

Ah, that. On some rare occasions, people who like homoerotic pairings assume others who do as well, except they don't wonder why people who like F/F have no interest in M/M.

It's like, "We both like Skittles! What's the problem?" "Yeah, but I only like the green ones. No reds, sorry."

Yeah like...I'm a queer woman! Part of my reasons for roleplaying is to play out relationships I'm not going to get for myself from media. And queer women are even rarer than queer men in media and even worse when they do show up they're usually killed off or alone and miserable because we can't be happy in the end either.

So I roleplay mostly queer women characters. So people acting like I must also play queer men is kind of rude.

I considered slapping on an 18+ sticker for my dark roleplays because it'll be morbid like "Exorcism of Mary Rose", but worry people think it's more like "Fifty Shades of Grey". :c

I had one person, despite the clear f/f in the title of my ad, as for a m/m pairing right away. :| And they clearly wanted a exclusively smut RP because when I explained I wanted f/f only they immediately asked for a sado-maso RP...

I'm asking for a bit of bolding for category title, keeping different images for one person in hider(s) instead of cascading, and not clumping paragraphs like mashed potato.

Is it really rocket science to put a character profile together?

That bugs me too. I try really hard to make my character sheets look nice. And it's not actually that difficult!

@wolf paws: See I'm starting to consider hiding my 18+ into my post because I end up running into a lot of people who take the 18+ to mean an RP that's barely toeing the line of cyber sex. @___@

When really it's there as a warning that sexytimes between characters can happen but I still fully expect the effort you'd expect from any other RP. I'm not here to write sex, I'm here to write character interaction and a lot of the times romance. And sex has a lot to do with both of them.

It's gotten to the point where people see the 18+ and completely ignore that I specifically want f/f romance, which is right in the title. M/f and m/m only being on the table when doubling is involved, described in the post.

I've had so many people ask me questions that could've been answered if they just read my post. I'm a pretty flexible RPer, as such there are very few original ideas I won't do. So I haven't bothered to make a list of genres for original RPs because I am willing to do almost anything.

I explain this in my post, directly before listing fandoms I like and are willing to RP with.

You know how many times I get 'Well I don't know many fandoms and don't really RP them...'.

Great. Good. If you read the damn post you'd know I'm perfectly alright with original RPs.
