In re tags: My first RP that I GM'd covered a fairly wide array of options. I tagged all the things I thought of that fit, and then was informed I could only have 5 tags. I understand from a visual perspective why this makes sense, but could we possibly remove that limit and instead only show the first 5 tags or so in areas where space is an issue? Obviously, this means the system -could- be abused, but that would be something for moderators to keep an eye on. More options for tags in general would be great too, and perhaps even an option to create our own tags (of course if they're not a common tag, searching for them would be useless).

This would be great, we can put the 5 most relevant tags first then people can go into the thread to see all the tags selected just underneath the title of the thread?

Creating tags would be nice too. I roleplay mostly exclusively fxf roleplays (with doubling options because I'm nice like that) so being able to tag that because people seem to not read my title or my thread would help.

Maybe three times will be better than just two :P

Throwing in my two cents as a mostly lurking member since pre-Guildfall.

First thank you @Buddha for making this thread as well as others who contributed. I've sort of skimmed over everything so here's my thoughts:

1. As someone who roleplays 18+ content, yes please lets add either a tag or a 18+ subforum of some kind. In a pure organization level this would be great.

2. Allowing more tags in general would be nice as well. I have a very open and vast interest in a variety of genres and 5 is way too limiting. I literally do everything but Horror, Arena, Nation RP, and Historical. That leaves a lot of genres with not enough tags to cover it

3. I don't agree with merging Nation, Arena, and Tabletop with anyone, including each other. While they might not be as active, they don't clutter enough to be an issue (I can easily browse using my phone if that's enough of a indication) and they need visibility since they're not as popular as other purely play by post roleplays.

4. I'm down with more mod visibility and more mod action. I have personally just ignored and quietly bitched about certain behaviors that I felt broke the rules but didn't report because I didnt feel like any action would have been taken. It's nothing personal against the mods, as I like most of them as people in general, but it is what it is.

I don't personally have answers for exactly how to make this work but I figured another voice chiming in might help convince some these are issues that need work.

I'm so desperate for a better PM system. I have loads of PMs just cluttering my inbox, some I want to save, some I want to delete but there's so many doing them one at a time is tedious and not worth it.

Greetings I am Rica. I'll keep this fairly short. First off, just because it says 18+ doesn't mean I'm looking for a smut escapade. I want some stories. I want some plot. That said I have very few limits. And my expectations for post length or anything similar is mostly just 'gimme enough to respond to'. So like a paragraph and up please and thank you.

I'm a chatter and like to interact in OOC with my partners, mostly to excitedly gush about our RP or future plans for the RPs. I get excited really easily and like to share that excitement with my RP partner.

I almost exclusively RP f/f pairings however I'm open to both m/m and m/f if you're willing to double up with me. It's that simple. (Non-binaries and other identities are completely welcome :) )

I understand if life gets in the way, so please please at least send me a message. I promise I won't get upset or angry with you, even moreso I'm more than willing to work around things. Life happens.

Now to the juicy bits

For original based RPs I will do anything. Literally anything. Give me a setting and minor plot and chances are I'll do it or twist it to make it better to my liking. I'm a pretty chill person like that. There are only two genres I probably will not do:

-Horror
-Historical

I'm not familiar enough with either and Horror, frankly, scares the pants out of me so I'm not good at working with the concept either.

I have a few plots bouncing around my head and whole host of characters to choose from, so please don't be deterred by the lack of list of what I want. I simply find a list of genres a little redundant when there is very little I won't do.

Specific Plots

You've Changed So Much

A young woman comes home from college after 2 years of being away (due to circumstances no one could really control) utterly changed. Dyed hair. Smoking habit. And...a lesbian?

This RP I'd like to leave heavily on the relationship within the family while also working toward some romance between the college kid (Which would be my character) and another person. We can discuss the details out further.

Tale As Old As Time

For this I'm interested in a modern day twist on Beauty And The Beast. I'd play the Beast who's a young woman turned monster that's hidden away in a abandoned house because her misanthropic ways upset the wrong person. She was turned as a teenager and has until a certain age (changes depending on if we're playing teens or adults) to find someone to love her. Believing that it was impossible because she's well aware people don't like her. She hid away and is now on her very last year alive.

Which is when your character comes in as the 'Belle' in this situation and either sticks around out of the goodness of her heart or is forced to stay due to circumstances. We can plot that out ourselves.
