"What kind of King do you plan to become, my dear?"
Just as blank and unresponsive as Kali was, Liesl stared ahead with brooding eyes. The only difference was, she had an answer. "It's not that simple. You can't plan to become King. It's not definite." Her eyes drifted to the Doctor's and she jumped down from the sofa arm, staring at the book Dr. Long carried in his arm. "But if fate carries me to become the King, I will do the best I can in making the Mamodo World a safe place for everyone."
"A Kind King?"
Liesl nodded, staring ahead. "Just as you are King of the Medical World, saving people, holding people, carrying people to the end of a dark tunnel, I will do the same." She turned back to face him, and Dr. Long grinned, setting his cigarette pack in his pocket. "Well, we better get to it, then, love."

Liesl stood in front of her opponent, her hands confidently in her pockets as she stared at him with boring eyes. A boy quite older than her, with an older, cocky woman to match. Liesl could sense ugliness in their heart, but that was the very thing that strengthened their power from within. "It's useless!" The boy screamed, smiling with sharp fangs. "Just let me burn your book, weakling! Ha!"
"Fureido!" A burst of fire shot towards the two, and Liesl dodged with ease, only having to move her head. Dr. Long smirked, holding his cigarette out towards the fire, having it perfectly lit. He took a drag, sighing heavily. "My, my, they're not very smart at all, aren't they, Liesl?" He grinned, and the mamodo boy's eyes widened when he noticed the girl's disappearance.
"Reisu." The Doctor's book glowed, and the partner and mamodo were immediately hit with a powerful ball of gravity, their book burning instantly. Liesl walked past the fainted body of the woman, shutting her eyes and fixing her curly hair. "We didn't even have to use our strongest attack once." She murmured, stretching her arms. "What's next?" She asked.
Dr. Long frowned. "Well, you do need to think about accepting Kali and Sev's offer, don't you?" He asked, taking another drag. Liesl began walking in the direction towards town, her hands behind her back. "I know. In the meantime, buy me dinner." She commanded, looking up at him. Dr. Long laughed and nodded, hoisting her up and allowing her to sit on his shoulder as they walked.
