Taking it's speed into account Eve eyed the giants legs as it jogged through the tree's. Staying out of arms reach from the giant, the red head sorted through thoughts in her mind as she tried to think of a plan. It would be too dangerous to rush the Titan, even dull titans were unpredictable, and with the veterans watching over them Eve didn't want to mess up or have one of them killed on their first day. Still, this was a good time to show off their skills to the soldiers, and the commanders. Wanting to be smart about this, Eve casted a quick glance over to Xia before turning her focus back at the Titan ahead, "We need to take out it's legs!--" Keeping pace with the other girl, the red head explained her fast plan as she tried to build up her own confidence, "I'll cut it down, and once it's on the ground and an easy target for you, take it out!"

Aiming her hooks out once she was sure Xia was ready, Eve took to the right side of the Titan. Staying low to the ground, her grip tightened along her swords as she waited for the right moment to strike. If she wasn't fast enough the red head knew she would get tangled up in the Giants legs. Not wanting to get squashed by the dull beast, the girl focused on her target as she aimed out her gear at a tree further ahead. With a sharp thunk, the wires of her gear tugged at her sides before a sharp hiss rang through the trees. Gathering momentum thanks to her gear, her little form circled the trunk with great speed before she threw herself between the Titans legs. Twisting her body into rotation, Eve dragged her blades through the Titans achilles tendon, successfully severing it and sending the Titan to the floor. Caught up in the speed of her attack, Eve gave grunt as she failed to slow down and tuck and rolled onto the ground harshly. Forcing herself up as she laid on her side, Eve shouted up at the other girl as the Titan began to regenerate it's leg, "Now Xia!"

Arriving back with the group after returning the horse to Alexander, Eve awaited instructions with the other graduates. Her eyes sat along the commander as the woman shouted out their orders, "Alright new recruits, here's the deal! You will be taking the Titans out by yourselves, and with each other. You won't get any help from experienced members or me unless it's absolutely needed, and even still that's not a reason to not give this all you've got! Now straighten up and fly with me!"

As everyone seemed to pair or take off on their own, Eve was left questioning what to do. Catching sight of Henry already taking off into flight Eve pulled the reins of her horse towards the other red head before a familiar shout forced her attention back. "Come at me, Titan! Hiya!" With a group of Titans traveling behind her, Xia headed away from the group and into the forest. Knowing that the other girl was fully capable of taking of herself, Eve couldn't help but grow concerned about the size of the group following behind her. With the snap of the reins, Eve took off behind Xia and the group of Giants. Figures buzzed above her like flies, as Titans came crashing down to the left and right of her. Under the watchful eye of the Veterans and the Commander, the Trainees seemed to be having a hay day, and Eve couldn't wait to be apart of it. Keeping her focus ahead, Eve caught sight of her friend as she made the finishing blow to the remaining Titan. Casting a confused look around, Eve narrowed her eyes as a thought ran through her head, 'Wasn't there two of them?..'

Out of the corner of her eye the red head caught a tall figure looming through the trees and towards Xia. 'A 10 meter' The second Titan that had been trailing behind her had found it's own way through the forest towards Xia. With it's sights set on the other girl, she dug her heel into her horse once again, "Lets go!" Galloping towards the giant, Eve kept a steady pace behind the the beast. As it towered above her, the red head did her best not to catch the Titans attention. The thought of it's focus changing onto her brought hesitation into the girls mind, forcing her to rethink her plan. Tightening her grip along the reins Eve narrowed her eyes as her heart pounded in her chest, 'It's now or never!' Steadying the mare, the girl placed a hand against hide of her horse before pulling her legs up and balancing along the saddle. Keeping her knee's bent and her arms out to steady her as the horse galloped forward, the red head sucked in her breath as she hopped off the animal and fired her grappling hooks into the Titans shoulders.

A loud hiss erupted form her gear as steam poured out and sent her flying. With her blades hanging low, and her red hair trailing behind her like fire, Eve dragged the steel of her swords through the giants nape. Steam, and blood poured from it's wound as it fell with a heavy thud. As her hooks retracted, Eve landed a few feet before Xia as she skidded to a halt. Adrenaline pumped through her veins as a wild look had come into the red heads eyes. Small, excited pants came from the girl as she turned around to look at her fallen prey. Her first Titan, and hopefully not her last. Flashing a grin at the other girl once she turned around, Eve brushed off her shoulders playfully as she walked towards Xia, "Couldn't let have all the fun.~"

I've actually had a hard time getting back into roleplaying since the fall.
To be honest, this is the most interest I've put into a roleplay in a while.
Which isn't a bad thing, since I really missed this place. :b
(I've also been dying for another AOT roleplay to start, so I'm really glad I caught this in time.)

Pent up energy welled up within the small red head as she adjusted her posture along her horse. Gracing a hand along the mares neck, Eve cooed out gently to the horse as it shifted uneasily between the other soldiers. Casting a glance at the crowd Eve picked out the veteran soldiers, from the freshly graduated trainees. Their experience out on the field was evident in their eyes and composure. Most of the graduates either looked terrified, or too eager, but it was clear that no one was expecting this to be a walk in the park. Many of her division had never seen a Titan before, so this was going to be a wake up call for many.

As she searched the crowd, Eve finally found Xia among the front. The taller girl had been rather eager for this moment, so it was no surprise that she wanted to be one of the first out. Henry on the other hand was only a few horses away from her. Her childhood friend looked as ready as ever, slipping on a weary smile once they made eye contact, Eve focused her attention ahead as soon as the Commanders voice rang out, "Open the gates!"

Blood flooded into her ears, and her heart thundered in her chest. 'This is it.' Grip tightening along the reins, Eve felt a shiver run down her spine as sun light shined down upon her once the gates were wide open. 'This is really it!' Like a herd, the Legion took off. Passing beneath the gate, Eve stared back at the wall one last time before snapping the reins and taking off and keeping pace with the rest of the Scouts. Galloping past tree's and abandoned buildings, the red head took in everything. While they weren't far from home, the world outside of the Walls was unlike anything she had ever seen. Massive trees, old buildings, and worn down paths surrounded her. The unexplored world felt like it was just waiting for her to adventure in, but she knew that time would come eventually, right now there were other matters to attend too.

A small shout came from ahead of her as one of the new Scouts tumbled from his horse as the group took a sharp turn. Grimacing at the fall, Eve clicked her tongue in frustration as she though to herself, 'Dammit, we haven't even been riding for ten minutes!--' Leaning forward along her horse, the red head bumped the heal of her boot into the mares side causing it to speed up as she tried to catch up with the riderless steed. Wind roared in the girls face as her eyes squinted in concentration. Coming up next to the horse as it continued to travel alongside the group, Eve outstretched her hand and began to carefully lean out to reach for the reins. With a small anxious huff, she snatched the reins and gave both a light tug as the horses began to slow. Quickly leading the horse back to the fallen graduate, Eve towered above the other as she held out the reins to him. An irritated frown sat along her freckled features now as she stared down at the blonde, "Get up! We don't want to get left behind!"

"Todays the day, isn't it? How are you feeling about all of this?"

The question was almost too surreal for her. It forced her to breathing to hitch in her throat, and goosebumps to rise along her arms. Swallowing hard, and trying to escape any oncoming anxiety, Eve answered Xia truthfully as her eyes landed on Henry before falling to the Instructor ahead, "Terrified." Falling into a salute like the rest of the recruits, she listened carefully as information about the other branches was given out to trainees. Eve kept her salute strong as she waited for another to take to the stand. Once the instructor finished his words a powerful figure stood before the recruits in his place. There she was, Allanah Abend, the Commander of the Scouting Legion.

Excitement rushed through the small girls figure, causing her chest to tighten in anxiousness and her salute to stiffen. She had only met the Commander once before with her father, but that had been many years ago. With circumstances being different now, the experience was on a whole new level for the girl. While she tried to persuade the other trainees to join the Legion, Eve, like Xia, and Henry, had already made up her mind long ago--The Scouting Legion was where she belonged.

Excitement, terror, and the eagerness rushed at the girl like a wave. Overwhelmed with emotions, Eve felt her hands shake, and her palms begin to sweat. All of her training, and hard work was finally going to be put to good use once the day came to an end. Today was the beginning to the rest of her life, today she was finally going to join the Scouting Legion. Her dreams seemed to be in arms reach now, within the next couple hours the patches decorating her coat was going to change to those familiar wings.

A sense of pride built up within the small red head as she finally pulled herself out of her thoughts and began to search for her friend. Her eyes quickly fell among the other Trainees now as they all conversed, and grew excited for graduation to begin. Looking for Xia, Eve trekked through the mob of Soldiers she past the many familiar faces, Eve finally spotted the taller girl before crying out and waving a hand in the air, "Xia! Hey, over here!"

So Rinnee, here's what I was about to write for Xia's thoughts on Eve:Eve (Friend) - Xia met Eve a many times as trainees. They hit if off fairly well, as Eve was serious about her training, which pleases Xia. She later discovered that Eve's own father was part of the Scouting Legion, who was also killed in action, much like Xia's own father. A certain understanding developed between the two, to the point that she would considerably call Eve a friend. Though Xia isn't very big on teamwork, if she had to partner up with someone, she'd want it to be with Eve.

Here's my bit:~

Xia(Friend): During the beginning of Military Training, Xia and Eve had quickly come to know one another on the training field. Xia's dedication towards her training, and hardworking attitude drew Eve in, and as their partnership on the field continued Eve grew comfortable enough to call the other girl a friend. Learning of her past, and slowly gaining Xia's trust, Eve grew fond of the other girl knowing she finally had someone she could relate, and rely on.
