Goblin RP

"You having him working on the dirt again?" Goro asked amused as he watched the old warrior teaching his adopted human the ways of working the soil to bear the fruits of seeds.

"The boy will have a strong back because of it," Kag grunted as he watched the boy expertly swing the pickaxe into the pebbly soil. This was a task the boy had performed thousands of times over, his downward swing was already smooth and effective, the metal blade of the pick easily dug into the soil parting its hard and dry surface.

Kag was constantly making small gardens of different edible plants and seeds. It kept the goblin diet varied and it gave strength to the boy as he worked to make it so. He watched with a little pride as the boy swung over and over again, expertly shuffling down the line making a deep groove. Once the line was complete he would take a smaller pick to break down the dirt and mix it with Kag's personal fertilizer mix that includes crushed bones and the remains of fish and other animals along with the compost of rotting leaves. The mix constantly proved to be effective in its nutrition.

All of this was taught to Kag by a human and it seemed only right that the boy learn it all from him as well.

Sorry this is lackluster at best. If you have any ideas that you want to add or things that you think can be modified on the above, please give me your take on it. In the meantime I will continue looking for those papers, I may just have to go back to my parents' where I probably did leave them.

Zombie World Nation RP

The Beginning of the End

It started off real quietly, so much so that by the time the world discovered the Z18 and Z19 virus, it was already too late. A major portion of the world had already become infected with either of the viruses. The Z18 could be transferred from person to animal and from animal to person, but it would only turn people and, weirdly enough, some deer species. The Z19 was airborne and this one effected more species, a number of varying birds and people. Those that remained fell into two categories, these survivors were either immune or carriers, and with most of the medical practitioners among the dead there were few who could diagnose which person was which.

The number of living human beings went from seven billion to tens of millions in a matter of months, this number has only continued to decrease as the survivors fall to the dead and the living. All of whom are desperate to scrape out their own survival. Among these survivors a few people with the natural given talent of leadership have rounded up a number of survivors and started rebuilding the old world in their image.

They each started small, but as their group survived and their numbers increased, eventually they were able to take control of a small patch of territory which only continued to increase in size, complexity, and population.

Do you have laws? What sort of community are you building? What is its "government"? What is your community's view on killing the undead? Are you trying to recreate a peaceful community inside your walls that shies away from the darkness beyond and focuses on bettering the livelihoods of all or are you building a hardier and more militaristic community? What do you do to keep the community busy? Are there weekly events? Sports?

The human is a complex organism and requires complex maintenance.

Description:

Goro is both among the most athletic of his tribe and the most intellectual. He has survived many hunts and raids through his sheer prowess of mind and skill. After much suffering for his lack of strength he began to display ability as his body began to match the strength of those who would over power him by sheer size and weight.

Skills:

Goro is both a capable warrior and diplomat, always curious, and eager to learn. He does not allow this ambition of his to cloud his mind and maintains the idea the he lives solely for his tribe.

Items:

Spear of woven bones - it is the symbol of his power, it is a spear made of a bear's femur and the tooth of a long fanged viper, both of these were his kills at some point in his life.

Description:

He is a veteran soldier of the ranks, he has served his time and has taken the role of teacher to the latest member of the tribe, a member not of their race, but one with much potential. He has served alongside the chief in his many glorious kills and has thus earned the title of elder, a space just below the leaders of the tribe, where his voice can still be heard. He has many battle scars covering his body, one of which crosses largely against one arm, it was his decommissioning wound. It was earned in the last raid where he adopted a human boy, an action which has left him with much fallout to deal with.

Skills:

Like most warrior goblins he has an understanding of close combat, unlike most goblins, he has honed these skills alongside their leader in such a way that their size is not detrimental in close quarters.

He has, in the years following his retirement, learned the skills of a farmer from a captured human that was later sold or killed, it was never quite clear what happened to him and Kag could care less.

Description:

He is dark skinned, unlike his green skinned clan, he is also always reminded of his lack of blending in. He is at least a foot taller of the tallest goblin and twice as strong at least. His many years following the instruction of his mentor, Kag, has allowed him to earn many skills and a fit body. His ability to hunt, fish, and forage has further allowed him to develop well.

Skills:

Hunting, tracking, farming, fishing, and close combat unarmed and armed.

Items:

His favorite is a wooden pole he used both for fishing and menial tasks. Made of extremely flexible wood.
