Going to put the boring stuff in a hider below and have all the plots exposed so that you can see if you're interested in plots before reading a bit about me and my posting style. Feel free to PM if anything catches your eye and you've read through the stuff in the hider without being completely appalled xD.

1: (Modern day/Slice of life-ish)
MC was riding high as an exec of a high-profile publishing company that fraternized with the likes of Vogue, Newsweek and the Economist among other publications; that is, until the board of directors sold the company out from under him to an uber-wealthy group of investors that emerged from the belly of Los Angeles to swallow up not just their company, but tech firms, private military companies and smaller banks in an effort to do who knows what. MC, stripped of his company and most of his wealth, retreats back to his hometown hundred of miles away to wallow in his misfortune when he is contacted by YC, who promises to give him answers if he just meets them at a specific time and place...
2: (FFVII Remake AU) (Yes, I have a crush on Tifa.) (Who doesn't?)
Avalanche's first attack on Reactor 1 was a horrendous failure. Jesse, Biggs and Wedge were all killed in action. Cloud Strife, mercenary hired to help escort the fledgling eco-terrorists, has gone missing and is also presumed dead. Barrett is the only survivor of the botched raid, managing to clamber his way back to Seventh Heaven and proclaim that someone must have tipped Shinra off about the attack. In a desire to find out if Barrett's claims are true and to try and rescue her friends, Tifa Lockhart (YC) enlists the aid of MC, a local militia member with his own agenda against Shinra, to help her in her search. What they uncover will reveal more not just about the corruptness of Shinra, but how far others are willing to go to protect the fragile realities they call home.
3: Apoc/Post Apoc (Fallout-inspired)
200 years have passed since the war, the Great War that set the world ablaze and left nothing but a gaping ruin. Vault dwellers, survivalists and the few remaining shreds of humanity have managed to create somewhat livable environments in isolated pockets of the world, one of which happens to exist on the remains of Hong Kong Island, near the top of the once proud Victoria Peak. In this small settlement, MC and YC reside, a father and daughter duo that have managed to serve as hunters and gatherers for the small village that exists there. When one of the villagers receives a radio distress signal claiming to have escaped from a "robot hell" and warns of an impending "robo invasion", MC and YC decide to investigate, unaware that their response will lead to more questions about YC's mother and MC's wife's sudden disappearance several years prior, the existence of synthetic life and the potential unification of another world government.
4: Yakuza: The Serpent Rises
With Kiryu Kazuma allegedly deceased and Daigo Dojima having taken firm control of the Tojo Clan a year after the Fourth Chairman's supposed death, life in Kamurocho has returned to normal for the bustling haven of iniquity. Embedded within the city is the very charismatic and equally lazy Shun Akiyama, CEO of Sky Finance, which has since reopened and is back in the business of foisting loans out with no collateral required. Akiyama's daily grind suddenly halts when he is contacted by his club manager, who proclaims that one of his hostesses, Kyomi, was found in a bloody heap in the dressing room. Disturbed that something like this happened at his own club, Akiyama goes to the club to investigate to find that among the wounds Kyomi suffered was a brand emblazoned on her upper back, the kanji reading "The Serpent". Determined to find out who "The Serpent is", Akiyama reaches out to YC for help.
