I'll just have to try really hard to not die early :V

Edit: Also that goblin picture has such an adorable face!
Oh, well if I were to place a vote I suppose I would go for Athena, Artemis or Bastet in that order. No objection to the others, though!
Danke Xalt, I'm glad you like her!

Looking forward to reading other peoples characters, too.

The chief, by contrast, has to lead the tribe into war, make new laws, act as judge and jury in disputes (which might be called legal affairs, but its a very crude system), negotiate with other tribes and outsiders, order new parts of the village to be built (including new fields to be plowed), assign warriors to lead raids (he would only lead the most important raids), and to participate in ceremonies which he has to be a part of.

As for the laws themselves, those are created in two ways: tradition since time immemorial, or proclamations of chiefs when they are popular and powerful. The latter is hard to judge, but a new law made in the aftermath of a major victory or during a record harvest is more likely to be considered legitimate than one made after a defeat or a famine. Victory and prosperity are seen as signs of divine favor, and a chief acting under the aura of such favor is likely to have his laws obeyed more than otherwise.

- The chief can normally order the tribe to do anything he wants, as long as the shaman and leading warriors don't protest too much

The leader of the tribe is the chief, who is always male. His rule is only subject to two limitations: the words of the shaman and the will of the strongest warriors beneath him. He personally leads the tribe into wars, gives approval to raids launched by warriors (which are smaller than a true war), hears cases and settles disputes, and metes out justice when a crime has occurred. The chief is chosen from among the strongest warriors when the previous one dies; the shaman is in charge between the rule of chiefs. This decision is made either by council or by a tournament in which the warriors fights until death or surrender for the right to be chief in a series of armed bouts. Once a new chief is chosen, he is given a ceremonial headdress by the shaman, and given control of the chief's hut. The chief usually has access to whatever adult female he wishes to have, but she can refuse his advances, thanks to the proclamations of the shamans (who explained that the gods frown on those who take a mate against her will.)

@Shadow Dragon

Quoted a bunch of stuff mentioning the chief for you from throughout the thread, so that it's all in one place.
If alright, I'll go ahead and post what I've filled out of a sheet so far - please let me know if anything looks out of place or needs corrected!

Character Sheet Template:

Personal Information:

Name: Leela Aditya
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Race: Amazoness

Appearance: Leela has a fit, athletic build with long legs and, to put in polite terms, is particularly blessed up top. She has dark, mocha colored skin and a careful eye might spot a few scattered, faded scars here and there on her body - long since healed and barely present. She has prominent eyes with long lashes, a heart shaped face, and an up-turned, slender nose. Her eyebrows are thin and soft angled, though often hidden beneath her bangs. She has long, waist-length hair she keeps pulled up into a high set and wild ponytail.

When it comes to her attire of choice, she dresses the same as many of her people do: revealing, colorful clothing and adorned with numerous accessories. She is particularly fond of skirts and sleeveless crop tops, and wears golden bracelets, anklets, necklaces and earrings.

Height: 5'7"
Weight: 150 lb.
Eye color: Light brown
Hair color: Auburn

Personality: Leela is a proud, enthusiastic and vibrant young woman that lives her day to day life in a focused, determined pursuit of the goals she has set for herself: join and excel in a Familia, become a legendary adventurer, and find herself a worthy suitor. As part of this, she invests a great amount of focus into her training, her health, her appearance, her social life, and how others see her. While she is genuinely kind at heart, much of her efforts to be considerate and helpful are with the motivation of being regarded well by others.

Although she tries to be on her best behavior, she does have her faults. She has a competitive streak a mile wide and can easily get wrapped up in high spirited contests, and she has a tendency to be bombastic in her speech and mannerism - making grand gestures and showing little qualms in making physical contact with others. Often this ranges from chastising thwaks upside the head to appreciative hugs and other displays of affection.

At times she fails to consider other peoples comfort zones, or only afterwards realizes how she may have come across as rude or obnoxious, and during those times she is quick to apologize and attempt to correct her behavior in order to save face.

Likes: Competition, Success, Training, Meat, Dairy, Pastries, Diligence, Strength, Honesty, Fashion, Learning.
Dislikes: Insults, Dismissal, Failure, Vegetables, Boredom, Back Pain, Laziness, Weakness, Ugliness, Ignorance.
Hobbies: Sports, Contests, Eating, Exercising, Sparring, Socializing, Flirting, Reading, Cooking, Shopping.

Background: Born in an Amazoness village as nearly all of her people are, Leela's upbringing was the usual fare early on. She had an older sister and a younger sister, she had close friends and those she couldn't stand. Her relationship with her mother was perfectly normal, sometimes strained but more often than not happy and respectful, and she had never met her father. During her early childhood she was energetic and sporty, performing well enough. However, she was aimless and lacking the passion or enthusiasm to really excel at any given activity she participated in.

While some might have been content with such average qualities well into adulthood or throughout their entire lives, she came to find it lacking. After reaching the appropriate age and setting out on her journey to find a suitable mate, she found herself simply... Lingering around, not really doing much more than living day to day. Unable to tolerate this lack of direction, she started searching for something to pursue and devote herself to. Not just something to be good at or make a living through, but to thrive and go above and beyond even the wildest expectations anyone might have for her or anyone else.

Eventually she settled her sights on becoming an adventurer, and with such grand goals it was only natural that her gaze came to rest on the infamous Dungeon of Orario. So, she sought serious tutelage in the ways of combat from those who were or had been warriors at one time or another in their life, traveling across the land from settlement to settlement. She trained, studied, and learned, and once she felt she had a solid enough grasp on the bare minimum needed she set out for Orario. Actually reaching Orario took a few years all on it's own, traveling in spurts mixed with her continued training, camping and the odd job here and there to make ends meet.

When she arrived, she set three goals for herself: join a respectable adventuring Familia as soon as possible, become a legendary warrior like no other by conquering the Dungeon, and keep an eye out for a suitable male to start a family with. Only time will tell how successfull each of these ventures proves to be for her.

Most of that lines up with what I remember, and a few bits I either forgot or wasn't aware of, so that's definitely helpful confirmation. Danke, much appreciated!
Hah, that's why I'm kinda torn! If I do Amazoness though I want to make sure I do it properly, the danmachi wiki is sadly sparse on information about them so I might have to dig through the manga to find any hidden little details on them that I might be forgetting.

Also, unnecessary maybe but still helpful for visualizing strength differences!
No worries! Just helps to have a sheet to stare at and help clink away at bit by bit as ideas for the character form. At the moment I'm torn between an Amazoness or simply a Human girl, and debating on main motive.
Oooh nice, character sheet time~
I don't have a strong preference or suggestions off the top of my head, but that does look like a nice list so far of ones that you might go with!
