Interested! Could be really fun.
Aye, in character matters! Thats why a varied cast is good, though!
In other places she had traveled, her demeanor and appearance would have counted as unusual. The young woman was tall and fit, with long legs and clad in a colorful, immodest skirt and crop top that left much of her dark, mocha skin and well toned musculature on display. She wore golden accessories around her neck, wrists and ankles, and on her ears. She stood tall, walked with confidence and purpose, carrying little more than a spear in one hand.

Here, even just setting foot through the gates of Orario, she could spy other Amazoness in the crowds. Some new arrivals like her, others likely having lived here for some time. They weren't the majority by any means, but it was much more numerous than anywhere she had been since leaving her home village. As she walked along the streets, nearly overwhelmed by the size and noise and crowd, it started to sink in that everything she had ever heard about Orario was true and then some. It was amazing, far more people than she could ever imagine all being in one place.

It was a realization that put a pep in her step, a broad smile on her face, and an eagerness to begin the first steps towards her goals!

Yet, even though she was only one of many Amazoness that came to the city, she did still stand out thanks to one particular feature of hers. Most who noticed were discrete in their glances as she passed, while others gawked openly, and at times fingers were pointed and whispers exchanged. As enamored as she was with how huge and crowded and noisy the city was, the Amazoness hardly noticed any of it - not even when the locals she tapped on the shoulder to ask for directions barely looked her in the eye. She simply thanked them for their assistance and was eagerly on her way once again.

As focused as she was on finding and introducing herself to a Familia that would accept her, she was not so focused as to be immune to distraction. While traveling along South street, she noticed other women dressed not entirely unlike herself pulling people from the bustling street aside to play some manner of game. Curiosity piqued, the Amazoness watched from the sidelines as a young man tried and failed to track a small ball hidden under a quickly shuffled set of cups.

So did the next customer, and the one after that. Rather than suspicion, the Amazoness felt her competitive spirit flare up - this must be a contest of skill, and the man running it must be rather quick and dexterous to be able to defeat others so consistently! Not once had she seen him lose in her short time watching, and so she found herself eagerly approaching with a bounce in her step and the butt of her spear clacking against the ground beneath her feet.

Tucking the spear against her side for a moment, she retrieved the coin purse she kept her modest funds in and lightly tossed it up and down in one hand. As she did, she addressed the game runner in an enthusiastic tone. "You challenge others to match their eyes against your hands, correct?"
Of the group, one was a pale skinned brunette. Laying there in the grass, clad in a dress identical to the only other girl present, she was still and peaceful for a few long moments. Then, all of a sudden, her hazel eyes shot wide open in surprise and fear and she bolted upright with a shriek. A shriek that cut off early, giving way to stunned confusion as the girl glanced about her surroundings. Wasn't there something dangerous and terrifying just moments ago? How did she end up here? Where was her car?

Someone was yelling in a language she didn't understand, and she soon became aware of the fact that she wasn't alone here. There were others, some around her age and some younger as far as she could tell. Her chest rose and fell with heavy, panicked breathing as she sat there in the grass, heart racing and her expression twisted up as she tried to process what was going on.

"Translator Level 1 Acquired!"

She snapped her head around to look for the source of words she actually understood, brown hair whipping against one shoulder from the sudden movement. Panic drained away to simpler, duller bewilderment as she realized she could understand what was being said now. The voice wasn't the one she had heard mention a translator, but the one that had been shouting earlier. She pushed herself to her feet and brushed the grass from her dress, intending to get her bearings - only to freeze up mid motion as the voice from before spoke once more.

"Welcome to Kairelith. Your new life begins here. Please accept the goddess Kaireth's blessing as a commemoration of your arrival."

Once again she looked around in confusion, but this time she noted something... Odd, about the voice. It didn't actually seem like it had a sound to it, like she hadn't heard it with her ears. More... In her head? That was a strange thought all on it's own, and all this confusion and how strange and stressful everything was was giving her a headache. Putting one hand up to rub at her head, the voice in her head continued.

"Decide your path. A second chance was given to you by the merciful goddess, use it wisely."

She didn't know what that meant, but she was starting to get an idea. A new life, a second chance? A second chance for what? Had she done something wrong? Had something happened? And now she was... Somewhere else, as herself but in a 'new life' with a path to decide? And a goddess had done this? What about her family, her friends?

Any further reflection was interrupted by the sudden appearance of balls of light, and for a moment the brunette expected the small group was about to be greeted by the goddess who had saved them - or perhaps angels or some other kind of servant of theirs? Except instead it was a lot of people in medieval looking armor and not any kind of angels or holy emissaries she had ever heard of. Slightly disappointed, she finished brushing herself off and was about to question the mention of 'magic' when a burly looking man started yelling at her and the other people she seemed to have been brought here with.

Taking an involuntary step back, noting the man's hand on his sword, she almost felt like trying to run away. Except, where would she go? She hadn't done anything wrong, either, and running away would just probably get her in trouble or hurt or something. Had a goddess really brought her here just to get yelled at while she had a headache, grass stains on her clothes, and no idea what was going on?

Standing up straight, hands on her hips, the short girl took a deep breath before striding forward to glare up at the much taller, burlier man and replying. "My name is Jackie, and I have no idea how I got here or who these other people are. All I know is it was probably a goddess named Kaireth that did it, and that she probably doesn't appreciate you being so rude to someone she was trying to help with a blessing!"

Bringing her arms up to cross under her chest, she huffed again before adding. "Also, I don't know OR care who or what a Froviel Empire is, and I'm definitely not a spy from another country."
Will work on a post after dinner!

Edit: And posted an introduction for Leela!

Even though she had stepped out of her hut with resolve, she couldn't help but be momentarily surprised by how quickly someone approached her. Her eyes went wide for a moment, but she quickly forced a calm, neutral expression back on to her face. "Hello... Cyrus." She returned the greeting, delaying just slightly as she took a moment to recall his name. Giving a nod at his request, she flicked her gaze to the spoils in question - a fairly large rabbit, by the looks of it.

Her thoughts turned to encounters such as this she had witnessed in the past, between the former Shaman and the hunters who asked things like this of him. Looking back to Cyrus after a moment, she gave her advice in a slow, thoughtful manner. "Skin the pelt and do with it as you wish, and take a leg for yourself as well. Offer the body of the meat to be given to the pregnant, and offer one of the remaining legs to the Chief. The other two..." Here, she trailed off uncertainly, and a small nagging in her own belly brought a mild conflict - would it be appropriate to claim a leg as her own for breakfast, or would it be better served going to another?

Realizing she had fallen silent for a little too long, she cleared her throat and concluded. "Offer the other two legs to the hungry, and present the bones as crafting materials. Except the skull, which you should offer to the gods as thanks." She nodded once again, this time more to herself than to Cyrus, and waited with some apprehension to see if he thought her judgements were fair and appropriate.

I'll work on a post after I get some sleep and wake up in the morning, looking forward to seeing more of everyone!
Nice posts so far! I'll work on a post after I get some sleep and wake up in the morning. Very excited!

EDIT: And post up! Didn't have time to finish it this morning so it had to wait until evening, but hopefully it's a solid one!
No worries, take your time!
Looking forward to it!

I imagine the first few bits of interaction will be joining up under the same Familia and getting to know each other, but I'm all ears if someone has any particular ideas for interacting with Leela. Feel free to send me a message if you'd prefer that, or we can talk here. Either way works for me!
