Hey I'm still here! I just got back from a weekend trip, so I'll start reading the IC. Man, you guys wrote a lot! If you think I would slow the action, you're welcome to sideline Fate (it would be pretty easy; he's nothing without the helmet).
Username: riurik
Name: Terrance Brennen
Current alias: Doctor Johnathan Stone
Age: 32
Occupations: con, cheat, quack, liar, scoundrel and general shady character
Gender: Man
Height: 5' 9"
Weight: 150

Starting Location: Gold Springs, or the Land of Easy Marks
Skills: As a con man, he is an expect at lying, cheating (including stacking a deck), bluffing, and general deception. He's a decent pickpocket and has some practice with safe-cracking.
Weaknesses: He's not handy with a horse or rifle. When it comes to conning women (especialy into bed) Terrance often over plays his hand, and flubs whatever lie he's spinning. In a fist fight, Terrance relies on dirty tactics and trickery over actual fighting ability. He likes to avoid combat whenever he can.
Weaponry: Bulldog revolver and a knife.
Equipment: deck of cards (plus a few extra aces...), regular dice, loaded dice, bag of pseudo-medical mumbo-jumbo, pair of fake glasses
Personality: Terrance does a little of everything and anything to make a buck. He's crazy like a fox and has smarm in spades. Selfish and self-absorbed doesn't begin to characterize him; he'll do just about anything for his own gain. Perhaps the one crime he doesn't endulge in is murder; he hates the mess. Outwardly, however, he appears very charming and cultured.
Biography: Doctor Johnathan Stone, Terrance's current alias, was purported to be the son of a wealthy Southern gentleman of high esteem. The Civil War left Dr. Stone penniless, landless, and homeless. Having already gotten a medical degree, Dr. Stone left for the new West.

In reality, Terrance was the son of a poor farmer from Kentucky. He was orphaned at a young age. He worked on riverboats as a youth, and slowly learned that lying was easier than hard work. In his latest racket, he pawns off supposedly medical cures for any and all ailments, but only if the victim, er, pactient isn't planning on staying in Gold Springs long.
I'm interested. I love both shows.
I'm interested, I'll work on a CS.
Could I choose a different homeland? I'm thinking of Rus', which was located in what is now northern Russia, near the Baltic Sea. They had excellent relations with the wider Nordic world.
I'm interested. Also interested in the tone. From "bounty NPCs" I kind of surmise it will be fairly violent?

Also, anyone ever play Gun for Xbox? Best Wild West game.
A flash of bluish white lit up the darkness of an abandoned S.T.A.R. Labs basement. The light flashed insistently, impatiently waiting a response. A red light blinked on in the familiar darkness, and searched the room: essential components for tomorrow’s breakthroughs sat waiting for construction, revolutionary technologies neared completion, the designs of a genius waited to prevent another disaster.

“Lights,” a husky voice commanded, and was obeyed.

A brown eye blinked to life in the new light and searched the room: boxes of parts spilled their contents haphazardly onto a cluttered floor, half finished inventions competed with each other for room, the obsessions of a man reliving his past.

Both brown and red found the instigator together. It was a screen from an old system, flashing a message. Brainiac had taken over most of the Justice League. Most of what was left. New heroes were needed.

Cyborg looked at his reflection in the screen. One red eye, mechanical. One brown eye, biological. Both were from his father. Wrinkles crisscrossed his worn human face, while his cybernetic face was covered in grime and dust. I’m not one of the new heroes. This isn’t for me. I’m half frail and half hollow.

His cold metal hand ran through his long, unkempt hair. His brown eye blinked several more times, trying to get accustomed to the bright lights it had not seen in so long. Once adjusted, it surveyed the room once more. How did it come to this? How long has it been? Cyborg’s gaze came to rest on the figure standing guard in the corner. His new body. Cyborg sighed. It really isn’t a choice. I couldn’t save them last time, but I can save them this time.

------
As he entered the new base, Cyborg once again questioned himself. He had cut his hair, washed his skin (both metal and flesh), and installed his new body, but he still felt old and hollow. The heroes already there didn’t make him feel any better. God, their young. Or I’m just old. I’m could be their father. New Flash, new Green Arrow, new Firestorm. Old Cyborg. He stooped his towering form to greet the three of them in turn. Cyborg's voice was raspy from disuse; he wasn’t sure the last time someone had heard it.
Maybe he got frozen in a block of ice and Samuel L Jackson had to thaw him out. :P
Not sure if this is his reasoning, but I think Deathstroke would be really old at this point. He's usually depicted as oldish (40-50?) in the "standard" time, and this is about 40 years later, making him 80-90.

This guy sucks! Phil thought as he blasted another of Double Down's volleys out of the air. I wish I could just use a shield. Blasting these cards individually is time-consuming, exausting, and I'm not even getting all of them. There was blood dripping from several cuts on Phil's body, but the civilians around him were safe.

Phil heard Hellfire call his name, saying that they could try to use Double Down's attacks against Girder. However, Cyber Knight made this a moot point. Phil watched as she absorbed parts of the parked cars, then massed her gained weight on Girder. She completely ignored the mother and child trapped in one of the cars. She really doesn't have any empathy. She doesn't care about human life. Why is she even on a superhero team? After making sure the civilians in his area were clear, Phil rushed to help the two victims. Phil checked the woman's pulse; it was there--barely. Phil did his best to get them out of the combat and to help. They appeared to be some of the last civilians now. Time for business.
I expunged the Titans from my CS. Since this is more New 52, does that mean the Cyborg was a founding member of the Justice League, and has access to boom tubes in this universe?
As for the hair, I'd say it looks more like the second picture.
