I have stressed myself out now adding to Milo, I see a female character posted and think to myself that someone is taking me on and making Milos ex to torment him. Jeez, I need to not get too attached to this guy.

@Pilatus
Milo Ventri

Milo smiled under his well groomed beard, he was glad that he had made a friend quickly, perhaps things can truly be better, he listened as she mentioned another event, and dancing, he was a clumsy as an ox on ice but there was no chance that he would turn down the offer. The part of the offer that baffled him however was her saying she wasn't much of a dancer, he found that hard to believe, even if she could only dance a moment, Milo had no doubt she was graceful.

"I'm sure your skill on a dance floor is unmatched, if only by your pleasant company." He said while chuckling a little.

Milo turned his thoughts to home for a minute, an urging notion in his mind, memories of everyone he left behind, including his girlfriend from then. Was what he was doing even ok? He had been a monster then, and he even traveled far, far away without saying a word, surely she hated him enough to never look for him, never to come for him. and in that moment he had a sense of fear and dread, the impending pain of a past come back to haunt him. Surely he was allowed to have this though right? He was allowed to be as happy as anyone, and heavens know that where he was, who he was, made no one happy.
Milo snapped back to himself as Vika mentioned calling her, she was sweet, truly, Milo wished that he had been here his whole life, so that he wouldn't have to feel so pained. Milo finished off his drink now and decided that he had had enough, bikeing home buzzed at night was already going to be hard.

"Will do, it has been pretty quiet in the shop, constant ringing like will either enlighten you or drive you mad, I think it did both to me."
*salute*
That's perfectly fine, everyone is able to do it differently it is all player discretion you could do instant cast, or alchemy circles or incantation it doesn't matter to me

the sound of my brain sizzling in the morning trying to type a response for Milo
Milo Ventri

Milo chuckled at the her flippant disregard of a couple swords and axes, he should hope that she wouldn't be scared off by it, seeing as even as they shared a pained moment, his mind raced with ideas, somehow he was sure that there was a design that would embody what she was, and better yet, who she would be. As she talked about her illness, Milo knew that his pain was not the same, she had lost it all like him, but she seemed to be having a harder time coming back from that, he had been lucky, his injuries were healing well, he may even be able to compete again someday, Vika didn't seem so far along. Milo recalled something he had said to Vika at the Swans song, there is nothing so fragile about us, an adamant believer that if there is a will there is a way, Milo couldn't help but wonder...

Vika raised her drink and Milo followed suit, "To those that can't be broken" Milo smiled, a shared bond set in the pain of their pasts, how odd, who could have guessed that this was the future that he found after leaving home, this girl, this town, it was madness, like there was something in the air that made everyone so gung ho about everything, but damn if it wasn't exciting. Milo had never had much of a life back home, so having this moment meant a lot to him, though he would never say it out loud, his time back home was always work and practice, even still he works and practices, but it's times like this when the freedom to just stop catches up to him and he can't help but smile.
Havish Garrison

It had been three days, Havish had spent three whole days with these Magisters, and the body of the knight he had looked up to. This was utter madness, they keep telling him that he was a magister as well, they kept referring to his power as the Armadillo cloak, but he had never done anything, no magic, no nothing, he had seen magisters spew flame from their hands and teleport from rooftop to rooftop, and now he was expected to do something like that, he couldn't even tussle with the guys in town let alone monsters like the snake that killed the knight.

"Ummm, how much further is it?"

Havish said meekly to the woman holding the reins of the wagon. She looked at him and smiled, she was a nice lady as far as he had seen, her and her partner and young man, not much older than Havish himself, they had been very pleasant on the trip, they had even tried to help Havish coax out his power but to no avail. The woman said nothing she just pointed ahead of them and in the distance you could see the towers of the Grand Magisterium in the distance, a marvel to be sure, and Havish was starting to feel excited.

"The Grand Magisterium, the heart of magic in this world, if you have the aptitude you will learn more than you could ever dream."

The woman spoke sweetly before looking back at Havish who at the mention of aptitude seemed to have shrank down into himself, she could tell his confidence was still lacking, he had a power, it was just a shy one.

---------------------

As the Wagon passed through the gates Havish gawked at the sights of the campus, there were two mages in a battle just two the side, one was throwing entire boulders while the other seemed to melt them away as they touch his hands, others seemed to just be hanging out and having something to eat. All around him he noticed large stone figures, the shape of men, though covered in blue lines, they seemed to be carrying out the mundane tasks of the area, cleaning, cooking, repairing fields, he had never seen golems like that before, he had only ever heard of them from stories.

The young man turned to Havish, "Hey pal, look, we are going to drop you at the dorms, all you got to do is go in, find a door that has a blank nameplate and go in, once you do, you are enrolled, easy, you get a shared space with two others so be prepared." And the man clapped Havish on the shoulder, then the other, and with ease picked him up as though he were an infant, the man didn't even stand. Havish was placed on the ground, "Don't worry, you will be fine, just... don't pick a fight or anything. Oh and I will have something sent to you in a day or two, take care." And the cart started to move again, leaving Havish alone in front of the dorm building.
