Milo Ventri
Saturday Afternoon
Milo went off and took Victoria home, he wasn't about to let her take a cab home, he wasn't some kind of monster. Once she was home safe and sound Milo took the opportunity to spend his time catching up on his work that he had been putting off with all the excitement around town lately. Milo returned home and put away his keys and jacket before passing by his kitchen on the way back to the shop, he stopped for a moment before reaching into the trash bin and removing the broken picture frame from the garbage, he looked at it and smiled,
"Guess I'm not as over it as I thought." He muttered in the silence, taking the picture and putting it away somewhere much less likely to be stumbled upon.
Milo stood in his shop pounding away at a red hot piece of steel, the sound piercing through the air, heat was baking him through and sweat was pouring from him. However as he set the piece to cool and went over to a separate piece to work he stopped at his desk, the thought of getting a bit of work done on a side project caught his fancy, the usual reason his paying jobs took so long. Milo sat down with his own personal longsword, he had been working on it for some time it was nearly done. Milo set himself to sharpening the large blade slowly and carefully until his hand slipped and slid along the edge cutting his hand pretty good.
"Ah fuck!" Milo jumped up from his seat in a pain induced rage and chucked his sharpening stone across the shop floor, and let out a string of curses that only helped to make him feel better. The pain was pretty mild but the amount of blood was unpleasant, Milo went and grabbed a cloth and staunched it, kicked open the cabinet against the wall and pulled out a small box and a large unmarked bottle.
"Oh great, this is a day or two I'm gonna lose." Milo opened the box and inside was a suture kit, this was not the first or last time he had sliced open his hand or something and he figured it was easier and cheaper to just learn how to do it himself. He got out the needle and thread and opened the bottle, the alcohol smell was strong, it was something between moonshine and everclear, something he used to brew back in Delta with Ana and Paige, they are the only others that even know the recipe, he took a big drink of the liquid and then pour some over the needle and his wound. The burning was ridiculous, but you know that it is clearing it out, and with as steady a hand as he could he set to trying to stitch his own hand up.
