Will you get applying though? :P

May do, not too up on current Marvel though - other than a few recent comics where all the abstracts get murderised by the Beyonders which includes the Living Tribunal biting the dust too. May go for Daniel Rand - but depends how much we can tailor and alter the back story though......
Thanks for the like btw @RogerD and nice to see you poking your head around the Guild again :P

I've been away too long. Love this RP btw, it is good stuff and will keep watching and lurking :)
Did I really say Daredevil oh man.

I meant The Ghost Rider.

Under current MCU & DCU metaphysics, probably not but you could alter him to be a mutant or something like that......
Would there be a way to include Johnny Blaze, AKA Daredevil, into this RP?

He's already in it: http://marvel-movies.wikia.com/wiki/Matthew_Murdock
What about a Marvel / DC live action combination?

Use Flash / Arrow series, plus MCU continuity? Keep certain characters off the board, e.g. Avengers, Arrow & Flash, Bats (Bale version), Daredevil. Perhaps add in Supergirl from the pilot

Players can be either -

Meta's - those created by the explosion in Central City
Mutated - those whose suffer alteration as a result of another source, e.g. Supers-Soldier serum, Mirakuru (the Japanese equivalent).
Mutants - those that can channel some kind of energy* to create various effects.
**

Players can be existing characters or create original versions.

This will be a sandbox RP, very similar to the old style story debate. It will also require a Co-GM, and help with the timeline as it will also include some of the Transformers as the possible source for Stark's tech.

* Metaphysics would be mentioned separately.
** There will be a few other categories here.

With the death of Ra' Al Ghul, Damien Dark is now moving more openly now that Malcolm Merlyn is quite ignorant of his namesake's previous actions; while three immortals - Vandal Adg, En Sabar Nur, and Akharin prepare for a triune war - moving people around like pawns.
I'd probably go for Star Trek if possible but an alternate timeline.

EDIT: Just seen first and last post, so this is likely dead?

I am in agreement. The other reason I like the idea of the Jedi being rebels or in exile is so that they won't vastly outnumber the Marvel characters. There really aren't a lot of them at the moment. Though, a whole ton of them are going to be dropping into the universe next year: Black Panther, Ant-Man, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, Power Man, Iron Fist, Daredevil and more.

The thing that bugs me is that mutants cannot be in the MCU due to copyright by Sony or Fox (not sure which - but whomever did the X-Men movies) so it seems likely they'll all be inhumans. Either way I'm pretty excited by it.

DC lineup is okay too, as well as Universal Monster-verse which is rebooting Mummy and Wolfman etc.
Assallya said Hmmm... Well, how about it being a Sith Empire that encompasses most of the galaxy. That way the Jedi would be part of a rebellious movement and won't have fleets to bring to the aid of Earth.

Yup, that would work. It will also keep it a personal RP too. So any Sith could possibly also be renegades and wanting to avoid the notice of potential competition so to speak.
Assallya said Something with a lot of Sith I would suspect. If you have Marvel characters you're going to need them to balance the action.

There's no reason that Jedi can't do the same and use a halfway between Force Unleashed and CGI Clone Wars stuff. Dooku's fights like some venerable chinese kung-fu master.

Well, basically, I"m looking for a recovered Earth planet that developed magical powers centuries ago, and is currently in the Space Opera age. It has psionic powers like telepaths and telekinetics, wizards, and the mystical kinds of psionics like Force Users. Of course, it also went through a mythical age with people like Pagan gods as well as a supreme, more 'Godlike" deity, having angels as servants. Although, to be fair, Lucifer is definitely powerful enough to be an Elder god even in Mortal Kombat. The fights we see on the show are just because they need avatars to function on Earth. If it was Lucifer and other powerful angels like Castiel fighting with their full potential, they could all destroy most if not everything in Mortal Kombat easily, with the exceptions of extremely tough and smart enemies like Shinnok, Onaga, Blaze, Shao Kahn, etcetera.

Really I thought the Elder gods in MK killed the One Reality and forced it to stay separate?

Notice in this picture they'd dwarf the angels in Supernatural. But it is your RP at the end of the day, so your back story.

Why not have a Call of Cthulhu-esque environment then? Particularly combining both Cthulhu Invictus and Cthulhu Dark Ages. The former has immortals that are essentially immune to normal weapons - for that you could easily read akin to Marvel Movies Asgardians, and Dark Ages which has incorporeal beings akin to angels. So it covers everything there, without the need to probe more into the brokenness that is Supernatural cosmology.

Or if you wanted a space opera with angels and demons etc then I recommend something like Alpha Omega. PM me for me details re Cthulhu or Alpha Omega.

In essence go visit Marvel or DC wikia, and a few others and copy-pasta the bits you like and world-build from there. I'm not trying to thread-crap here, just attempting to help you get a viable RP that people can understand and play.

Up to you really as you're GMing it.
