Bio

Yo! I am Fox. I'm a 30 year old guy. I love anime, writing, video games, reading, and all the usual nerd stuff. I also recently came out as pansexual. Probably TMI, but I'm finally ok with admitting that about myself, so why not shout it out occasionally? Anyway! I hope to have fun around here, feel free to message me here or on discord!

A figure sat at a table near the corner, hunched over slightly and gripping at her head with one arm. Most would assume she was shaking off a hangover, but in fact this half-drow was doing her best to remain lucid and in the moment. She struggled for a moment, until once again her mind quieted. She had come to town for the usual. Work that would lead her to ancient and forgotten places. She stood out a little in her current environment. She was wearing the fine clothes of a noble, complete with a deep red cape. On her side was a rapier, ordained with silver and jewels, and on the other, a fairly heavy coin purse. She looked up as the bell to the door rang, noticing a child enter. She was sure it wouldn't mean much to her, though. Now that she had her wits about her, the woman stood up and strode to the job wall, stopping before Aryal.

"Salutations. I am Elerra, of the House Vandree." She winced for a moment as her mind once again ached and warped against her will. She did her best to shake it off and continue. [color=#2E86C1]"I am interested in any jobs that require delving into parts unknown or forgotten. Mayhap such a quest is upon thy board?"[\color] She knew that it was madness to find what she was looking for on her first try in a new town, so continued. "Of course, if you do not, I am happy to earn my keep helping the common folk however possible."

Heck, I'll probably make a character for this one too lol.
I can't say I think it fits with the vibe super well, in my opinion, but I'm not going to stop anyone, especially if the GM says it's okay. That said, you have to be ready for basically everyone to be on edge around you, and possibly even attack. Imagine being in the zombie apocalypse IRL and then you see an anthro animal walking around, wouldn't your instincts tell you that's an enemy?
Oh, I overlooked giving her fishing gear too, and the obvious saddle and stuff on her horse. Is it okay if I add that stuff on her sheet?

Okay. I just figure it'd work better from an RP angle to stay in roughly the same area, especially if we have fewer players. We want our characters to interact, after all. So I'll just go with Florida for my character as well. Then like you said, we can move along if we hear of new safezones and stuff. I plan on my character starting as a wanderer of sorts, kind of drifting from settlement to settlement, but for some reason she'll end up sticking around here for a while
So what state or area is this in? It'll give me a better idea for my character that way. I assume since it's the apocalypse, most people don't try to go cross country or anything, or if they do, perhaps they're coming to this place because of an abundance of good soil, water, or other types of resources one would need to truly rebuild a society.
Why not, like I said, I'd have preferred the super hero school, but apocalypse can be kinda fun too. I'll work on a character sheet here soon.
I'm a bit more interested in a hero school, but I'd be down for either
