Welcome to the Velvet Room...

Hello! Before I delve into everything in detail, just a note that this despite the gif up there, I'm not specifically only seeking P5 content! I'm seeking...

|| RP based off of the Persona franchise (Anything from P1 to P5)
|| Either completely original characters or a mix of canons and OCs (set in an original plot after the events of the game(s)). Canon/canon is very much dependent on what pair you're looking for; there's unfortunately only a small handful that I particularly like (Ryuji/Ann, Minako/Shinjiro or Ryoji, Kanji/Naoto, Souji/Rise)!
|| Partners who are 18+. This does not mean that there will be any sexual themes, but I do want to keep things safe and comfortable for both of us if we do delve into darker subject matters/something explicit. I am comfortable with either fading to black or playing things out; feel free to let me know what your preference is!
|| Partners who are willing to play more than one character or double as needed! I will always be willing to do the same.

With that out of the way...

About Me

|| I live in PST (GMT-8) time. I work full-time though, so I might only be able to get 1-2 replies in a day depending on my partner! If you happen to be on and responding when it's evening here though, I can usually bounce replies back and forth pretty quickly.

|| I'm in my twenties and am perfectly comfortable with mature scenes. That said, please do feel free to let me know ahead of time if there are certain themes that make you uncomfortable!

|| With romance, I do typically prefer F/M for myself, but am definitely comfortable with doubling and playing mlm/wlw or other pairs for you. I'm also willing to try my hand at playing any canon if we end up doing any canon/oc pairs!

|| I typically write 3-5 paragraphs, but I'll try to match whatever my partner is most comfortable with, so don't worry if you prefer to write more/less!

Plots

|| This is what I'm particularly interested in right now, but a storyline that follows adult characters rather than teenagers. For a potential plot, perhaps a phone app or forum that happens to appear when someone is filled with intense loathing towards another person? The rumour is that if you type in the name of the person who you hate, they'll be carried off to hell, but the person who puts in the name tends to show up dead more often than not. Of course, this is just an urban legend in this particular world since there's no evidence for or against such a service.

|| A more typical Persona plot with teens. Maybe an online game that appears to glitch out when midnight hits, revealing a server that isn't quite in line with what most players are used to. This is actually a really old idea I had years back that I never got to play around with, so it's definitely only half-formed, but I'd be willing to build it up with someone if anyone is interested! This gives the potential for some interesting, personalized costumes like P5 though! I was thinking Grimm's Fairy Tales as a Persona/character theme, but again, these are just tiny bits of pieces of ideas that can easily be scrapped or changed.

|| This option would probably involve spoilers, but some sort of sequel to the canon plot(s) of the games (either just a few months into the future or many years). I'd be okay with OC/canon pairs here so long as you're willing to double! Some characters I'd love to play against especially are Akihiko, maybe Daisuke (from P4) or Joker. I'm pretty comfortable with picking up most characters, but I've had experience with playing Shinjiro, Yosuke, Naoto, Ryuji, Makoto, Ann, annnd a few others so far.

|| Canon side characters that deserve a plot of their own, maybe? For one, I wouldn't mind playing an aged up Nanako with and aged up Ken (...who I know isn't a side character, but still), Maiko, and Shinya. Alternatively, there are plenty of other canon npcs we could delve into exploring and developing. This can be canon/canon or canon/OC!

|| Suggest something! I'm just in a Persona mood, so I'm willing to try almost anything!

The faintest widening of her eyes was the only outward indication that Minori was surprised by the friendly response; truthfully, she had half-expected him to rebuff her greeting. Tsk tsk, she scolded herself, the corner of her mouth pulling upwards in a wry, lop-sided smile, Just goes to show that I shouldn't judge someone by their initial appearance. She would have thought that she of all people should have known that.

"I'm Minori Koizumi! It's nice to meet you too, Katsu...san?" She faltered as she tried to figure out the appropriate suffix to use, her brows creasing in thought. She knew that "-san" was always the most standard and polite way to go, particularly with people who she had just met, but damn if it didn't sound at least a little weird to her when she used it to refer to someone who was practically the same age. Then again, she wasn't one to disregard what made someone comfortable or uncomfortable, so she supposed that it was always best to play things safe.

Laughing at the offer, Minori adjusted her bag on her shoulder before tilting her head at him, one brow arched high. "Now why would either of us ever get funny looks?" she asked in an exaggerated tone that clearly betrayed her amusement, "We're just two normal looking high school students minding our own business, no? Nothing particularly remarkable or attention-catching about either of us."

"Buuuuut," she continued, "If you really don't mind the company, then I think I'll take your offer. I live in this direction anyways!"
