There was once an Association called the Rika Fundraising Association (or RFA for short). This association was started by a woman named Rika and its purpose is to raise money by fundraising through the hosting of parties, and the main basis of Mystic Messenger. After Rika's death, the remaining members attempt to keep the parties going but without any success. If you know of the game already, odds are you know of her true fate…but in this world, Rika did in fact die as we were told but the true way she’d died is unknown. V sticks to the story of her death he’d told the others but the truth is that she’d been ruling over Mint Eye then one day suddenly disappeared. Not even he knows the truth of what happened to her.
But Mint Eye isn’t without a leader. A mysterious man known simply by the name “Unknown” rules it from behind the scenes and, honoring the late Rika’s wishes, vows to destroy the RFA and bring its members over to Mint Eye…or suffer the consequences. The problem was how to get into the messenger and into the member’s heads. This is where Unknown’s plan comes into play.
An ad was placed on a popular forum, claiming to be looking for five female volunteers to take place in an experiment. When the subjects arrived, They were told to wear a wrist band that was tightly secure to their wrists and to download an app on their cellphones called “The Mystic Cloud”. This app contains several files with different information sent to each volunteer, app called “The watch” that they weren’t able to get into, and an app entitled “Mystic Messenger.”. When they were fully enlisted in the “Experiment”, they were told the real truth of what they’d signed off and trapped themselves into doing.
The files container different information pertaining to the Association “RFA” but they weren’t complete. The Mystic Messenger app was there to communicate with and to try and deceive its current members into trusting them with the lie of “Coming across a weird text sent from a stranger’s phone that led them to the app” to explain why they’re there. Once they gained their trust, they were to try and get the rest of the information, bring them over to Mint eye, and/or judge who should be eliminated. The wrist band that was secured tightly would not come off until their task was done. If they didn’t complete it within three months, the bands would inject them with a poison that would kill them within minutes. The app “The Watch” was designed to hack into their phones on the last day and judge if they deserved to live or die.

Guidelines:
- This will take place over Discord. We will be doing both aspects of the game, meaning some first person messenger styled roleplaying as well as some third person roleplaying when it comes to what the characters do outside of the messenger (This will take place on separate channels in the server).
- If you’d like to roleplay a canon character, just private message me and I shall put you down as that role. If you’d like to be one of the volunteers that enter the messenger, fill out the profile layout that is listed below then private message it to me.
- This will be a mxf roleplay so keep that in mind when writing up your OC characters.
- For volunteer characters, only anime pictures for appearances, please.
